I played yesterday morning & the staff advised me that the course was going through over seeding. So my golf cart needed to stay on the cart path only. Not a big deal because the grass looks amazing. I cant wait to come back & play it again with some of my buddies.

Showed up for a 2:00 Tee time 15 minutes early didn’t get off the tee till 2:30 had to wait on the average 22 minutes every hole on vacation from Minnesota wasn’t impressed. They did give us 3 free rounds but flying out tomorrow doesn’t do my husband any good

Course was a mud pit. Tees were all chewed up. Its the worst shape ive seen in years. No price break after 3. 34.00 to play 9 holes. Not worth the money.

At 6000 yards its on the short side but this may be a bonus for the majority of people who really dont have the striking to play the longer courses. Overall the course was fun and in good nick given its August in Arizona.

Staying here now and if I could leave I would. The walls are SO thin I can hear the man next door clear his throat. I could hear his telephone conversation both sides. Every person in the parking lot passing by was like in the room. I asked for room to be cleaned.. they changed bed. No clean towels in 7 days. I finally took them to laundry mat and washed towels. The pool is not monitored and clearly people not staying here are using it. And they were rude and taking over ther pool. No towels at the pool. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Par 70 fairway friendly golf course and front is challenging with a long par 5 to start! I play regularly this course with a group of older golfers, we are all older than 65. We enjoy playing this course!

One of the best values in Mesa. I played the course approx 3 weeks after overseeding and the grass was lush, and the greens were perfect. Obviously the fairways and greens were a bit longer than normal, but thats to be expected. The layout is fun for all levels and the staff were fantastic. Its no We Ko Pa, but for the price and convenience, Painted Mountain wont disappoint.

We met our friends there for a karaoke evening. I am giving our experience a 4 star because it was fun to see all those seniors having a wonderful time, kicking their heels and heartfully singing tunes from their generation. Food there is passable, staff is great, DJ team is amazing. DJ was very considerate of all aspiring singers. She let all them sing without favoritism using a rotation system. The lounge is very outdated, carpet is smelly. Bathrooms are very clean.

Arrived at Painted Mountain, and met with James at the golf clubhouse, who was phenomenal. He quickly set us up on the course, which was in fabulous shape. Gave my family and I a great price and was apologizing for how we were treated by staff at Red Mountain. The ranger continued to check on us throughout the morning and everyone to include the cart staff was ultra professional and polite.A must for the golfer! Thank you James!

Showed up 40 minutes before our tee time with possibly 30 people standing around. Find out they dont have enough carts. How does a golf course not realize they will have issues with lack of carts for amount of tee times sold. Bizarre. Maybe its a ex city worker running the place. We are going out 30 minutes after our tee time.. Beware!

Went to see a performer here, the show was good ,but the service was the worst I have ever seen at a restaurant. We had a party of 12. It took me a hour of sitting just to get a glass of water and a beer. One in our group left because the waitress kept ignoring us. The manager finally came over and took our order, another hour before I got my food. All of the food orders came sporadically and in intervals. And we never seen the manager again after he took our orders. Bills came and almost everyone in the group had changed for drinks that they did not order. Other patrons in the restaurant were complaining of same thing. The restaurant was only 1/4th occupied also..will never go back.

Course is in ROUGH shape. A storm blew through 2 nights ago and the fairways are still littered with palm tree limbs. Grass is overgrown and doesn’t appear to have been cut in over a month. Really seems like management just doesn’t care. There are several other courses within 2 miles of here with much better playing conditions

Did the Steak and Golf promotion, about $40 per person after 3:30PM. Absolutely the best deal ever. The greens were phenomenal, the staff was friendly helpful and carts were clean and kept. It got dark before we could play the 17th and 18th hole but never did we feel pressured to leave. Than came dinner... A massive sirloin steak, full salad bar, fluffy mashed potatoes and warm dinner rolls. To top it all off, the ambiance was fun and upbeat with responsibly priced drinks and karaoke. a whole afternoon of fun and wonderful food for $40 was the best use of my money i have ever spent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AGES.

Not the greatest course. We went during summer hours when its really hot out and we only saw the food and beverage cart once the entire time. What makes this course even worse is that at the turn, you dont hit the clubhouse, theres only a halfway house that wasnt even open to stock up on water, beer, food, etc. What a disappointment.

Nice environment, not too loud or crazy for having a karaoke night. Great sound system & awesome selection of music on hand, and if the DJ doesnt have what you are looking for, he will find it on the Internet and have it ready for you on your next turn. No MIDI music here, all original artist music, with the OG vocals removed.

We went here for Easter dinner. We had reservations for noon and checked on the status about 12:20 and they said a few more minutes. We checked again at 12:40 and they had skipped us on the list. We sat down and waited 15 minutes for a server and finally we asked the bartender to send a server our way. Four of us ordered the leg of lamb for $23.99 each. We all agreed that it was cold, tough, tasteless, the potatoes and dressing tasted like it was out of a box, and I found a long blonde hair cooked into my meat. $23.99???? They were clearly under staffed for an Easter Sunday as the staff was frazzled and running around. We did get free (cold) coffee and Diet Coke!!!!!
