A very classy place, they have several amenities and the staff was amazingly courteous. The view is unlike any other, overlooking vibrant green fields and a manmade lake. A golf course, tennis court, pool and lounge are just a few of the activities they have available, and the safety, comfort and well-being of their guests is obviously a priority.

View is amazing. Red Mountain Ranch County club Location is awesome. For golf or just to relax the views are amazing here. I really only visit the country club to attend events. Everyone is professional and courteous. Mesa is lucky to have a place to host events. Layout is simple, smaller room for a bar and service main dinning hall with a dance floor below. Fits a couple hundred and a I like the balcony that overlooks the valley.

I played the course and ate in the restaurant two days in a row recently. The course is challenging, with narrow fairways, and greens well-guarded by deep bunkers. The scenery is fantastic and the course is well cared for.The food at the restaurant was really great. I had the spicy chicken sandwich the first day and the Philly cheese steak on the second. The sandwich was good but the cheese steak was really great. I have eaten at the classic joints in Philadelphia and the cheese steak here is just as good as any. Tons of cheese and a small mountain of steak...yum!Overall, a neat place and the handful of members I came across were very pleasant as well. Will definitely come back.

Two different 9 holes. Condition is not great, just FAIR.Front 9 holes are crampted among small houses. After the turn the real beauty of desert course that deserve admission and any drive to get there starts. Through out the course, you can tell some signature Pete Dye design here and there. Overall the course is not well manicured.

You need to meet their requirements to play there. Excited to try a this new course since I have passed by it all the time. I looked on their website before I went over on my birthday to play and there wasnt anything about dress code that I could find. I got there and they told me I couldnt play with jeans on. They said dresscode is on golfnows website. I told the man behind the counter I just looked on the Red Mountain website and I didnt see anything about dresscode. He said he doesnt look at their website and it is on goldnow. Realizing this discussion wasnt going anywhere I left frustrated. I called Longbow Golf Course that is close and asked if I could play with jeans and they said yes and I had a blast. Thx Longbow!

Great course for the value! This course is now one of our new favorites due to the conditions. There is some strategy that comes into play on most holes with some risk/reward hitting driver around bends. Greens were in great shape for peak-Summer. Love the layout, the way they treat you when you show up makes you feel like some kind of professional or something. Lol it is in competition with Arrowhead Golf Course in Colorado. We play here quite often and really like the course. It is always in good shape and the pro shop staff are very nice. Went out last Saturday morning and was continuously harassed by the starter/ranger. At the start, we were told that it should take between 4 hours to 4 hours and 15 minutes to complete. I believe there was a 3 some in front of us. Ranger kept telling us that we needed to pick up the pace and that we were a few minutes behind. This happened about 4 times and was totally stressing out the wives. Probably didnt help that they watched us play for 2 holes as well. Even with their interruptions (it wasnt just a quick reminder) we ended up finishing in 4 hours and 13 minutes. Additionally, the group behind us never had to wait. We were trying to plan a tournament here within the next month as we had one last year here. Because my wife had lessons here with one of the teaching pros, I had talked to the pro shop about more lessons. Now, none of that is probably going to happen. It was a very uncomfortable experience and I hope this ranger is addressed.

Played there last week and it was nice but was disappointed in the quality of the overseeding. They told us it was done and looked great but honestly if it wasnt for much of the summer grass holding on it would be very inconsistent. Ill be interested how it looks after it dies out in the next month. It was cart path only so hopefully they are still working on it.

Had our wedding here. Venue was very nice and day of staff was great. The planning process with Lorie was terrible. She could not reply to all on our emails even though asking multiple times. She had to revise the event order over and over and has no attention to detail. She tried to charge us for things that had no price in the contract and then gives us a story about how she has to pay her vendors (should have properly written the contract) and then we had to call someone else to get the fee taken off. Last minute she decided to tell us about all the Christmas decor that was never mentioned during our multiple visits there, phone calls and emails. Night of the wedding she completely dropped the ball and forgot to close the bar for 30minutes (when it was her idea) to close it for the grand entrance and then they tried to close the bar at end of night early. After a long discussion they finally kept it open after we told her that we would contact upper management. Long story short the venue is beautiful, service staff was great, food was very good but Lorie was not. We hired a day of coordinator and thank god we did and didnt have to deal with Lorie the whole night except when she messed up.

Sadly the corporate owners of the club are allowing it to crumble to the ground. Rumors are they want to convert it into houses. Lots and lots of repairs are needed but are never attended to. Part of the club house is falling and is gated off so you dont walk there due to collapse risk. Landscape goes unattended, golf course needs water and maintenance. Watering system is broken and in disrepair. Food is marginal at best and they force an 18% service charge on you. The people working there are good people but their situation is bleak. The Pete Dye course is good and tough but would be so much better with proper attention. Shameful.

What an amazing desert course. Im from out of town, never played a desert course before. This course was awesome. We played in May 2017 and the course was in amazing shape. Tee boxes and fairways had great conditions. Greens were so fast. Ive never played on greens that fast. For the price, I think its just amazing. There are a few picturesque holes. The grass range is really nice too. This course is not easy. The fairways arent very big and the greens are the toughest Ive ever played. The greens are small, well protected, and tiered. The course is a challenge, but I had a blast. I normally hit driver all day, but I decided to play the 3 wood just to make sure I stayed in play.I would highly recommend this course.

My family and I drove from north Phoenix to play, scheduled a tee time at 8:30am. Arrived at 7:15 and was told by Scott the golf course director that due to mother nature and that he has no control over frost that no golfers on the course due to frost delay until 10:00 am!!Mind you, we drove an hour, received no calls to advise of late starts! Then Scott proceeds to lie through his teeth to us, stating Longbow and and Painted Mountain, both just down the road all all closed due to frost.Scott, you straight lied to us, because we called those courses and they said you were aware that they were actually open without a frost warning, you called them prior to our arrival! So to do the math, if all golfing were to start per you at 10am then an 8:30 am start would be after the 7am golfers, so around 12 perhaps?. What a joke! So Scott refuses to bend, refuses to have cart path only, because walking on the grass kills it too!Scott, are you not aware that this course is not the TPC who btw were open this morning at 7, so was painted mountain and longbow! Are you aware of how much money you pushed right out your doors because of your inability to use your head...the winter grass is pulled in 3 months anyway?!!!Scott was rude, unaccomodating and failed to use any forethought into putting out a customer who drove an hour...how about calling people on your list?Im sure those people overseeing this location would be mortified to such decisions by such an incompetent fool such as Scott running this joke of a show!We met then at painted mountain just 4 miles from here and met with James and his staff. Painted Mountain staff and James quickly apologized for Scott and Red Mountain for their lack of customer service and concerns we were facing. We were quickly put into carts, and were golfing by 9:30. Quality course, gave us a great price and continued to check on us throughout the day. Man, a place well all go back to for sure.If it were up to me, Id fire Scott for his inability to make sound decisions and money, hed be lucky to oversee fiddlestix or castles and coasters.

It is a fun course that is a little tough, but overall fun.My main criticism is the course condition. I found the course to be dried out and messy. Great venue, beautiful ceremony area, reception hall is great and bar is awesome. Cant go wrong. The food was also amazing, Italian dinner with chicken parm. However, if your wedding photos are important to you, absolutely do not use Everything Arizona Weddings (Greg) for your photos. This is a vendor they offer and you will regret it.Very simply put, your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and this is not the photographer to capture those moments. Quick to respond up front, offer the world, but then disappear and deflect all questions thereafter. The day of the wedding was a disaster from step one. Greg, is extremely difficult to work with. We had to ask him several times to relax as he was beginning to ruin the experience. This however changed nothing. Ultimately we figured if the pictures were ok who cares? But they were not. The poses are generic and bland and you have to continually ask to do your own, but on your wedding day you will be distracted and not thinking of funny things to do and which family members to get pics with. The final product was lacking severely. The edited photos look better when you apply a simple apple filter on your iPhone and we are terribly disappointed. On top of this and more importantly, there are so many moments not captured; no photos of all of our guests (aside from giant group class graduation type photo), the tables after being decorated (only before with candles next to centerpieces unlit), none of the food (at all), bar (which was a huge room with beautiful custom copper plated bar), our first dance (had to awkwardly go back out after for pics, none of spins or dips or smiles/kisses on floor), and too many more to name.Again, do not take a chance on pictures, they will tell your story for decades to come & that is something we will forever regret.
