Im only giving them three stars the last time I was in here the prices were a lot more reasonable than they were this time. Ill have to start going to Walmart and Hobby Lobby for my crafts admitting lie I dont go that often to the craft store and so its been awhile but still the prices are astronomical I was just recently at Hobby Lobby and Walmart purchasing some of these same items that I need for the holidays and they were much lower in price.

Let me begin by saying I am a top fan of Michaels, just not this location because of a particular employee named Mary. Because of Mary, I have NEVER had worse shopping experience at Michaels EVER!!! She was beyond rude and basically followed me around the store, like on my heels, to the point where I told her how uncomfortable she was making me and just left. This is after I had set the basket that I was carrying down, for her to pick it up, and tell me she would take it up to the register for me..ummmm, excuse me WHAAAAA???? I was beyond flabbergasted. Needless to say Ill be contacting the store manager tomorrow along with corporate (too late tonight) and will definitely never return to this location. Thanks Mary!!

Everything is very well organized. The employees are extremely nice and helpful. They have everything from children’s toys to scrapbooking supplies.

Why do you have so many employees walking around asking if I need help finding anything that it’s beyond irritating. Can’t even have a thought of my own and only one cashier??? I used to find my trips there relaxing... now I actually have chosen to spend my money at a different craft store.

This store always seems to have a lot more things in stock than Tempe marketplace. Pretty much the only place Ive been able to get the silhouette iridescent printable sticker paper. Every other store seems to be sold out.Overall, for everything, this is a pretty well stocked store.

Michaels is just OK. Its 3 days before Valentines and almost nothing in stock. But Easter is already well stocked. I only found one thing, out of 4, I wanted but did not buy it, quality seemed cheap. I was walking around for 30 minutes looking for stuff and not one person asked if they could help me. I gave them 4 stars, because they are well stocked on most stuff.

We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the manager of this awful establishment Andrew. He was rude and condescending from the very start of the conversation. He belittled my wife while on the phone and his sexist condescending attitude was appalling on all fronts. He’s a disgrace to retail and needs to be fired immediately. When we asked to speak to his manger, he replied that he was the manager. When we told him we didn’t appreciate his tone or his handling of our concern, he proceeded to hang up on us. He’s a spineless reprobate that deserves to be fired. I hope his managers find this review and take action. I will be posting on all social media, the BBB, and any other places I can write a review. He’s a disgrace.

We were looking for a specific item we had purchased before. We were looking for it and a nice employee asked if she could help. She was friendly and sweet. She took us to a place where they were likely to be but it wasnt what we were looking for. We explained what we were looking for and she told us they didnt sell them anymore. We kept looking and went down every isle and we did find them.

I forgot my crochet hook this morning so I stopped at the closest Michaels. They had what I needed for a quick replacement and because I had a 50% off coupon I also bought the largest crochet hook I have ever seen. Score. Did I need it? No. Did I want to add it to my huge collection. Yes!!! Excellent customer service by the way st the register!!!

Ive been pretty happy with this Michaels store. Its always clean inside, and I feel like their inventory is typically better than others I have been to. Staff has been friendly and helpful whenever I have needed assistance. They also have called for cashier backup much sooner than others Ive been too, which definitely makes for a better experience.

I just got off the phone with Andrew. I feel sorry for the guy. Apparently he hates his job and definitely does not care about customers in any fashion. He was short, rude, unapologetic, and demeaning. I WILL not ever come back to this store until he is fired. While on the phone, I told him a concern and he thought that if he spoke slower, I would understand what he was trying to say. All it did was make himself sound like a fool. Reading the other comments of another Manager - Linda - and last comments about Andrew - make it apparent that Micheals does not do their diligence when promoting managers. Stay away from this store.

Who does not love Michaels? I need to buy a specific type of pen for drawing and writing. I saw it on Amazon for $9.99. It was $19.99 at Michaels. But you can touch and sample the pen at Michaels. I am on Michaels rewards and remember seeing a coupon in my email. For 50% off one item. So I drove down, play with the pens, and got it for $9.98 and had it within 20 mins. I did not want to wait for two days shipping and chance not getting the right pen for the look and feel I was looking for. It was quick and easy. The secret is to buy one item at a time, so you get 40%, 50%, or even 60% off. And when it comes for frames for my photography... Hands down Michaels is the BEST!

This particular vendor of do-it-yourself decor was packed on a Saturday (go figure). Through the whole store there were no employees weeping behind displays (as I expected). In fact, they were engaged and oh so helpful.

Big stuff, little stuff, dry stuff, wet stuff, colorful things in every color, white stuff, black stuff, stuff for the day, stuff for the night, stuff for small projects, stuff for the house, stuff to last a minute, and stuff to last a lifetime. Store is well organized and well stocked. Was able to get in, find what I needed, and get out relatively quick. Cashiers were quick and efficient and most of all, friendly. They assisted several people with coupons while I was at the checkout and did so with ease.

It was organized and clean and associates were very helpful. I had pics framed their, great work on the frame and he helped pic out a frame that complimented the painting. Prices are good but framing could be a lot cheaper.

My mom and I have been coming to this location since it opened and after our experience today we will NEVER go back to this location. The man who claimed to be the store manger was extremely rude to my mom. I asked him to please stop being condescending to her because she understood what he was saying and didnt need to keep repeating himself. He then started yelling at me, a clearly very pregnant woman, saying if I thought he was being condicending he wouldnt honor any of our coupons. We ended up leaving and not making our purchases because he was being so rude it was unbelievable. I immediately contacted the corporate phone number and filed a complaint. Hopefully the district manager calls back like we were told they would. This was the most unbelievable and horrible shopping experience weve ever had.

Place was great. Already had Halloween stuff out. Bought a gew things. Staff was courteous and the cashier, who was training, was pleasant and fun and checked us out pretty quickly. Line was a little long at first, til they finally opened up a second, but she was getting better each time. Only reason i gave them a four is because it took so long to open up a second line, causing a bit of a wait.

Most items expensive, no clear signs to locate products, walked up and down isles looking for things, I was 30 minutes inside the store before I found a store employee to ask for help finding an item. A lot of craft items common in the southern California stores were not available, or only in small sizes with high prices, i.e. glues, papers pads, and punches.

Found everything I needed on sale. Good parking lot and a well run store.

Very helpful framing staff but costs outragously too high! I came today (another visit) for clay... worried about the bad reviews but I think the artists dried it to quickly so I got a 10# block which happened to be on clearance plus accessories.

Love this Michaels store! The store is clean, the employees are friendly & helpful. This location also offers the Camp Creativity classes for children 3yrs+, gives me time to shop alone while the kids have fun creating!

We were rather disappointed with Michaels. The staff was not at all knowledgeable in regards to location of items within the store. The selection of items was lacking in variety. The item we purchased which was puzzle glue was dried within its container rendering it useless. It was an awkward shopping experience and I doubt we will ever go back.
