So much better than the big box stores. They had the tinfoil barbs I wanted for a reasonable price and I didnt have to wait 20 minutes for someone to help me. This is the coolest fish store in the Valley.

I love this store! Even to just walk around and check out all the cool fish, Coral and plant life. I have a few puffer fish at home and have boughten a few different types of fish from this store and have never had a bad experience. The staff are always nice and informative.

First time in your store. The young man who helped me was very nice helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Not one dirty or cloudy tank to be found. Store is organized and very clean. You can tell they care about their business.

Usually we have good luck with their fish. Bought one and quarantined it. A week later my tank got velvet and wiped out almost my entire tank. Lost 6 fish. 5 survived.

So many fish to choose and great prices!! Staff are friendly..Megan and Gavin are very knowledgeable about fish and its environment... picked up some angels from this store and all of them are healthy and happy!!! My kids enjoy coming here than the Odysea...Will come here in a weekly basis

Great looking tanks, fish were nice and healthy. The gentlemen we spoke to about starting salt water was extremely friendly and helpful. Made it feel like an obtainable goal rather than making us feel stupid for being unknowing. Great experience.

I have been here a few times and absolutely love coming here. First time I came i did not even have a tank yet took the time to talk to me about my thoughts and gave a ton of feed back. I went in one day just for water and ended up talking to Gavin. He listened and talked to me even though I was not ready to buy, he said when I was ready to come talk to him. We went back in today to get a few things. We waited for a couple minutes while Gavin finished up. While there were a few people in the store while we were there and working with him it felt like we were the only ones there. He took all the time we needed to answer questions and offer suggestions. Anybody looking for any needs for their aquariums I would highly recommend stopping by.

I shuffle around my 3 year old when he wants to see fish. He loves it. Its great they allow us in during these times!

Favorite aquarium store Ive ever been to, Im so glad it is now my local one. Great selection of plants, fresh and saltwater fish, and corals. I cant speak as much for the saltwater side, but hard-to-find tropical fish and plants here are the best value Ive seen anywhere. Great prices, always healthy and quick to acclimate. Staff are all extremely knowledgable and helpful!

I went to Aquarium Arts as a teen (Im 52) at their old location and was very happy to reconnect with Chis and the store from a new perspective as an adult. Their prices are always great and selection is the best in the East Valley.

Aquarium Arts is fantastic! I was helped by two incredibly nice individuals who were able to help me find and get everything I needed! They have a ton of fish, plants and coral for their respective fresh and salt water tanks. My new favorite place to go!!

This place is awesome. They have the cleanest tanks Ive seen and I have been to many aquarium stores. The selection was amazing. They had so many freshwater tropical fish. You could stock any type of tank with the variety they had on hand. On top of that, their plants are amazing. They are so bushy and healthy. I usually order plants online because most of the places in town just dont have great plants. I was surprised at the variety and how beautiful they were. They had the standard stuff like anubis and horn wort, but they also had some really beautiful rare plants that Ive yet to find anywhere else. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back in the future.

Our family is new to aquariums. We just got our first small tank set up and needed some fish. We found Aquarium Arts on Google maps and decided to check them out since it was close was close to home and had good reviews. So glad we did!The staff here were extremely friendly, knowledgable, enthusiastic, and honest. We ended up coming home with 6 little fish to get us started and more knowledge than we walked in with. I appreciate the honest advice we gotCant wait to grow our fish and hopefully expand our aquarium size down the road.As far as selection, I dont know what to expect. The fresh water selection was enough to choose from without being overwhelming. And they had a lot of gorgeous tropical fish that made it fun to look around. I also noticed live plants and rocks, coral, and a wall of food, accessories and supplies.

I’ve been here twice so far and have had great experiences both times. Staff is very knowledgeable about all types of fish and plants. The shrimp I got here were very healthy, and the same goes for the plants! All of their fish looked very healthy and clean as well.

There are good reasons why I have been going to Aquarium Arts for over 20 years. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable, they have a great selection of hardware and their livestock, fresh and marine, is unmatched in the Valley. They have lately expanded their freshwater section, and the owner is really bringing in a lot of exciting wild-caught fish from South America. Nice selection of plants and the materials needed to keep them. A proper fish keepers shop that makes it a delight to shop locally.

This store deserves no stars... most all the freshwater fish are sick... I have bought several times from this place .... they die..... just like kona reef in surprise..... you can see the fungus on them.... a bunch of yahoos if u ask me......

Beautiful and lovely place. Very kind people who helped me (an inexperienced fish keeper) put together a sponge filter system for my tank and helped me pick out good, hardy plants. They also had blue velvet shrimp which I was so excited about! They’re my favorite shrimp so I just had to get a few while I was there. My tank has never looked better.

Best stop for marine life in town, by far... I have been going here for years. The staff is very helpful. I was having trouble picking the largest of 3 hawkfish from 2 separate tanks, when a staff member quickly caught all 3 fish so that I could spot the one I wanted. Some very knowledgeable employees here, and I have been in the hobby 20 years. Great selection and good prices is what keeps me coming back visit after visit. Most of the fish in my pics were obtained from Aquarium Arts.

Absolutely great place to find an extremely wide variety of fresh water and salt water fish. Staff are helpful and very knowledgeable of everything they have including live corral and many other plants for your aquarium needs. Great place for the whole family to experience the aquarium life.

Staff is friendly. Price for supplies and dry goods is way overpriced compared to Amazon or other online aquarium suppliers. Definitely should check online before buying in store. Coral selection is weak compared to other local stores (LE Corals for example).

Good overall saltwater / freshwater fish store. They only specialize in fish related products. You will find a good selection of service products like pumps and chemicals. They also carry some very nice tanks. Great selection of saltwater fish, equally good coral selections. Prices are on point with everyone else. I recommend this place for all levels of the art.

Nice shop.Fish looked healthy and they had a decent amount of equipment for sale. Corals were pretty slim pickins but we went the weekend of Black Friday, so not basing my rating on that. We will visit again when in the area.

This place is great have been going here for years and got a 125 gallon tank from them. Always have unique and fairly priced fish, inverts, and plants. Chris and the rest of staff are friendly.

Low quality store. Staff was friendly enough. A lot of skinny fish, things out of stock, tanks kept up to the bare minimum. You get what you pay for in this hobby, they had cheaper than normal prices on most fish/coral/plants but everything apart from the plants were not in great condition. Show tank was chaotic. Plenty of nicer stores in the valley, probably would only recommend if you are looking for deals on plants or a larger fish at a low price

This place has a lot of cool plants, fish, and other salt water stuff for salt water tanks. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable with all the fish and makes great recommendations. They have really cool display tanks which makes you want to break your bank and make yours just like it.

These guys are great and helpful for whatever you need in the aquatic hobby. of course some of their prices are higher than the big Internet but that is the price you pay for supporting local business and everyone should be doing this in my opinion.

I love the plant selection for my fresh water fish and snail. They love it. The associates always have helpful tips to preserve the life of the plant life. And share interesting facts about all different types aquatic life. I love this place. Great prices. And knowledgeable staff.

Amazing place been going for over 10 yrs all my fish and coral has been bought here. Never had a problem and if I did Id go to them. when they are stocked you wont be disappointed.

They have a terrific selection of both salt and fresh water fish. They also take fish, which I had to do because my black ghost knife fish out grew my aquarium.

First of hopefully many visitors to Aquarium Arts. Only a couple of miles from work will be dangerous. Enjoyed checking out the fish but was super impressed with the live plants they stock. I am doing a replanting of my 55 gal tank and this discovery came at just the right time. Yeah... Ill be back : )

If youre new to the world of aquariums and fish-keeping this is definitely the place to go. The staff are very helpful. They take the time to explain aquafiums to you and ensure that you are informed, rather than spend time pushing products.For example, on my first visit, I had a tank already and came in looking to get some fish. They took the time to explain the nitrogen cycle and how to set up a tank. They explained that the safe way would be to tank cycle thewith no fish. If they had told me I needed X or Y products to do that I would have bought them. However, they explained how I could do this with what I had at home. This showed me that they care about helping their customers rather than pushing products. When I had questions about products, they were knowledgeable and specified which were necessary to keeping a healthy tank. They also mentioned ones that would make it easier if I wanted to spend the money on them.When it came time to add fish (I cycled with fish), the staff were very helpful and recommended the right substrate and plants to make the fish as happy as possible.Ive been back about 4 times in the last 2 months and have always been helped. Even when I was approached by newer staff who were not as knowledgeable, they werent afraid to ask another staff member who knew more to make sure they were giving correct information.At one visit I purchased fish that werent correct for the setup I was running. Not wanting to give the fish an unfit home, I contacted them, and they offered to re-stock the fish and work to find a better fit for what I needed. Chris, who I believe is the manager/owner, was very helpful when I came to the store with these fish, and was helpful and quick to recommend better fish.All in all, they really care about the fish and the customers. They are good enough that Im willing to make an hour long drive to go there and get help, check out their changing stock of live plants, and see what new fish they have in. Its worth noting that they do water tests if you bring it in.If youre looking to start a tank, call ahead and see if Ian is in. He is one of the very knowledgeable and helpful staff members. He helped me choose a great tank setup that has kept my fish happy and healthy for months now.

Awesome store! Being new to the hobby I went to a few fish stores in the area and Aquarium Arts is the best. All of the employees are very helpful, most importantly they actually take their time to help and dont make you feel like you are bothering them(which was my experience at other stores in the area). Aquarium arts will always be my go to store!

Called aquarium arts and they took them with no hesitation.Their fish are priced a little more than other places but their friendliness, knowledge and able to help me when no one else would is what keeps me coming back. Place used to be good. Last time I came in there was an overwhelming fish smell and all the tanks were dirty. Sick fish in the tanks. Hope they get better.

Cool little shop, had some unique plants in hasnt seen, and brown kuhli loaches, which are hard to find! Took some plants with me back to California, the dept of ag folks waved my car through without checking anything, so who know if they would have stopped the plants.

Bought a fish. Water was merky so couldnt really evaluate the fish but...it has fin and mouth rott. I test the water it came in. Was horrible water.
