Small public park with great places to take outdoor pictures. There is also a small gazebo that is often used for weddings. I have attended a wedding there and had family pictures there and the park was a great backdrop for both.

If you visit on a Monday, be sure to run across the street and check out the Isle of Valor.The contribution WI made to the various war efforts in the past is phenomenal. Ill post the puctures of the plaques, but go read them yourself.Check out the beautiful little stone bridges and scenic setting, as well as the picturesque Federal style Victorian house that is now a museum, but only open on Mondays.

Nice park on the river in Menasha, WI, right before the month to Lake Winnebago. Lots of spring to fall wedding happen here.

It is hard to review Smith park at a time when the snow melt has left many areas under water and the flower beds are empty so I will update my review once the proper season for enjoying the park has arrived.Pros: The park is quite large offering plenty of street parking. On one end is a gazebo with flower beds and pavers leading up to it for more formal moments such as weddings. There are onsite restrooms attached to a decent size shelter although the shelter seems dated. The children’s play area is decent and offers a train car. At this time the train car was locked up behind a chain link fence.Cons: Parking for the shelter is very limited, perhaps 10 spots??? Lower flat areas are flooded so I wonder what it is like when it rains?

Attended a beautiful wedding here. The back drop, with the gazebo, was perfect. Planted flowers all around. It was just beautiful.

This is a great park, usually always had beautiful flowers, has some historic areas, and even has a train car on it. You should come here at least once in your life!

I was around the Park enjoying an amazing collection of Music being played to us from Doty Island Neighborhood Porches, the Event was called PorchaPalooza and there about 8 Porches that had Music for the listening. This is just one Porch I stopped at, there was Elvis, Jazz, Blues, Folk, and Rock and Roll, a fantastic evening in and around Smith Park!If you missed it, watch for it next year, August of 2020 and treat yourself to some great Music from your Neighbors Porch, PorchaPalooza!

Great playground, interesting historic train car, Native American effigy mounds, huge open fields, and a great little location for outdoor weddings.

Used the pavillion for Archery. Only problem was since its rained the previous night, There was standing water inside the pavillion, making it slippery in spots

Decent park, great pavilion, not the best in area. Parking around the city block perimeter, tiny parking lot. Bathrooms hmmm... for such a large park promoting the place to go for weddings and gatherings these are awful. Take some ques from Pierce park in Appleton. We call it the haunted bathroom park.

Beautiful park! Weddings galore in a lovely setting. Very accommodating, easy to find location, gazebo perfect for a wedding. Every year, seemingly as soon as the snow melts, grounds keepers must work overtime to bring spring early with bright flowers so prominent, its hard to believe only a week or so before, there was only ice and snow..

Plenty of open space for children to run around. They also have a nice playground, including Toddlertown and a sandbox. Very large pavillion also available. This is a location for many local, and private events.

Smith park on Doty Island in Menasha really impressed me with the fantastic landscaping. Everything is so clean in appearance.I see this is a popular family park equipped with play areas for youths of all ages.
