Beautiful theater in downtown Medford. I have seen several comedy shows there along with a few concerts. I would recommend for concerts that you want to sit, not a good dancing venue as is the case for many theaters. All seats are good and sound quality is nice.It is a little strange that the men’s bathroom is located upstairs.

Great venue. Small without being crowded. We sat near the back and were able to see the facial expressions of the artists. I would recommend giving it a try. A note of caution (why there is only 4 stars) is parking. If you do not know the area, give yourself extra time to find a place to park.

Love the Creterian Theater! They have fabulous holiday eventa every year like the gingerbread jubilee. Bring the whole family for these amazing gingerbread houses only 3 days out of the year the week before Thanksgiving. I have been to some plays, concerts, etc. here and youll have a great time with whatever they put on.

I enjoyed all of the performances/plays that I have gone too, so far. The costumes where great. The acoustic was wonderful because I could here everything the where saying.

Went here to see the Russian Ballet The Nutcracker! We had balcony seats it was fabulous. Clean bathrooms, great hospitality and easy to get to. Have fun! ♡

Its a wonderful theater. Saw Celtic Christmas recently. Great seats everywere with very little problem seeing over heads. Sound is greatI dont go often enough. They are presenting amazing variety of events. Parking is easy and ample. Plenty of restaurants to go to after s show. Craterian is in a lovely old building with a billboard on its front, too!

Could use another Mens restroom. 1 just is silly. Nice venue otherwise.

It was a nice place and most of the staff were friendly. My wife had a mishap getting from the box office to the theater and we missed our show. So, my only wish would be for the venue/city to improve lighting in the alley and modify the alley surface.

Staff was friendly, seats views were great and comfortable, and it has quick exits for when the show is over. Brian Regan was a great show.

I was visiting from back East and had the opportunity to catchHowlin Halloween II. What a wonderful production - the cast, thescript, the musical numbers! I thoroughly enjoyed myself and didntwant it to end. Thank you!

This is a a great venue with awesome events happening here regularly. Only reason its not a five star is I just dont know what to compare it with.If you are planning on being here for an event. The personnel wont allow you to wait inside while you wait for another in your party to bring your ticket. Understandable considering it will cause a congestion at the entry.

I took my granddaughter to see a play/ musical production of My Son Pinocchio JR. put on by the Teen Musical Theater of Oregon-TMTOIf you haven’t been to the Craterian Theater you are really missing out because this little venue doesn’t have a bad seat in the house! I’ve been here to see bigger named bands and anything you see here is truly fun and a great show. The TMTO kids are fabulous! They truly put their heart and souls into their production and man can they sing and dance! They truly inspire other young people to shake off any shyness they may have if they have any aspirations to act. Great show!!!

Im glad we have this theatre. Just watched Swan Lake, a Russian Ballet.It was very good, among other things Ive seen. Its a little spendy for drinks and such but enjoy the theatre.

I love the variety of shows the Theater has to offer. I really enjoyed the Jefferson State Choral Coalition. I cant wait to see their rock n roll show next February.

The Craterian Theater is one of Medfords most valuable assests. It provides entertainment for thousands of our seniors as well as those who attend the Rogue Valley Symphony and other venues. I have played my violin in many fine auditoriums in the San Francisco bay area and the Craterian ranks with the best of the best. Pastor and Professional Violinist Mickey LUFKIN of the Rogue VALLEY Harmonizers.

We saw Willy Wonka and it was amazing! The theater is cozy with pretty comfortable seating. Restrooms were nearby and clean. The ushers are diligent about people NOT using their phone during the performance. Im grateful for that because of the distraction it causes. Will definitely return.

TMTO performed the musical My Son Pinochuno Jr and it was AMAZING!! The performers were so exceptional that I expect to see them in future performances. The Staff directing these performers should be congratulated for their accomplishments.

It is always a fun experience and a great theater. The staff is always friendly. Parking there can be tricky. Expect to walk a little to it.

I went to the Rogue Symphony. The music was OK, but the acoustics definitely need improvement, at least for the orchestra. Violins tend to vanish, whereas the brass players tended to be too loud. Its not that they were playing loudly, but the backdrops(?) werent equally effective for the other instruments.

The shows are fabulous and the staff/volunteers are so nice and helpful. Wish parking was better but thats to be expected i guess in a downtown area.

Attended a performance by the Rogue Valley Chorale. Had to wait outside,our daughter had our tickets and wasnt there yet. Would be nice to have room enough to let folks in. Would be nice to have the box office there also,rather than in a separate building down the alley and around the corner. Three people were sitting in the wrong seats,had a hard time getting help from the staff to get that straightened out.

Its a beautiful old theater. I have seen some great entertainers. In my younger days many hour watching the movies that played there.

I just got out of the newses musical play today 3/4/19 with the worst experience ever this was supposed to be a kids event and the Director kick my family out because my youngest kid was saying daddy in Spanish this to me was racist. I talked to the lady in charge of the theater an like always she excuse the Director saying that it wasnt racist to kick us out. I walked away with my family and for sure we will never go back again.

We have performed at this theater several times. The venue is lovely, state of the art and welcoming! It is always a pleasure to come to Medford and dance in this theater!

Beautiful theater and wonderful staff. Comfortable seating with lots of legroom. We went to see Three Dog Night. It was an incredible evening for everyone. The show was well received by the fabulous people of Medford and surrounding areas. It was a great night of fun and music.

Ive seen a few of the touring shows here and everything is consistently good but the teen theater program they have is AMAZING!! The kids are great and the production values are ridiculously good for local youth theater. I dont know how they do it but I hope what grants or donations they get continue because these kids are really getting an amazing experience.

Went to three dog night great concert. Small setting which us great . Be aware they do not allow you into the sitting area until 30 minutes before the scheduled show time. Went to a concert here last year also and the bands start when they want to here.

We LOVE this theater. Its quaint with a touch of old style luxury that you can feel as soon as you walk in. The seating is great, with angled rows, so every seat can see the stage. Sound system and lighting fantastic! No short cuts taken here!

It is not often I write any review of a facility or performance. I must say I am very disappointed of the Craterian Theatre facility. Although lots of work as been done on the building from its movie hay day quite a few important spots were missed.1. Your sound system, it is really bad. This day and age the two speakers hanging in the corner of the stage really isnt the most ideal for quality and coverage. Some of the most beautiful music in world goes with the performance of Swan Lake but it sounded awful.2. Site lines, when I was kid going to the movies, at the Craterian, those things didnt seem to matter, now it does. Our seats were in the balcony and I spent the whole performance have 1/4 of the stage blocked by someone head. When that room was rebuilt the balcony should have been re-stepped for better site lines. The back to back seat spacing would have improved greatly too. You may have lost a few seats but gained a more satisfied customer base.3. Your music source for the performance actually stopped and skipped during the performance. Your source sounded like it was a LP record.4. Not much can be done regarding this, but the stage is much too small for these live performances.My suggestion would be to hire an acoustical analysis of the room, Meyer Sound, Berkeley, CA, and make their suggested changes and install their system. You wont believe the overall sound improvement. Rebuild the balcony seating.

Very nice theater. I saw The Addams Family put on by, mostly, high school students. Amazing job was done and it was very enjoyable. I highly recommend seeing anything at the Craterian.

We saw the New Chinese Acrobats at the Collier Center Craterion last night. Awesome show, they can fly!!

Small venue where no seat is a bad seat. The volunteer staff is awesome and was on top of a particularly obnoxious woman who insisted on engaging the performers and disturbing the whole theatre.
