Great bike trail. Not bad fishing in two or three years and yep a big rock. Never looked for Waldo.

Simply park with a big rock. Benches, windmill, frogs, bike parking, restored grassland, sunfish in a man made pond, sitting area, big rock, and grilling station. Access to the Grant Wood Trail system. Basic and simple.

This is a great little park. I see families fishing here all the time. I also learned what a glacial erratic is. The power of nature is amazing.

This was a great little stop. They had portable restroom, but it was super dirty. Still super fun place. Great rock to climb, a pond, a prairie, and lots of birds. Great for a lunch stop.

When I heard about the new park in Marion with a gigantic glacial boulder, I couldnt wait to go check it out! This is a great quiet hidden-away park. It has a serene pond with wildlife and a nice little pavillion. There is a trail going by, great for walking or biking. I was very impressed the boulder is much taller than me or anyone Ive ever known! My girls enjoyed climbing all the way through the crack in the rock & had space to kick a soccer ball around. Well be visiting for afternoon picnics throughout the year!

Fun close place to fish. Thrh really need to get the overgrown moss under control though. Every single cast into the pond comes back w 5 lbs of moss attached to your line.

Its beautiful. There were a lot of people there when I was there so I didnt stay long. People were fishing, people with dogs, there was a family using the shelter playing cards.

A very good Fishing spot with the new catch and keep policy. the rock is fun to play on as long as you dont fall off the rock. Make sure you watch for the giant crack in the rock and dont fall in because it will take you to China.

My grandchildren and I grabbed some food and headed to the rock park for a picnic! It was very quiet. And the kids enjoyed walking over to the pound afterwards! They can’t believe just how big the rock was in the middle of the pound! Think next time we go we will be going for a walk on the trails to discover what else we can find.

A good quick place to walk. Can link up to a larger walking area, if a small circular walk isnt your thing. Possibly a small fishing area? Theres a couple of ducks to feed or just watch or talk to!
