One of ohios greatest spots for seeing trains. There is lots of parking available and you have three different rail lines next to you! However, rail traffic varies throughout the week. One day there might be nothing, other days, there might be 15 trains in 2 hours. The museum is also usually only open on Saturdays but it does have bathrooms and is a nice place to warm up if it is cold.

Great Place. The volunteers inside are very nice. Lots of cool railroad memorabilia to look at. But if u plan a trip dont go between 2 and 5PM cause the traffic is dead but I hear early morning is fantastic. Next time Ill go early in the morning to catch the most traffic

If you want to view trains passing through, great place. If you have a scanner, take it with you, plenty of traffic on 160.xxx to 161.xxx channels. Very busy east, west, north and south traffic, two crossovers, etc...

A great place to watch trains! Easy to get to from St Rte 23 and easy to find in Marion. The museum operation times are hit and miss, but if you ever get to go inside, or in the switch tower go for it!

Always a great place for our family to sit and watch trains. Snacks, drinks, and a restroom close by at the Motomart. Sometimes the station and the tower are open and those are great to see, as well.

Nice preserved station of a bygone era. The station inside has a lot of nice railroad items from the (rail)roads that ran through the area. Theres parking on the property and plenty of places to watch trains as well. The station if Im not mistaken is open on most Saturdays, or by appointment.

Great mid-sized passenger station (now a museum) that once served the east-west Erie Lackawanna & New York Central lines, and the north-south Norfolk and Western/Pennsylvania and C&O lines. Even with the EL yard abandoned to the west, there are still plenty of trains that pound the diamonds on all lines, with the steps of the relocated AC Tower giving a great vantage point. Today CSX handles the former EL/NYC and C&O, and NS the former N&W/PRR. AC Tower, a marvel in its day, is occasionally open for demonstrations and a caboose and model railroad is also featured. A great place for railroaders of all ages.
