This park is amazing. We just moved out here and were looking for parks and found this one. There is so much cool stuff for the kids to do and what I really enjoy the most is there is one entrance. So if I sit in my car and let the kids play I know they are in the park. ️ Although there is so much for the kids to do and the one entrance dont think for a second that you wont lose your child and think they maybe gone. Awesome park

A very popular playground for kids all the way up to mid teens. There is a place for kids up to toddler age where the equipment is sized just right for them. It is still enclosed in the fence but ensures they have their own space to play safely. The rest of the fenced in area provides plenty of paths and places for the imagination to go wild. The kids will have no shortage of fun when pretending inside the rocket or on the monkey bars.A spacious section for the swings rounds out the remaining fenced in area. There are swings for both very young and older kids; even a tire swing. The enclosed area has small shredded rubber chunks covering the ground to lessen the injuries should someone fall down. Benches on the outside of the fenced in area allow parents and guardians to keep an eye on the kids while still letting them play. The park does have a canister at the entrance that accepts donations. These donations are used for maintenance and repairs .

Stopped here with my dog and it was pretty quiet, most people are here fishing and only saw a few people on the trails. The gravel trails are wide, level, and mostly flat - great for running. There are lots of easy places to walk down to the water and let your dog swim.

Huge park that my kids always love to go to. The kids will definitely burn energy going here. Parent also wear old shoes because the tire shreds that are used around the park scuffs shoes badly. But otherwise there are swings, monkey bars and tunnels and a sand area also a playground for the little ones. Its nice and clean. Nice park

Its a great place to take your children and grandchildren. Its safe, clean and enough to do to keep them active. A bus load of children came from a local school and there was more than enough room for everyone. Only 2 things I noticed is that it needs more swings and maybe a little updating. Otherwise its a wonderful place to bring your children.

This park can be dangerous. One time when my family came here for a picnic, my cousin split his head on a nail under by the tire swing it never was fixed this was many years ago. Still a nice big park but that to this day was never dealt with. The nail was sticking out almost completely. Not a good thing.

A relatively large park of 65.17 acres. The upper level is a community built playground that is good for families who want to wear their kids out in a fun, safe environment. The lower part of the park runs along the Manitowoc River. There are several miles of trails here , including part of the Ice Age Trail. The trails offer some seclusion and ample opportunities for nature study and birding. Good place to barbecue and have a picnic. During the winter the trails are popular with cross country skiers and snowshoers. A nice place for some quiet time. Next to the lower parking lot are some nice new exercise machines, donated by Kaysun.. So work out before you hike. Bring water and your binoculars

Castle Park as my 4yo likes to call it, loves going to this park. Theres one entrance/exit once you enter the playing area, which is pretty nice. When he was younger we spent a lot of time in the smaller childrens area, but he still likes to go over there from time to time. For the most part its pretty clean, has public restrooms, a bubbler, and a fair amount of parking.

Its winter, and Im already anxious for warmer weather, so I can take my son here again! He loves this park! And if its slow at the playground, he will ask me if we can take a walk on the trails. So peaceful and well maintained. Every now and then you may find some young troublemakers have done damage to the playground, but usually within a week or so, the park volunteers will come make the necessary repairs. Thanks!
