It was wet, we went up the steep side and down the shallow side. We got help along the way to determine which paths to take. We also went up and down 5 offshoots from the trail that were all fabulous. Ate lunch in the car. Coconut water, pineapple, mango, tortilla chips.

Great hike. We did the 6 mile loop over the weekend. The first half mile is the only real incline other than that it’s a gradual way up. Beautiful views.

Its small. I was lucky to find a spot on a Sunday. Bathrooms and water are shutoff due to covid, but there were 2 portapotties. The hiking was great. Everyone had a mask on!!! I didnt bring mine and had to use my shirt and felt like a fool. Id love to see less litter on the trails. If it werent for covid I would have picked it up. There are trash cans at the parking lot.

Working on parking lot, new benches, and restroom. Poor cell service make calls and text at the bottom PCH. No water. Have a great hike, start early.

The parking lot for the trailhead is currently closed for renovation. There is a small lot just up the road that you can use to access the trails. completed the Canyon View trail and it was well worth it. Pretty sort, only about 1.5 miles but it was another 1.0 via the road to get back to the parking lot.

I love loop trails and this one is one of my favorites: clockwise when I want to immediate huff and puff it to Sandstone Peak and then gradually make it back to the car, or counterclockwise if I want an easier, more gradual incline to finish off with Sandstone Peak and then downhill straight to the car.

A nice place to hike during the week. Great views at the top and most of the people you encounter are very polite. If you go at sunrise its easier for pets due to lack of water along the way.

Although we went on a foggy day, it was still an awesome hike to go on. With the recent rain everything was green and there were lots of waterfalls and streams everywhere!

Only visited the parking lot but the view was amazing! They have a porta potty style bathroom without a sink. The drive to get there was a bit rough but to experience the view, tolerable.

Lots of room to park, a restroom, and no gate at the parking entrance so no worries of possibly getting locked in if your hike runs late.

Its an awesome finding. There is a small parking area and restroom before you start your journey. This time of the year is a perfect hike! Id say: medium strenuous. 3 miles round trip. On your way to the top (Sandstone Peak) you can see variety of flowers mother nature can offer. At some point you can see Lake Sherwood and Westlake Village. Also you can wonder about our local Grand Canyon. Glad we found it.It definitely worth the time and effort. I am going back!
