Great spot for outdoor drinks and chatter. Pretty sure there were several app centric dates happening, which was a good call. Several people had carry in food, so Im assuming they allow it, but they also sell some snack stuff.

I love coming in different seasons as they always do a wonderful job. This fall it looks like they opened edid a section of the park and its quite beautiful. During winter I like going to their indoor exhibit, the warm air and smell of plants really can boost your mood.

Very beautiful and naturalistic. Nature should be pushed more into todays society. We need more natural Earth in our lives. Thank you for providing just that.

Best park to be at in Madison when the suns going down and the winds coming across the lake. Great view of the capital, too!

Great weather, great views, and an oktoberfest brewski at the biergarten! Also great for volleyball, kite flying, picnics, frisbee etc.

Olbrich Park is right next to the lake. It is spacious enough if you are concerned about social distancing. We frequent the park to play frisbee, relax and go to the wonderful outdoor beer garden.

Loved the biergarten, the capitol reflected in the lake, the balmy lake breeze and the blood red moon hung in the sky specially for late summer ambience.

Use to swim here when I was a youngster in the 60s when visiting my grandparents on Walter St. It really hasnt changed much.

We had a fun time at this little biergarden in Madison. There are a bunch of picnic tables, a few games to play (a big Jenga set, some sandy volleyball courts nearby) and even a small beach to hang out on. The day we visited was a bit overcast and drizzly but we still had a good time. As the evening got later, the small hanging lights in the area came on and created a sweet atmosphere. They had a number of beers to choose from and even came in a reusable plastic mug. Though the area is small its worth checking out because it has great views of the lake and easy parking.

Not enough parking and the beer garden and beach become different. use to be the spot to kick it but the beer garden took that away.

Olbrich is a beautiful place to walk, play, swim, or just sit in the nearby beer garden (or not) and enjoy a gorgeous sunset over our lovely capital city.There is a lot of space for pretty much anything youd like to do.Enjoy!!!

Nice park on the lake with a beach, multiple boat launches, and canoe/kayak rentals. Lots of space so pretty spread out along Atwood. The beer garden was a good place to hang out. Botanical gardens looked nice.

Olbrich beach, is where I used to come, when I first became sober. I could sit here for hours and just breathe.

Great conservatory, beautiful outdoor gardens, & interesting & fun special events. The outdoor gardens is free, the conservatory is only $2.00 except on days of special events, so it is a great deal! A place for everyone of all ages to have a fun time!!

Biergarten is best life

This pavillion is awe inspiring.

Its a nice park by the lake. There were a few grass bands playing while we were there. Fair warning, this place is popular and if you want to order a beer you may find yourself waiting for a while.

My local boat launch! Very accessible and lots of room. The docks could use some updating though.

This is a wonderful City of Madison park.

Beautiful park. Nice swimming area, open lawn for sports, rentals for Canoe, Kayak, and SUP. There’s a Beergarden that looked like a good time. I might have to try that another time.

Very good sledding with some jumps available and different slopes for fast or slow rides. Even with little snow it went well!

Love the view of the lake from here. The beach is kept clean. Easy parking!

Havent played a rec league on this field in a long time. Played field 1. It was groomed well.

The Bier Garten is a nice venue. It would be nice if the occupancy cap could be 300.

Nice beer garden with good selection of brews and a limited menu of snacks that go well with beer. Nice park right on the lake guarantees a nice breeze, even on hotter days.

There were nice shade trees and a breeze that kept it from getting too hot, but once the sun started getting lower the bugs were out in force... including some biting flies that were everywhere.

Great park. So so beach. Plenty of sports fields, boat rentals, food. Clean bathrooms are nice.

Olbrich park is nice. Its right next to lake Monona. The fields are ok some have big dips in them though, bit anyways a nice place to walk through.

City should spend money on the major asset of olbrich, and that is the beach. The city is known for its lakes clean up the beaches and lakes.

Launched onto Lake Monona from Olbrich Park boat landing. There were a lot of weeds around the dock that get pulled out of the water by the trailer. This led to a lot of cleaning.

It really was a clean, open space. Rentals for those that wanted to be on the water.
