Thoroughly enjoyed the sunset recently at Burrows Park. So peaceful, and seemingly well maintained. Will definitely go again!

Nice narrowish park with two piers. Theres a bathroom and ample amount of parking. Good spot for sunsets and its shallow so you can walk out into the lake for a while.

Outta the way smaller park with a great view of the lake. Nice sail boat launch.

Love park that doesnt get too crowded. Nice place to enjoy sitting on the grass, eating sushi and watching all the boats. Very clean!

Beautiful park to hang out in, play soccer, or just swing on the swings. The waterfront view is breathtaking, especially at sunset. Stop on by and enjoy the view and amenities.

Quaint little peaceful park a shelter waterfront a little-known gem in the city

Quite and peaceful with lots of room for kids to run around. Spot by the water or further away from it.

Boat launch shelter, lots of grass and a pretty view, but not a ton going on

A very nice park, with lake access. We attended a lovely wedding at one of the sheltered picnic areas and it was great! This is a real gem that Madison can be proud of.

Such a great spot to stop and picnic. Views are calming. Birds are chirping away. Take a walk or maybe a run to stretch your winter legs. Bring your pet and children. Nice to see the trees and bushes budding. Come by!

Big open field and a small playground.

Another of Madisons many beautiful parks! A real hidden gem for walking by lake Mendota or having a group picnic like we did in the nicely rustic pavilion. Plenty of places to grill out. Reservations are needed to use the pavilion but the Park District staff will help with that. Contact via web or call.

Its nice. Not many picnic tables in the grass but cuts down on people Im sure. Two piers with sailboats in the grass for the-beautiful-people. Nice views. Especially at sunset. View of the capital building against the lake. Can swim I think.

Very nice sand pit, and people watching

Nice green park on the water, the home of many e-scow sailboats, right on the water with kite board access, a pavilion that can be reserved, and soccer field. However, the rude ranger evicted us from the parking lot because a wedding had reserved the pavilion, though there were no signs posted, the gate was open, we had parked legally, the entire park was not reserved, and we never saw any sign of the wedding party. Sigh.

Good spot for a picnic. Great view over the lake. Covered area is huge but very dark inside - Im sure its nice if the fireplaces are blazing away, though.

Had our Kickstarter launch party for Squirrel Nuts Plenty of squirrels to make it an authentic event. Very windy on the hill but very beautiful location.

Burrows is a cute little park with great lake views of the city. It also has convenient restroom facilities.
