This place introduced me to the fun of slots! Theres so many different games that go on for what seems like forever your first time inside. The staff is always exceptional, especially in light of the pandemic. Everything is clean and looks nice. Plus its smoke free, which is really important to me! I never imagined I would love gambling so much, but this place made me reconsider. Just remember to set your limits and ideally have a buddy to make sure you play safely!

I was treated very poorly when I ask the security to help me locate my lost $1001.00 ticket. I understand it was my fault, but the security supervisor was disrespectful and rude and did absolutely nothing to help. Called Wisconsin dells location and they said that is not how they handle a situation like mine at all. Sure I would of liked to have found my money,but as a business owner myself. I would never treat anyone the way I was treated. Jaco Hanson was the security supervisor and if one of the guys that work for me ever treated one of my customers the he treated me, they wouldn’t have a job anymore. So bottom line is the staff that I dealt with last night was beyond satisfactory. And when I called this morning the staff wasn’t any better. Not to mention their was no one available to talk to until Monday. Which is crazy if you ask me. A business of that size has no one to handle a situation.It saddens me as a regular visitor to both locations that I will no longer be visiting the Madison location as it’s much closer for me. Other than the security staff I really enjoyed visiting that location. As I won big back in 2016. I hit 44,000 and was taken care of really well even offered to have security walk me to my vehicle to protect my winnings. 4 years later they tell me lost or stolen money is NOT their problem.

No smoking allowed is always appreciated. Wish they had more than just slots but always a fun time. Especially when you can manage to eek out a big win. Food is actually pretty good as well and they serve alcohol and soda!

Took care of hygiene in COVID 19. Distancing was ensured. A nice place to pass time. Dont have tables though.

Amazing! Had a blast! The relationship connecting with my father and I, in-between slotplay winnings and parking spot availability are what I live for knowing.

OK casino. No table games, only slots. Took all my money, $100, in about 20 mins playing minimal bets. Wouldve been better if they let me think I was winning a little before cleaning me out. Im guessing covid has caused them to tighten up their payouts. May stop again next time Im in the area but definetly wouldnt go out of my way to play there.

Terrible! I play too much but machines pay me no even my money back and someone sit my chair when I have no more money and the guy play Just $ 20 and he won $500! Too much tricks too much skills but is like they wont to pay for you...

Why do people complain about casinos if you would stay out of them then you wouldnt have to complain. Try complaining about life and society and stay out of the casinos

This casino is filthy and there machines are tighter then theyve ever been, the customers and some staff are rude. Im not unrealistic when it comes to losing at casinos however this one is extra. Its bad enough that they take all your money, its worse that they dont even give out free soda/ water. I think there just taking advantage of the situation. They will regret the way they are ripping off the customers when others are open completely.

Realize it is a slot machine only location but slots seemed tighter than another casino near Milwaukee

Been a long time since Ive been here, and wow has it changed! Decorations look nice, machines are pretty modern, and of course, a nicely stocked bar.

SLOTS only beeee-aware of this place they advertise its a casino but its a slot house.

Very safe place to go into...many safety precautions in place for guests.

Like better than Baraboo. Brighter and the machines seemed to pay off bettet

They were doing everything they could to keep people safe, my only complaint was not enough machine cleaning, there was lots of hand sanitizing solutions stations and some machines had guards up. Temp check upon entry and masks required.

Just reopened, everyone wearing masks, distancing, temperatures taken at door. One machine open per bank. Was able to play my favorite machine. People not complaining, seemed happy to be out. Even saw some people from the Dells casino. Well organized.

Never have i lost at every single game i played at any other casino. Had a uhaul truck since just passing thru, parking lot was over 60% empty and I parked as far away as possible and was far away from any other vehicle and went in. Got called to security and basically got chewed out for taking too many spots up.. they closed in 2 hours from that time and there were 60 spaces between me and the next car towards building that were empty. I will NOT ever be back to this place with their HUGE ego that makes no sense

Don’t go here just go to another casino. Total ripoff unless you have a horseshoe stuck up your backside. Rewards program is like a happy meal you don’t get anything for what you put into the machines. Lowest payout I have ever seen. Go to the one in Milwaukee much better odds and better rewards

Worst casino I ever been too, I went through $500 on one machine in 20 minutes without 1 bonus game today, all casinos are just rip-offs in my book because even if you win they just take it all back, youre better off investing in yourself than these greedy crooks who use your money you lose to pay their employees with your losses. It used to be fun to go here. You could at least win enough to stay and play for awhile. Now each time I go I lose my money within 20 minutes or have to spend big to stay awhile. I have no desire to return. It’s not worth the trip.Update: 6/06/20 When they reopened after the stay at home order expired I decided to go back mainly out of pure boredom. I expected the machines to be really tight but I went home a winner. It was a nice visit. I think they are handling the social distancing issue well. It was a little busy but I was still able to play what I wanted. I don’t expect to win every time of course but it was pretty bad for awhile. I’ll continue to go and see what happens.

This was one of my favorite places to gamble worth the drive, they have the most modern up-to-date machines I have seen around but with the coronavirus only less than half the machines open and too many guests not enough machines. If you want to come here wait till a virus stuff is over.

Food at the gamers grill was good. Our party had a salad, burgers, fries and onion rings. All pretty decent. Bathrooms not clean. Poor payouts on slots (played pennies, quarters and dollars). My money used to last longer here, but not the last few times Ive gone. Probably wont be back any time soon.

Close to home but if it wasnt, it wouldnt be my first choice of casinos. I used to call it the Walmart of casinos but it has improved since Ho-chunk took over. They still dont repair broken buttons on machines nor touch screen issues. They are taking very good precaution with covid29. They take your temperature and provide masks and sanitizer.

Great casino but wish you could still smoke while gambling... On the other hand they did build a heated smoking area... Awesome Awesome!!!!!

Decent enough food. Good gaming floor. I think it actually pays out more then the other establishment they have up in baraboo Wisconsin. But its as good as any place for gambling. Plenty of parking. I accidentally exited an exit and got lost. When I approached a worker and told him I was lost looking for the main entrance parking lot he stopped me from re-entering and made me walk across almost the entire building outside in the rain just now knowing I was pregnant. I almost called customer service but was too tired. That walk was tiring. If you’re pregnant or disabled please do not let an employee treat you this way.

Its a little hard to choose your machine because a lot of them are currently closed due to the covert 19 but it was fond in the staff was polite it was a nice break from the norm

Before Covid-19 Madison was my favorite casino even though its a longer drive. Post Covid-19 the machines are very tight (two consecutive and quick beat downs) and they are not providing free beverages. It would seem to me that Ho-Chunk management is sensing another closure. During the Covid-19 Carter, Keshena, Green Bay, and even Ho-Chunk Wisconsin Dells are better for both beverage service and play value. At this point Madison is about equal to Bowler which isnt necessarily a positive statement.

I drove an hour and half to get a room and celebrate my friends birthday,we decided to take shuttle and go to ho-chunk! On way back to hotel the shuttle broke down on major highway, we were stranded no lights or heat! Ho-chunk did offer 50 rewards play but refused to give me a room to be able to come back and use the rewards play! They did give the other person a room also! I cant drive at night because I have cataracts! I will never give hochunk Madison another $

Food was really good and slots were good to me.

Was doing just fine,had slipped the mask off my nose,some plain clothes security person came by and told,like a 2 year old. that is I took off my mask he would eject me from casino. he had no personality and piss poor customer service skills. long time,if ever. I will go back......

It has changed so much over the last years. I miss the way it was before. It was more spacious and laid back. In addition a couple of my previous favorite games are no longer there.

The best part about this casino is that it is smoke-free. It’s clean and there are lots of slots to choose from. People at the desk are very nice, as well are the security people. Unfortunately the soda machines and the restaurant are really subpar. I would not suggest planning your lunch or dinner there.

I must say that with all honesty this particular Ho-Chunk casinos slot odds kicks the s**t out of the Wisconsin Dells location. This is only my well-weighed opinion coming from having living in close proximity to this scandalous operation. Obviously my experiences could have easily been nothing more than a series of unlucky coincidences but I highly doubt it! The players odds at the Dells/Baraboo location have been absolutely dialed down. If you decide to visit that location, you better know a good orthodontist... because The house doesnt just win there. Oh no, after they win, theyll bust your teeth in! After destroying your enamel theyll provide you with dentures... only to smash them in and leave you at complete rock bottom. They dont just want a piece of your teeth or heart and soul + bank account, they want the Ho-Chunk!

Was told if I had a Wisconsin ID and had been a players card member even though my card is inactive as I haven’t used it in 13 months so I drove 47 miles to get turned away. Seemed rather silly to me so I called back the number I called BEFORE coming like it said to do. So I get a guy telling me oh no sir come back go thru main entrance we are making new cards even in your situation. So I said “are you sure three times and got yes sir. So I went back and nope wouldn’t u know it I can’t go In because I didn’t play with them enough??! Wow. I am giving a two only bc it is descent and I understand with covid 19 got to follow rules so he told me to come back tomorrow which is today. Don’t think so! Not driving again to get turned back I’m going to Oneida.

Non Smoking Casino, with outside facilities. Plenty of parking and handicapped accessible. Clean bathrooms. Does have a bar and restaurant if your interested, but no hotel attached. I went on a Saturday and it was busy!

Very attractive facility inside with great selection of slots but beware! These slots are tight, as per other reviews. I would look elsewhere if you want to enjoy yourself gambling and not feel like you’re being robbed. Disappointing visit overall. May give it one more chance but that would be it.

Worst casino Ive ever been to ... Waited 45 min (not kidding) for a burger and they got it wrong anyway ... Slots are TIGHT .. it was packed and I didnt see anyone winning . I lost 100$ min betting penny slots in less than the time it took to get my fn burger . My wife and I will not come back .. well stick to Milwaukee ... HORRID.. I dont expect to win . But at least have SOME enjoyment out of 100$....

If youve been to other casinos, you might be a little disappointed. If you want table games, dont bother to go here either. This casino offers a bar with relatively good drinks at a modest price & majority penny slots. You get $5 free play when you sign up & they offer promotions. Rather crowded with a lot of old folks frowning because they losing all their money. The security walks around like angry guards who failed the police test. Soda, ice, & coffee machine available. All in all, jackpot winnings was announced, the machines was tight. I won a couple dollars, broke even, & still left with the money I came. Not my type of casino, the ODDS not worth the loss. Ho-Chunk Gaming Madison is a great small-scale version of its WI Dells casino. Very clean, great amenities, a variety of gambling options. Its not a large enough area to have the beautiful hotel and amazing restaurants the Dells location provides, but is great for its size. My one complaint, and I do realize Im probably in the minority here, is that they changed it to a non-smoking facility. But I suppose thats probably a positive thing for the greater good.

Very fun. Really nice having a full bar. The only thing left now is to get rid of the bingo.
