Great venue for a concert, but holy cow does it need more bathrooms. We went to the Toby Keith concert and made the mistake of drinking anything before the show. This inevitably means you will have to hit the port-a-potty during the show. Block 30-40 minutes of waiting in line and assume you will miss a good chunk of the show. The fake grass turf is perfect for concerts and the sound is awesome.

Went to Breese Stephens Field for the Farmers Market today, always a great venue. The Astroturf is comfortable and and squishy to walk on. Little shade, bring your own sunhat or umbrella for portable shade. Parking in the neighborhood is always crowded, plan ahead and be willing to walk. Restrooms are as clean as they can be given the busy crowds. Highly recommend!

A historic stadium that has gotten some much needed updates. Now home to Madisons first professional soccer team Madison Forward.I went to a Forward game. I sat in the TDS Party Deck area right behind the goal. But there really is not a bad seat in the house. The food in The TDS area was very good. Wide selection to choose from. Baked potatoes, coleslaw, chips, and cookies. Very good beer selection as well along with soft drinks.Great to see the city of Madison putting investment and updates into a place that was not used much over the past few years.

Easy to find, although the one way streets typical of Madison makes it difficult to get to. Seats are bleacher style and somewhat comfortable, but nothing to write home to mom about. Pretty much just your typical stadium.

In August 2017 we came for Cheese Curd fest. It was really fun. There were food stands on the field that took credit cards. And there was live music playing the whole time. Huge improvements have been made in the last five years but theres still some room to improve, like the bleachers. Its a great place to visit while theyre having one of their many summer events and smack in the middle of everything. Only thing that can be a little difficult is finding parking so if youre able to bike or walk here its a much better option

The revitalization of this field has been really great for the near east side of Madison. I have been to quite a few different events here in the past couple of years. They have been slowly improving the bathrooms, concession options for events and keeping the stands and field really clean. The professional ultimate frisbee team Madison Radicals play their home games here. The stands fill up pretty quickly for them. Its great to see all the fans supporting their home team. The games are really energetic and lots of scoring occurs. The amazing throws and catches are really cool to see. They sure do have athletic talent! The Madison 56ers mens soccer team plays their games here too. They have a little smaller crowd at their matches, but they have a fun supporters section that loves to wave their flags, pound their drums and get their scarves up!Next March, Madisons brand new professional soccer team will play here. They are talking about another upcoming remodel project for the field. Not sure what they are going to update next, but Im excited to see that more events are coming to use the field.Sprinkled throughout the spring to fall season, theres a list of other fun events that are hosted here. Theres music concerts, food truck events, etc.One thing that can be a little problematic is the parking. The field does not have its own parking lot or ramp. Its in the middle of a neighborhood and most times you can get parking within 3-4 blocks of the field. We like to picnic and tailgate in Reynolds Field Park that is across the street from Breese Stevens Field. Theres a lot of space in the park to play frisbee, cornhole or catch with the kids.

This facility served as the site of the AUDL championship weekend and I think it served its purpose quite well. The facility was large enough to accommodate a healthy crowd, which made the games exciting. I will say the locker rooms leave a lot to be desired for the teams, but it wasnt a make-or-break issue. The location was ideal, in the heart of Madison with plenty of food and beverage options nearby. Parking can be an issue, but we were lucky enough to find parallel parking near the entrance but I wouldnt always count on that unless you arrive quite early.

Ma
Review №50

The now small handful of visits Ive made here have all been for non-sporting events including a farmers market, Cheesecurd Fest, etc. The field is large enough for these events with room to spare. The field itself is of great quality, however the one situation that could improve is parking in the area as it can fill quite rapidly. But honestly, once youre there, any bit of walking is well worth the quality of the field and the great views.

Excellent sports venue! The field is a bit cluttered due to having football lines and soccer lines. But it is easily adapted to both. The turf on the field is artificial, but is kept well, so it doesnt look worn, and there arent rubber bits all over the place.Great location for MUFA for ultimate Frisbee tournaments.Parking isnt ideal in the area. Youre usually better off parking on the south side of east Washington Ave and walking the few blocks there. Less hassle getting out as well.

I would give zero stars if possible... I have attended hundreds of concerts all around the country and this just might be the worst venue I have ever been to. They dont have enough bathrooms, concession stands or merchandise booths. I stood in line for 20 minutes at a beer station only to find out when I got to the front of the line that they had run out of beer. No signs informing that beer stations only take cash which is contrary to info on their website. The one merchandise booth had long lines and slow, incompetent cashiers. They ran out of the jacket i wanted but didnt make a note of it on the display so I waited for nothing. They allow attendees to hold up large signs and let girls watch the show while sitting on someones shoulders...both of which block the view of many other concert goers. No employees know any policies regarding waiting in line prior to gates opening, parking or smoking areas. Their website is also void of any info regarding these. The employees are rude and unhelpful. The only things that were good were the band and production but I wont credit the venue for that. Overall horrible venue. I wont return.. loo
