About everything imaginable....A stroll around the Lanier home, down to the river, up the river front, up Jefferson Street, around the courthouse, then back down Main Street to stop at the many homemade ice cream shops, coffee shops, browse antique shops, who can imagine a better afternoon, than to take in on all sides of ca. 1812 Madison, Indiana! And guess what? That was remembrance of last year... 2018!Madison Chautauqua 2019 is NEXT weekend ...Saturday and Sunday,SEP.28&29,2019! Make a point to come down and browse painters, sculptors, mixed media, metal workers, rustic toy makers, and a flea market at the other end of town around the courthouse! Antiques, collectibles, rocks, minerals, fossils, OUTSTANDING!

Wont be going back, NO PETS ALLOWED!I understand pets on a leash and people not be responsible for cleanup but, we have our small dog in a pet stroller.I guess if Madisons Art Group doesnt want pet owners to attend we wont. Will be looking for a pet friendly fall festival for 2020! Not in Madison, Indiana! Thanks for the lame response!Whats next, NO CHILDREN?

This Festival is one of the best juried arts events we at Rattlesnake Hill Farm have ever exhibited at.

Used to big art festival full of interesting arts and crafts. I suspected that since its too close to another well known St. James Arts and Crafts in Louisville, merchants as well as visitors opted out of Chautauqua.

More than 100 booths with artists who have been selected by a jury to participate in the show. Lots of good food trucks as well.

A few more places selling ice water, at a reasonable price. We would love it if Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other youth groups would do this. Im not a soft drink person, but others would like this too. Space them apart.
