The facility and the staff are magnificent . Very family oriented . The The time availability for use of the facility and it’s events are extremely accommodating . Always clean. The clients / guest that come are well mannered and friendly. The game area is another way to be active or wait for others to finish their routine and/or workout regimen. The staff is very friendly and informative , they encourage clients to take part in the event actives and encourage you to participate in what’s offered that may appeal to you, such as arts & crafts, gym work out, yoga, computer classes , basketball & tennis courts , swimming, soccer fields gazebos , etc. ; shower stalls are available too. Another thing I love about the staff is that they recognize each of us, they encourage you in your work out without any type of negativity. They engage in conversation with positive feedback. Oh what a wonderful way to promote wellness. The management staff stay on top of things, such as order as well as respect for one another . Now, there is only one suggestion I would like to mention. As clients / guests exit the center onto Houston Rd, the grass has grown up high and needs to be cut (on the right )it has become sort of a blind spot . The location of this facility is great, it has a very open & spacious area. You will meet people from Macon and Surrounding Counties. The building is beautiful and illuminated . What a blessing it is . Did I mention it’s “free to the public” come on out , the weather is really nice now. Pls note some of the classes have a small fee, but well worth it!

I absolutely LOVE this place! Lots to do and plenty of programs for the kiddos! I have both my children enrolled in acrobat and dance classes... but there are plenty of classes for adults too and they are EXTREMELY affordable! When my kids are doing their classes I usually workout on the gorgeous new equipment for FREE! And then I relax and enjoy the free WiFi until my kids are done! Big pool and more amenities coming soon! Definitely come visit this place!

Great New Facility ! Very Clean and easily accessible near newly opened Sardis Church Bypass. Swimming, Gym, and great workout equipment. Nice alternative to expensive Gym memberships.I only hope the public will respect it as well, help keep it clean and keep it family friendly.

Tennis center and splashpad are under construction, but coming along nicely. The main gym has been open 1yr and has something for everyone. Great staff and plenty of parking.

The staff are so friendly and helpful they make going there a joy. Chris and Daryl , and new employee Janet are an asset to this place. Equipment very good and no sounds except your own while working out. Really have enjoyed it

Really nice rec center, open to all.

My favorite thing about South Bibb is the FREE gym for the community. It has all the workout essentials- mats, kettlebells, free weights, work out machines, treadmills, ellipticals, etc. The rec center has an indoor basketball court gym, mirrored dance rooms with a ballet bar, and a computer room. There are lots of activities and classes going on throughout the week for all ages. The pool is great too. The deepest is 6ft 6 in, I think. There is a lot of shallow water for young children. They seem to be in the process of expanding on the property to accommodate more sports and activities. Im excited to see when its all finished.

Tried the pool yesterday and love it. You do need to bring your own chairs and umbrellas bc they arent provided like most pools. Was very clean and not too crowded.

People are so nice! I work out and my kid can hang out outside of the workout area playing or watching TV. I can hear and see my kid while I workout and staff always talk to us and are nice.

The facility was wonderful spacious great opportunities for seniors and families looking forward to being a part of it.

It is great. I try to go 3 to 5 plus times a week. All the employees are very nice and helpful and it is very clean.

Love it. Quiet and peaceful environment for a good work out.

Life guards arent as attentive as they should be and they dont really enforce the rules.

They have lost my business everytime I come up there they telling me the pool is closed are full we come early same thing. And tell me to go to another pool didnt even tell us any information had my kids disappointed and didnt even say it was other things to do there. I want be back.

Love the pool, has a dedicated side for kids(3ft and under) and a side for swimmers(up to 6ft) Plus lifeguards! The gym is nice as well And they just recently got WiFi so I can watch shows while I’m on the treadmill. Also all of the staff, lifeguards and people working inside are very nice and seem to have already formed a bond with my child. There is a nice sitting area (that will soon also be a game area as well) that my child can sit in and watch tv and play games while I workout and it’s right outside the workout area!
