Great place to skate in the mornings when its not too crowded, floor is very slick, will help your 360s turn into 540s which sometimes is good and bad. Cool vibes from the locals, have a good set of stairs, hubbas, rails, and a bank, personally my favorite. Check it out if youre in the area!

Open 5am-10:30pm everyday. Has lights but didn’t see them on. You can still kind of see at night without them. Well designed and built street plaza. No prison fences here. I would suggest putting metal at the bottom of the stairs and ends of ledges, similar to the edges of the ledges. Putting metal at the bottom of all stairs and ends of ledges, at all parks, from now on.

Rather small more aim for technical tricks. Different types of ledges. Some grinding rails. Small obstacle. For beginners to experience. Free parking, even a nice toddler playground park in case you bring your little friends. Not sure if there is a bathroom.

This park is phenomenal, you can tell it was built by skaters! Ledges are the perfect height for all skill levels, tons of fun 3 steps, and an easy 5 step. The locals here are chill, welcoming, and supportive of tricks you land. Great park for all levels, can get a bit busy but the smooth concrete is so worth it! I celebrated my birthday by visiting LA to check out skateparks with a friend and I’m so glad he brought me here.

I dont know where to start. Im not a street skaters, so I wont go on a long rant about the complete lack of transitions. If the locals like the design, thats NOMB. But it does bug me how the local skaters are discriminated against. This park is listed as open until 10pm. The signs in the park say 10:30pm.And yet, at 9:30pm on a Saturday, there are no lights running in the skate park. The locals continue to skate through 10 p.m. without lights just getting by on the incidental light from the tennis courts next door. The really frustrating thing is that there are 8 tennis courts with lights shining as bright as the sun at 10 p.m. even though the tennis court sign says they close at 9 p.m.The tennis courts are completely empty. So the city would rather waste hours and hours of electricity on tennis courts that are not even being used. But the half dozen skaters in the plaza are not even accommodated to the time listed on the sign. Now, of course there are cameras watching them from both sides of the skatepark. But providing light would cost too much?If this park wants to close at 9pm, then they should do it officially and alter all the signs. But they should be consistent and turn out the lights for the tennis courts and the empty soccer field. This is the same story I see in cities all over the country. Cities love to pat themselves on the backs during the ribbon cutting ceremonies for these skateparks. But actually supporting skateboarders is just too much effort for them.

Great circle rail.nice and long, very short, great for perfecting switch- UPS and new tricks. Everything else is square. Its all small. Cool thing is theres two thick square rails that go of a 3 by 3 so its fun to grinds the big side through the trees

Im an occasional skater and hardly use the quarters or rails, the place in between is large enough to do flatland tricks. For my taste a tad too slippery, though. You have to be very careful of your landings but it also allows for recoveries I guess, if you get used to it.

Open in July of 2010 the skate park was designed in part by Steve Berra of The Berrics. Partial funding came from the Annenberg Foundation and the LA Parks Foundation. This is an urban skatepark with plenty of rails, staircases, jumps, Etc. Many days during the month youll find professionals practicing and honing their skills at this park. Skaters come from all over the world to participate. The park averages roughly 250 people per day of all ages and backgrounds. It is attached to Westchester Recreation Center and is situated near the playground and gymnasiums. Located at 7000 Manchester Avenue. The recreation center has video security cameras throughout the facility. Helmets are not required but highly recommended
