A small open and cozy theatre. Highly recommended. The sound, the view and the environment is superb. There is no need to bring a binocular since its a small theater. You are able to bring wine, beer and food in the theater and enjoy your feast. At longest it fits below your seat. They really maintain the surroundings because I didnt see any trash laying around AND not one mosquito bite I got. At the end of the show you are able to meet the artists... great way to end the night! Looking forward to go again.

This concert was a an enjoyable event. The beautiful traditional mariachi music along with the some of the most beautiful and colorful costumes made for a spectacular evening. I would have preferred natural lighting of the stage and performers rather than a rainbow of unnatural colors like pink. Overall, I had a lovely evening.

Came for the Stranger Things Season 3 screening with a moderated conversation with David Harbour! The venue is beautiful! Parking onsite is tricky with their stacked car policy, even more challenging when time to leave. Lets just say it isnt a feat for the faint of heart! The upstairs dining had a decent selection but pretty pricey (i.e. 2 sliders were $9 and together did not make up or the size of a normal hamburger) and dinner for 4 (3 of which were kids) with no alcohol came to $77 - yikes! Patrons CAN bring in picnics and beer and wine which makes it a delightfully affordable option. Staff were over the top friendly and seemed genuinely thrilled you were there! Can not wait to return for another over the top event! Hard to top Stranger Things 3 screening 4 days before the release - pretty epic!

Beautifully designed unique theater in the Hollywood Hills. Gorgeous quiet setting you can hear the crickets in the surrounding trees. Delicious food at the patio cafes before the show. Stacked parking or free shuttle service from the Universal City Metro Red Line Station parking lot across from Universal Studios. Shuttle takes 10-15 minutes and drops you off at theater box office, so convenient!

I used to come here in the 80s and 90s for some great shows at a great venue. The recent renovation has completely changed the venue for the better. It seems more intimate and the sound is much improved. Parking is stacked, but a bargain at 12 dollars. Even with stacked parking, I was out of there in 20 minutes. I hope they bring more rock shows to this beloved venue.

Perhaps one of the best outdoor venues in LA. The Ford Theatres makes for a really fun experience for anyone. The modern and clean design venue is well staffed by volunteers, features two bars, a restaurant and a great view of the performance from anywhere. I enjoyed watching a concert here. The on-site parking is a bit of a hassle, as it is stacked parking. I recommend using LFYT/UBER from a nearby parking structure of street.

Our first time at the Ford to see Lila Downs. We left our car at Union Station and had an Uber drive us up. He could take us up tot he bottom of the hill where most of the other parking was at, and it was just a short hike from there. Suggestions wear comfortable shoes. I love that they have vegan options and tasty drinks. I am not quite sure how the picnic areas work, so if someone knows that would be great information to post.Beautiful and comfortable seating. And of course Lila did not disappoint, she was amazing along with all the artwork.

Its an antique outdoor theater set against a hillside, with new facilities added nearby. The programs are unusual and often exciting, and this Summer has been especially eventful. Access for people with mobility problems can be difficult, and the stacked parking can be frustrating. But for a taste of Hollywood architecture in the 1920s combined with ultra new music and dance, its a treat.

I came here for an Anna Wise + MNDSGN show and had a memorable time! The seats themselves are outdoor facing trees behind the stage, which looks amazing around sunset time and when colored lights are used. This place is very well kept and the staff was very helpful. There is a small convenience store inside the venue where you can grab a bite and drink before the show. Prices are decent. If you dont want to go that route, you can bring your own food and beverages. We brought in a tiny cooler filled with beers and had no problem taking them inside! One thing I would change next time I go is to park on the street just outside the venue, since on-site parking is expensive!

Theres not a bad seat in the house. You get the best parts of an outdoor summer concert without the crowd.Parkings a reasonable $12 (less if you carpool with 2 or more), you have to be patient because its stacked parking. Getting out involved doing a u-turn around parked vehicles. Once youre out it doesnt take long to go south. The only reason I dont take rideshare is the Ford is hard to find, and drivers get snarled in the Hollywood bowl traffic.

I actually didnt know this place existed until very recently. Its right near the Hollywood Bowl, tucked away across the street. But its much smaller. *Much* smaller. Its a very intimate -- theres only one section, and practically no bad seats. They also are very lenient with outside food and drinks, which is always a plus.It only has a few minor annoyances. First, the parking isnt great. You can get lucky and get a good spot, but its all stack parking. However, theblot clears out pretty fast. Second, the seats arent graded so much, which might make it difficult to see sometimes. Like I said, these issues arent really all that bad. Theyre definitely not deal breakers. All things considered, this place is a great concert venue. Beautiful architecture and scenery, and a great vibe.

My husband had foot surgery 6 days ago and was in a cast and on crutches but we couldn’t miss the Greta Van Fleet show tonight so we went. First, when we parked in the stacked parking and got out, the parking attendant asked us to get back in our car and helped us park in the very front for easier ADA access. There are a ridiculous amount of stairs just to enter however, right away we were directed to the ramp and the elevator. We got off the elevator to find the line to sit going all the way back down the stairs. A gentleman in a Securitas outfit stood next to my husband and my husband asked, so do I now have to go back down the stairs to wait in line? He said unfortunately yes. Then a Ford staff member named Daisy took care of us all the way. She let us in before anyone else so that we could find a seat without having to wait in line on the stairs. We ended up in the front row for my sons first concert. After the show, Daisy found us and helped us get to the ADA cart area so that my husband could ride down the hill back to our car. Thank you Ford for having the absolute friendliest and helpful staff and for giving my family an exceptional experience!
