Lots of fun here. Staff practices social distancing and makes effort to enforce this with visitors. You will go picture-taking crazy. The rooms are clean and very colorful. Fun for adults and children alike. Purchase tickets on their website, as it is much cheaper.

Kind of a waste of money unless you have children. Its basically just 3 rooms (2 floors but just big empty space so really just big rooms) with murals that you can take pictures with for 30 bucks. Its cool but only worth maybe 10 to 15 at most

My friends and I purchased tickets online. For the 2-3pm session. We arrived at 1:48.We were told, in regardless of tickets, we had to wait in the line. The line was 4 blocks long. We waited and at 3pm, we left because our session expired and we were no closer to the front. We came back later that night and the line was still long. I called today, to get my money back and the slow sales manager told me that the tickets aren’t a guaranteed entrance and because we got out of line, he can’t give us our money back. How doesThat even make sense? What’s the purpose of pre ordering? To still wait for 4+ hrs. When you purchase, there’s nothing online that’s says entry isn’t guaranteed and that you must wait in line and stay there for 5hrs. Who wants to spend their whole vacation waiting in line? What’s the purpose of the sale of tickets for a certain time frame if you can’t walk up and walk in?

L didnt know what to expect when I was invited to join my friends on a roadtrip to LA. We stopped at Museum of Illusions and glad we did.The museum was actually pretty cool with artwork on two levels.TIP: Follow the signs where they tell the photographer to stand etc. It will make the photo even better.Parking can be tough in LA but glad there was a parking garage next door and not a far walk.We walked in and paid for our entrance. When we visited, there was a Yelp discount so be sure to check Yelp before paying. There are a lot of art work to be creative with. Stand in line and wait your turn. We had so much taking photos of each other.Overall, a great place to be with friends and laughing at how the pics came out made it even a better experience. Fun place...

It was a FUN experience even if as the Happy Place and the Ice Cream Museum it was crowded.PRO: They let you go back!!!!!! Even if you go in an another room to take pictures, you can go back in the previous one when there arent many people which was a good thing because in the end people understand that and there is less chaosAll the rooms are Painted! Those were not just props but real painters by artists. You can RENT a tripod which I did and I dont reccomend because it is a pain to take along

I highly would recommend this museum if your visiting California I really had a fun time, there were many different photos that I have taken but here is a few that i really enjoyed me and a group got a deal on group the place was very clean and really nice the only thing is i wish it was a little bit bigger i think the selfie museum and the illusion museum would have been perfect together if you came on a day like we did it was not very busy we finished the whole museum in a little bit over a hour. They also have tripods for you to take professional pictures. Overall i would highly recommend anyone to visit this location.

This place is really awesome to go to get interesting and fun pictures. Kids will love it, especially pre-teens & teens (gives em great insta pics and whatnot). The young handsome photographer goes around helping everyone with directions and tips & tricks to help you get the best pictures possible. So the museum is pretty fun. It was way too long of a wait when we bought our tickets in advance. I think they should just stick to time windows for everyone so it would be organized. Review №57

Im so torn on this, the photos turn out great with edits and cropping, HOWEVER, The place has one of the worst set ups Ive seen and is definitely overpriced because of that reason. The exhibits point or reference shooting marks over lap with other exhibits, people are crossing into eachothers shots and delays EVERY shot. The set up creates a tense and rushed experience. The upside down room has no examples to help and has no fans or wind to help blow the hair and clothing around which will not make any female photo look authentic. If they didnt charge so much and if they made the experience more pleasing and less stressful, Id be on board. My advice to the museum would be to add fixed tri-pods at points of the shooting angles, so people didnt jocky for position and rush shots. The over lapping of exhibits is BIZARRE. You can not take a picture when another exhibits POV is in your exibit. If you go, off peak times would be the ONLY way to truly enjoy yourself. With that said! We got some amazing shots. But BEWARE of the times to go!Photos 4.5☆Experience 2☆Total 3☆

Really cool! Sure its just drawings on the walls for taking photos but...the artwork is really art and you get to be in it! The scenery is very creative and interesting. It is well worth it and we all had lots and lots of fun trying different poses. There are small plates showing examples or how to take the photos and also camera positions marked on the floor. So they make it very easy to get good shots. In fact, you can even hire their own photographer to accompany you. I recommend going when there is not much of a line and give yourself an hour or so. Maybe a little more for a group of 5. Dont miss this attraction!!

The idea of the place is very appealing but actually being there is an underwhelming experience. Went for a VIP experience with a personal photographer. The place is way too small for the price. Two people for $50 plus an additional fee to rent a selfie stick! My teen daughter enjoyed it and would give more stars, but I paid, so Im providing the review Lol. Its a great place to get cool pictures, but I expected it to be bigger. It gets crowded & every one is in the way of someone trying to take a picture. I also expected it to be more than just some painting on a wall, although cool, there still just murals, which are everywhere in LA! If it were bigger or cost less, Id give it more stars.

You can move freely between the pics. At the time we went it wasnt crowded at all. Went on a Friday around 2pm. There was a worker that was walking around and will help you with pics.
