All the ticketing staff is very kind and friendly to all the customers. The seats in the cinema are great and I would do visit once again in your theater. The screens are big. The audio and visual sounds are clear. They gave us free pop corns. I had fun watching the movie!

Nice theater with a restaurant and bar on one of the floors. Loved that we could order food and take it with us in the movies. Watched Jumangi opening night and it was really good. Clean theater.

We are so lucky to have this gem in the City and I live so close I can walk over. The type of presentation the Castro offers is something that doesnt exist in movie theaters anymore. The pre show organ concert, the use of curtains and lighting and a real live projectionist up in the booth are things you wont find at the chains. Also the Castro is capable of 35mm, 70mm, and 4K digital projection.

Cinemark 18 and XD is a beautiful venue! I came here to watch The Moth. The seats are comfortable and theres great sound. The interior is lovely, with gold decor and an elegant set-up. The bathrooms are really clean too. There was a speedy process to enter the theater so it wasnt too chaotic. There are long lines for the bathroom though which sucks (there are so few restrooms!). They also sell popcorn and other snacks but dont expect anything more than that.

Amazing complex theater. Had the world premiere for History channel mini series Texas Rising with cast and crew. Top notch amenities. Great for all move going occasions.

Uhhmmm, I only want to see movies here for the rest of my life. Of course this may be a little difficult seeing as how I live in LA, but a girl can dream right? Im encouraging advancements in teleportation just so I can come here every Friday night.

Wow! Have times changed! The last time I went to the movies I believe I saw, The Help and I really dont think I saw all of it cause I always fall asleep no matter if the movie is good or not. Excellent location. It has parking attached with good price. If you arrive in advance I suggest you go up to the upper lobby. They serve fast food, hamburger, beer, coffee, with an excellent brownie with vanilla ice cream. Comfortable tables and excellent service. Modern cinema with many dalas and options of films and schedules. My kids love it ... I recommend.

Wonderful little cinema not far from LAX. Great option for snacks and tasty, fresh popcorn, variety of fizzy drinks and sweet stuff))Could be great if it was in the mall. While you are waiting for your movie to start you could at least hang out in the shops. We had to wait for 2 hours before the movie started and got bored just sitting inside waiting.Friendly staff, thanks)

I remember when this theater first opened up. It was a refreshing addition to area. Over the years, its remained a favorite theater for myself and my family. I love the fresh salads and other offerings at the bar/restaurant! The new remodel of the entire Howard Hughes center gives this theatre a very nice and welcoming vibe. Hope this place is here for many,many years to come!!

$3 for 3 hrs parking with validation, currently under construction.You have to turn right when entering the parking structure and drive all the way to the end to pay near the stairs and elevator. Then you go out to the street, follow the signs along the right side of the building and eventually up escalators and around another corner to enter the Cinemas.Parking validation is to the left just inside the entrance and ticket machines are just to the right.

About as comfortable a place you can watch a movie outside of a proper home theatre. Good flick, good service, and way too salty buttery popcorn. Those are good things! Only issue was I fell asleep lounger seating and missed some of the movie. Good trade for excellent comfort.

Its a great experience for me! The seats are good and comfortable! Recliner seats are really superb not like cheap Indian theater! They are maintaining their name . Hats off!

My friend & I took a little girl to see Super Mario in XD, not really a good idea. The seating was weirdly designed & made me uncomfortable. I think the same for the 3year old I took as she kept getting out of her seat. I knew something was wrong because shes normally sits quietly unless she has to go to the restroom. The pop orb & cheese pizza w/jalapenos were good, though.

A Hot lava girl helped me out. She was so nice and patient with me! best customer service I ever received she went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of!!! thank you yuliana! You rock.

This is one of my favorite theaters. Seats are comfy and staff is super helpful and friendly. Even on a Friday night its not super packed and you dont have to be driving around for 20min trying to find a parking space. Great food to eat around the theater too.

While the theaters have good projection and sound, I have yet to visit this highly visible complex when it was looking like an abandoned dump! Very badly designed concessions with lines that are so long, you are almost guaranteed to miss the beginning of your movie. Try Cinemark Playa Vista for a better experience.

Nice theater. Really like how you get to pick your seat when you purchase your movie tickets. Sound was good too.

This theater is clean and spacious. There are many theaters. It even has a bar and restaurant. It is a very comfortable place

When this place first opened in the early 2000, was nice and quite and never had a problem with people disturbing your movie experience. Years later it turn into a horrible place to watch a film. The movie goers here don’t respect the movie experience at all. People will literally have phone conversation during the movie, talk amongst themselves as if they’re in their own living room. The only time I go to this theater is for their IMAX screen, but you still get the same bad experience, but a little less of it due to the higher ticket cost.

Comfortable seating, very loud adult patrons that dont know the phrase excuse me, the sour patch candy was stale expiration said 8/2020. They need to do better they know its already overly priced keep it fresh I returned it all the candy on display was old. No bueno

A local theatre in a upcoming upgraded retail mall. This theatre had all the latest movies but parking can be expensive. The theatre itself is old and most of the theatre seats are small, uncomfortable and broken. The sound and visual quality is on par with other theatres. The bathrooms are dirty all the time, and unsantiary. Being a Cinemark monthly member, the price for popcorn and other snacks become reasonable. This is usually my backup to the Cinemark in Playa Vista.

Worst Movie Experience Ever! Filthy restrooms and disgusting snack area. I understand the remodeling may be cutting into their profits but DAMN hire a few extra people and stop running Skeleton Crews nust to turn a quick buck.

The theatre is huge and comfortable, but the lines are massive. We ended up waiting fifteen minutes to get a drink at two separate places and had to give up otherwise we would have missed the start of our movie.

Havent been to the movies in years ! But we came to this theater to enjoy cars 3. Film was good sound was great snacks were easily accessible plus bar is available definitely come here to enjoy the movies there is construction going on hopefully it looks better then before

Went to see Sonic the hedgehog on dBose. Totally not worth it and we even got the tickets for free. The movie was great, but the seats sucked and were uncomfortable and the place was super dirty. The seats we sat in were the motion seats that emerse you into the movie by moving but they were so old and the upholstery on them was tearing and they looked dirty. I was excited to experience the dbose experience but it was a disappointment. I think kids would enjoy it more. It felt more like one of those video game chairs from chuck e cheese

I took the time to checkout this spot i have never been I wish I could of stayed for a movie but I was on my lunchbreak I went to the downstairs area and saw I believe management she made sure I was helped, employees were cleaning up since it was a Sunday night....One of the guys called me over he was very nice and provided me with options ..I ordered a junior size popcorn;was tempted to try the hot dogs, although my mind was on cocktails since I saw the sign....he provided me with directions and I was able to find The BAR area!!I immediately took a seat checked out the drinks decided to go with............A bloody Margarita!!The bartender was on ithe had my drink ready n charged- in no time which was perfect..I downed my drink n left took my pics looked around and i liked it i will definitely be returning ...so what did i like? It was xclean... employees nearby for assistance..my toe is broken so elevator and escalator made it alot easier for me, prices were fair for theatre prices...oh yea n my drink was on point! not to sweet not to strong... just right to give me a good rfeeling; I feel good..Guys check this spot out I reccomend it

Hands down the worst movie theater I have ever been to. Under staffed and filthy. Even the floor near the concession was filthy. There was popcorn scattered on the floor everywhere and the theater was not even cleaned when we entered to watch our movie. There will still old soda cups in the seats when we entered or theatre.

Well I invited my birthday Libra boy to watch the new Joker movie and even though customer service was nice ... We got trapped between a mass crowd and no air conditioner... I mean the room wasnt full just everyone sat right in the middle area and it was hot and stuffy...i started to sweat! Oh well at least my date loved the movie! Wont go back. Sadly

Fabulous to finally see the renovated version of HHLA. But it does seem a little bare with a fair amount of unused space. Hopefully they have something planned tho fill up the space. But overall it was an experience after a very long time of renovations

The movie experience with Cinemark at Howard Hughes is always a pleasure. From the concession stands to the cinemas. Seats are comfortable and the stadium seating makes any seat in the house the perfect spot. And their bar/restaurant is a major plus. Once the construction is complete this location will be an awesome place to watch a movie and/or dine!

This movie experience was fantastic! The moving and vibrating seats in sync with the action on the screen was awesome! It has ruined watching anything without it! I cant wait to see what it can do for football games, if thats even possible. How about driving at Indy or Tha Ring in Germany?

Ive going here for a long time. Before six pm the theater is normally empty, so theres plenty of sitting! Clean and a heart place to watch a movie.

Great Location. Ever since they redesigned it looks more cool. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby just to hangout after or before the movie.

I always go here with me and my family. We live nearby and it’s so easy parking might cost one or two or three dollars.

One validation machine for a whole theater. Tsk tsk. This theaters parking validation gives a whole 20 cents off your parking... And has a single validation machine in the lobby for 18 theaters. Ummm... The seating is done by letter/number - yet rows are not identified by letter and numbers are printed on the seat... So finding your seat is impossible. They have one ticket taker letting people in the door, yet she cant scan digitally purchased tickets. You have to scan your phone at a kiosk and print out a piece of paper. This theatre is riddled with common sense issues which badly need to be solved.

Several movie showings and affordable tickets, however, it has cheap seats and dirty theaters. Popcorn is strewn all over the floor every time I visit so I doubt that the theaters are cleaned regularly. Parking validation is only for 20 cents, so it costs 2.80$ for 3 hours parking which is not too bad. Definitely prefer the AMC’s over this.

This post is for my last visit when I came to see Captain Marvel. I had issues with paying for my food from the restaurant in the theater complex. Even though Im a movie club member which gives me 20% off food and drinks in the restaurant and at the concession locations, I wasnt able to pay for my food with my gift card, which acts like a credit card. I use it to pay for my movie tickets and my food and drinks at the concession locations, but for some reason they said I couldnt use it to pay for my food from the restaurant, even though I had already received the discount AND had used it before to pay for food that I picked up without seeing a movie. Long story short, we missed about 30 minutes of Captain Marvel, I had trouble at the concession location getting food, and then the ticket taker wanted to argue with me about the movie not being in 3D (I always get Real D, 3D, D-Box seats); he didnt want to give us our 3D glasses. After the movie was over, I then had to argue about getting 2 passes instead of just 1. What a way to treat a dedicated customer, Movie Club member and senior.

I like coming to this movie theater .I buy my tiquets on there web site and dont have to make line. They also have different restaurants. Its my spot when We come with family

I love this place. I watch mostly all my movies here as the cinema experience is really good. The mall has been having renovation going on for quite sometime now but that hasnt stopped me from going here

My husband took me to go watch US and we enjoyed how empty the theatre was. We went during matinee hours and there were only 4 other people in the theatre with us when the movie started.The only draw back to going early was that the ticket windows were closed and we had to wait in a line inside to buy our tickets or use the ticket kiosk. We opted for the kiosk and it malfunctioned a bit so me had to switch kiosks.

Im an AMC guy but since I was in the neighborhood I decided to go see a movie. They advertise a student discount but since it was a spur of the moment decision my daughter didnt have her school ID. Well mo student discount for her.

Usually in the theatre within minutes after parking. Super easy and also clean.

THANK YOU for all the wonderful Bollywood (Indian) films you keep showing, I love coming back to watch them all, even though Im not Indian American nor do I understand Hindi or Tamil, etc, but I read the subtitles and I really love the good ones, so please continue to show more excellent Indian films and Ill keep coming back! And it would be wonderful to add a couple Indian items to the bar menu upstairs, just a suggestion.

RACIST workers. My husband and I tried to pay with $100 and apparently it was fake So we went to the closest bank and checked IT WASNT FAKE. Horrible customer service and the Dbox seats kept on not working TWICE. So we had to watch another showing of the movie.

Was okay. Nothing really stand-outish about the theater. It was a little unnerving when I walked into the movie room 30 min ahead of schedule, as Ive done before, only to find the screen was not on. It made me feel like something was wrong, like I was in the wrong room or something.

Its a nice theater but the construction is getting a little old. I feel like the remodel is taking to long. It has been over a year. Its a total maze to walk from the parking lot to the theater.

Due to construction around us had no problem going to see movie! Good service and clean. Wish some people would not talk during the movie or had cell phone on!!
