Beautiful recital Hall on the west side of UCLA campus in the music building. Lots of weekly recitals and concerts; check the UCLA bulletins for the music department for upcoming events.

Beautiful campus, parking pretty convenient (once we figured out we needed to follow the green “P” signs!). The acoustics were good, but not great. We were in a multi-purpose theater, so the seating was comfortable but not luxurious

Very nice concert hall for an academic (university ) setting. It is located in a relatively sterile school building with various rooms for classes and music practice.

Schoenberg Hall has a lot of potential for students at UCLA, but it is really a pain to try and practice here. UCLA does not have enough resources for those trying to learn musical instruments, the piano in particular. It is absurdly hard sometimes to find a room to practice in, and Schoenbergs hours are ridiculously short. It closes much too early. I should be able to go down at 10:00 pm if I want to go and practice; God knows the music rooms on the hill are NEVER open. It wouldnt hurt anybody for me to just tinker around on the pianos later at night. Its not like Im going to steal something or break a nice grand piano. While Schoenberg is an absolutely essential part of UCLA as it is one of the only places that offers pianos to practice on, it does a terrible job at that.

Had a couple of events here. One was a graduation type ceremony and the other was a variety show. The acoustics were on point and the seats were as comfy as I had hoped.
