They were very helpful. I needed a specific fabric for a project and the staff was quick to help me find what I needed. Overall they were friendly and provided exactly what was needed. Recommended!

I was looking for a specific piece of framing hardware that I could not figure out the name of and couldnt find online. I pass this place on the way home so I figured why not give it a try. The woman on the phone was as nice as could be & super helpful, was able to figure out what I was describing in a couple of minutes and though it turned out they dont usually sell them, she said she could offer me the extras they had in their drawer! Ultimately I found a big quantity online so didnt want to clean out Ballards supply, but thanks a ton for going out of the way & will definitely consider going there if I ever need framing done. :)

Ballards is awesome for framing. I recently got a piece framed here that turned out gorgeous and even better than I had hoped. Aaron Ballard is a true artist and gave great guidance on which frame/matting would look the best.

My husband had four artworks and he wanted them to hang up on our walls so we looked for a framing shop nearby and we found Ballards artwork framing which is only a few blocks away from our apartment. We came here and let them see my husbands artworks. We let them decide if what frames are perfect for the artworks. We asked everything we had to ask and they answered us in a caring and timely manner. That was a great customer service!They told us to get the frames after two days and so we did. We were amazed with their work. The frames were finished on time. Beautiful custom framing and they looks classier. Perfect for our walls. They even asked us for a much less price. Weve finally found the people whom we can trust with our artworks.We will definitely be back.

Great framers, helpful staff with a strong aesthetic sense to help find the right frame for your artwork. I have had several pieces framed here and they are beautiful and professionally done. But, its expensive. Framing is expensive in general, but I would have more work done here if they gave better discounts for artists.

This is my favorite place to get things framed. Everyone who works here is knowledgeable and pleasant, and they are all willing and able to make sure that you get a great frame for any piece that you bring in. I wont pretend that the prices are the lowest in the area, but I also dont believe in going cheap when it comes to showing off art. The selection of frames and mats is unparalleled.

The best service and most artistic solution to my four oil paintings that needed to be framed. The price was also extremely reasonable. In fact, I think they should raise their prices for the level of craftsmanship. The only downside was their one location in Echo Park but now theyve opened this second location in Pasadena!

Youll think youve stepped into small town America and not a shop in the middle of Los Angeles at Ballards. Ive had posters framed for work here and was given many options to make each project unique. A definite recommend over any chainstore frame merchants.
