I came here for a fun team building activity with my office, and it was so much fun! My group made a bowl, and let me just say I will never judge expensive pottery ever again. It was not easy but it was such a fun experience. I want to go back and sign up for their 6 or 12 week courses to learn more about pottery and how to actually not suck at it.I highly highly recommend this spot for a fun team building event or a private party.

I just finished the 6-week Intro to Wheel class with Ian yesterday. It was honestly the best money Ive spent in years. Ian was really patient and empathetic, and the experience of learning how to make cups and bowls was awesome. Ive already signed up to do the class again and cant wait to come back.

I took the Intro to Wheel class at Mission Renaissance The Bay and absolutely loved it! Take the class with Ian if you can -- he is an amazing instructor. He was able to explain things very clearly, was super encouraging, and made it fun -- even for beginners. Would highly recommend this class!

Our team did a one hour team building wheel throwing class. It was super fun and thanks to our instructors help, everyone had a piece at the end of the session. The space was great and the Clay By The Bay staff were well-organized.

Julia was such an amazing instructor for a first timer like me with no talent! I learned a ton and have a little more self esteem around my artistic ability! Thanks Julia!

I took a one time Mission Renaissance and pottery wheel class in Feb 2020. My hands have not touched clay in a few decades so essentially it felt like my first time.

Just back from Thats My Jam, a canning 101 class taught by nicole from Farmlicious. This is my first class with workshop so I didnt know what to expect. Class was scheduled for 2.5 hours we ended up finishing an hour early. It was a very hands on class, however we did skip over some steps for the sake of saving time. It was really informative. I think this class is must if youre thinking about starting canning. I learnt lots more from this class than from the internet/jam cookbooks. At the end we all got to take home a jar of organic peach and cherry jam!
