So I live in Oregon and was shopping for some fine leather things for the apocalypse. I called t the store and spoke to Mason back and forth for a few days. he really helped me big time. I pretty much had the style set for the 2 harness I wanted. he was very helpful.my harnesss arrived today. happy any excited to try them on.. i had mine custom orange and black hardware Halloween flavored.. my hubby double black. my Gods it fits like a glove. RTG went above and beyond what I imagined any company would do. Ill buy another set in reverse once the first settles after the virusthe orange is actually orange which is the exact shade of orange I was hoping forHalloween pumpkin orange

This place has the most abysmal, dishonest customer service. I had a problem with an order I placed July 4th and the problem was their fault. They ignored my email and they read but ignored each Facebook Messenger message I sent. When I called, their voicemail picked up saying their mailbox was full. After I finally reached someone, I got nothing but BS. They still havent made my order right , theyre giving me the run around and they blatantly lied to me while on the phone. Looking at a couple of other recent reviews, looks like this is now their standard business practice. Beware. They now can deal with the chargeback from my dispute with Amex.

I bought my first harness here. They were so helpful. Will definitely come back to increase my leather collection

Was in town for a short period and pickup 2 great harnesses. Very friendly staff.

Abysmal customer service. Especially the guy upstairs who seems upset you dare to bother him with questions. He takes his sweet time to help you and gives you attitude as if he is doing you a favor. Judgemental looks and childish giggles. He will talk for hours with someone else while ignoring you. Go somewhere else.

The gear is good quality (and most of all what I wanted hehe ) , sizes are ok.ATTENTION EUROPEAN BUYERSIf you are buying online to be delivered expect to pay high tax import ( at least IN Germany) had to pay around 50% on the price in taxes.

My preferred place to shop. Friendly people, great selections of toys and a lot of leather. Could live in this place.

Its a great place to get some gear, usually have a pretty good selection. Pretty good with customer service in my experience. Always a pleasure.

If you are into the leather scene, then this place has everything you could possibly need, want and desire. Leather scene posers and hard core leather masters will all find just what they are looking for. They carry leather wear from well known larger manufacturers as well as individually hand crafted leather wear. This place isnt just about leather wear though. Just about anything a master might need to satisfy his and his slaves BDSM requirements can be found here as well. Accessories galore to say the least. One stop leather and BDSM needs comes at a price though. This place is not inexpensive but you do get what you pay for and their merchandise is generally of a higher quality than other similar businesses.

Really terrible after sales service. Never reply to messages, emails, Facebook messages. Never return phone calls.Ordered gear a month ago. They forgot to despatch it for two weeks and only sent it after several emails and phone calls. Then the order never appeared on the USPS tracking service. Its been a month since I ordered and still dont have the goods. And dont know if or when Im going to get them. Pretty awful when Ive spent nearly $600 including $80 on postage.My advise is if youre ordering on line, go somewhere else!Cant comment on the quality of the gear as Im not sure if Ill ever see it

I hate to give this firm one star as /some/ of the folks there appear to be trying really hard (and the person who handled me was really nice) but I had a very negative experience. I hope Rough Trade Gears owners read this as I would like to shop here again with better results.Jessica-- the manager-- needs to actually make sure her goods ship, that they arrive less than a month late, that she has goods to ship and/or that customers are notified that certain items are out of stock and will/will not be reordered. If an item is permanently out of stock or will not be reordered soon, the customer needs to be contacted with the details of the delay/cancellation and allowed to choose whether to wait or accept a refund from there. They should not have to call multiple times for minimal information and a refund offer. From what I gathered from my calls, the online orders staff has almost no power to ensure customers receive their products. That power lies with the manager, who seems to care less about completing her transactions.The other staff are very polite and prompt but if the manager cannot muster a single response to a very polite, understanding inquiry over a severely late order, then you have problems.I imagine RTG is great in person but dont buy anything you cant walk out of the store with.

Staff some friendly and others are useless. Great stuff but Spoiled by Mr. S in SF. Prices are very high
