Lots of fun things to do at the ridge. Rock climbing, swimming, basketball, track, dance and racquet ball. Great playground out front for kids. Make sure you look at the swim schedule that way you can visit when the water feature and slide are on. The big slide is fun and also the lazy river. The rock wall also looks like a blast. Dont forget to check out the programs they have available. Would highly recommend.

We come here often with the Scout Troop. We love the climbing wall and the prices are much cheaper than a climbing gym. Once you take the belay class you can climb on your own. The pool staff is always willing to let us use the safety equipment for water rescue training.

This place has tons to offer. You can go swimming, play basketball, run the track, mountain climb and so much more. These locker rooms are clean and inviting. This wonderful location has the choice of three different pools. The Ridge has a warm therapy pool, a large lap pool and all the kids favorite a childrens pool. This place is friendly on the wallet and loved by the whole family. So much is offered here that it makes you want to go everyday.

Safe area for kids to have fun in the pool. As a parent im happy they can touch everywhere.

My son has been sliding on the big slide for two years. He has passed every swim test thrown at him. He had his 8yr check up two days ago and measured 48 tall. After two years of sliding on the big slide he is now being told he cant go on it and he is being told he is too short. This makes zero sense. We wont be returning when every other foothills pool will allow my child to slide since he has passed every requirement.

Its a nice little gym. I love the speed bag area. Love it when no one is there so I can use all machines

Very disappointed in the child care program here. Dont even bother coming if your child requires more assistance like sensory processing, behavior etc... Even if it is in the smallest form. They will kick you out so fast you wont even get a chance to form a plan. We were bullied out of leaving this program when my child was 3. We were in the process of getting her help. Amber and Jonah are bullies and manipulative. I inquired today 2 year later about a summer program and was told my child is a danger to others and is not welcome back to foothills programs ever. What a harsh punishment for a child. I think this program needs looking at. I feel my child was mistreated and neglected here. My child had no problems prior to or since with teachers. Yes she has very mild developmental issues but thrives now. I think my daughter was telling me she was being mistreated with her actions.

Honestly me and my friend came here during the summer and it’s the best. it’s filled with water and fun. Me and my friend like going in the really deep pool, we love the diving boards, my friend loves the slide. It’s a greAAAAt please.

Clean and well maintained facility. Close proximity to the ice rink making options for ice skating, rock climbing (indoors), basketball, racquetball, swimming, and a workout all available in one space. Rooms to rent for parties and events! There is even child care available before and after school as well as all day care for the little ones. Great playgrounds and some open space as well.

The lifeguards look like they are bored out of their minds and are about to fall asleep-

WARM shower rooms... excellent, considerate, & smart, running the heater in the locker rooms! Of all the many gyms & recreation centers I have been to, all over the country, this is --the only-- place that does not run the freaking cold air conditioner throughout the shower rooms. Always so miserable having to hurry up & get dry, because the locker rooms are so cold. No hot jacuzzi :( but they have a really cool big, warm, therapy pool, I really enjoyed it. Great place, nice facility with plenty to do!

We have really enjoyed living so close to this rec center. They have a great indoor pool (even though its super cold), wonderful class offerings for kids, and also great birthday pastry packages! Too bad they wont let me walk the track while my kids are in their registered classes. Im already paying $90! Sheesh!

After going to the Silverthorne rec. center, the Ridge is very disappointing. The kids pool is always cold. Our son only lasts about 30 mins until he’s shivering and wants to leave. They won’t let kids on the big slide unless they’re really tall and the plethora of teenage lifeguards aimlessly wandering around are always quick to tell you you’re doing something wrong. Maybe if they warm up the pool, open the slide to whoever wants to use it, dump some lifeguards, and lose the attitude. All while realizing this is a rec. center so it’s supposed to be a fun place to go. They might leave the barely mediocre category!

Love taking my nephew here for a swim. Only complaint is there lockers dont take several kinds of locks. I had to buy a lock that would work so we didnt have to take our items with us everywhere. Great place to bring the entire family.

Great setup,The kids pool is too cold! I asked others and they were cold also.Turn up the heat some and it would be great!

This is a good place to bring the children. They have learned to swim and play games here. It gives me a chance to relax. There is a rock wall for climbing, racket ball court, basketball court, a track for running and much more.

Large pools (one with a 2 story slide!), a rock wall, 2 racquetball courts, 2 basketball courts, a running track, and a few exercise machines, in addition to all of the classrooms! What more could you want? And if you say an ice rink or a large workout room, then check the buildings next door. ️

Good racquetball courts but NO VENTILATION! Its always hot on the court with no air movement. :/Awesome facility for everything else though.

We took 2 of our children here as babies for swimming lessons in the heated(therapy) pool. We take all 4 of them here for swimming when the Ken Caryl pools close for the season. We plan to bring our kids here for art, dance and sports.

They just dont have enough lifeguards and which some things are not open as scheduled

Uggh, locker rooms for the pool area were atrocious. All of the kids activities in the pool area are broken or missing parts, water is freezing, and the staff is very rude. For the price you pay a year, I would think they would at least have the place clean and the activities for the little kids in working condition. Did the prior owner of Fun City become the new maintenance manager her, or something?

Love it here. I think the rates are a bit high even for district members but the facilities are immaculate.

Regina the pottery lady was so unhelpful and rude. She was unwilling to give me any information and just kept telling me to go online. Obviously I had questions that you didnt answer online and then when I called she was extremely rude and condensing. Its crazy how mean people are when they cant answer your questions or when they actually have to do their job! Oh my gosh! I wont waste my time with such negative Nancys!

Clean. Different pools for little kids, walking river, lap pool, therapy pool. This place is great.

This facility is very clean and easy to find your way around. The employees are helpful.

The hours of operation are not very conducive to my family. They close super early on weekends and the kids pool apparently doesnt open until 12 on Saturdays. They have an entirely different building for the weight lifting (across the street) even though there is pleanty of room in the main building. It is very obvious this place is subsidized by tax payers because the people running it have no business sense.
