Beaver Park was the first park I brought my daughter too when we moved to Maine 4 years ago and it continues to be a staple for outings and a favorite. There are hiking trails located throughout the whole park, some have workout equipment located at the trailhead. Multiple spots around the lakes so you can find your perfect spot. Dogs are allowed in some places as long as they stay leashed. You can also go fishing any spot you find cozy. Dont forget you need a license and they have a 2 fish maximum. The main area has a nice playground, with swings. A nice little beach that goes slowly into the water, perfect for littles. There are plenty of grills and picnic tables to go around. There are outhouses located around the park and one is right by the main area. There is also a changing building located in the main area as well. The fee is $2 a day or you can buy an annual pass as well. I dont remember the exact cost, but it is cheaper if youre a resident of Lisbon/Lisbon Falls. You can buy the pass at the Town Hall in Lisbon.

It was better back in the day when it was one big pond and then the army corps of engineers came in and messed it up. There wsas more to offer , snacks , lifeguard , better parking.

So lucky to have this beautiful place nearby! Great for nordic skiing and snowshoeing by winter, and mountain biking/hiking/running in the other seasons.Ive only gone swimming in one of the ponds, towards the back of the park. That seems the best option for swimming, with a fairly sandy bottom, and very clean water. The other ponds look a little more muddy and naturally on the murky side. I suspect those are much better for fishing, but all are unpolluted and quite pristine.Thank you, Lisbon!!!

Great place to go for nature walks. It is said the 3 ponds on the property are stocked with fish but Ive not caught a fish on 3 separate occasions. The main road trail is about 1.2miles and is a fast and fun romp on a mountain bike. Definately a gem and worth a visit.

A hidden park in Lisbon, very quiet with over six miles of walking trails plus a fitness trail with exercise stations to enhance your workout. There are three ponds, two of which are readily accessible for swimming. No lifeguards on duty. 4 outhouses throughout the park, one bathhouse for changing into swimwear, two covered picnic areas and on large ball field. The park has a carry in, carry out trash policy. $2 per person for Lisbon residents, $4 per person for non residents.

My family goes to make use of the large field. We have yet to see anyone else there, only having gone in the fall. We make use of the space to safely play ball with our puppy.

Fun place, good people. Watch where you let your kids swim and play, they dont have pest killing chemicals so ticks and leaches are a possibility.

One doesnt have to venture far from the domecile to find tranquility in Maine. It helps that today is a lovely Spring day, especially coming after a long, often frigid Winter.
