I was fortunate enough to play here in September with a good friend who is a member.The course was spectacular and was in phenomenal condition. The tee boxes are perfectly flat, the fairways were in excellent shape, and the greens rolled to perfection!I’d play it regularly if I lived in the area, such a a great track!

This is a review of the practice area and the range. Lots of opportunity to hone your golf skills... whether it is at the range or utilizing the spacious chipping area or even hitting out of a makeshift bunker. Word of caution... you can only get range balls if the clubhouse is open.

Course is always in great shape. Staff is excellent.Starting times are spaced with the starter so you do not bunch up behind the group in front of you.

Lincoln Hills is a well maintained and forgiving course. Greens typically roll true. The green fees are reasonable and the staff are very friendly. Worth the trip!

Course has gone down hill. Fairways have large amounts of Dallis Grass. Thin spots and divots not filled. Tee boxes sparse, and uneven. Stay AWAY

No one in front or behind us! Played Orchards and it was delightful. Rough needs to be cut back on some holes, but first nine was beautiful. Greens were in good condition, but could be more careful cutting the holes, as some had lips around the hole. Played at 12:00 pm and didnt have to wait for anyone. Scenery is much more spectacular than on the hills course, but needs better attention to detail around the greens. Would highly recommend play!

Management. Yesterday we waited just over an hour beyond our tee time to start a round of golf because of an inadequate amount of golf carts. This has been an issue for the last two weeks, since their re-open. Meanwhile other courses have made sure to bring in rentals carts to keep their tee time accuracy up, they have refused to. Also, btw, theyre booking tee times at 5 mins apart, during regular times sure, non-issue. But when every cart needs to be cleaned, thats just booking to make money. Understand time management. Then when asked about the issues , were told, sorry... Not acceptable. Please fix!

Drove an hour to get here. There was an accident 20 min way, so I called to say I might be a little late. I showed up 1 min past my tee time and the guy in the pro shop said go down to the range and the starter will start you. Got down, now about 3 min past my tee time, started says, ill start you when I can. Mind you, no one on the tee box or 1st hole,, and wont let me go. About 15 min later he puts a group through, then another. Then he proceeds to say I cant let you go for about another hour. I said Im goin to play somewhere else. RON the started saids, then leave... real professional. Went back to the pro shop got a refund, still no apologizes nothing, like they didnt even care. This place sucks!!!

Courses in good shape and a great place to golf

Pros: Decent deals on pricing, good courses, tasty food in the bar, friendly staff.Cons: Play is usually slow (lots of old folks at Del Webb).On this particular day, the guys in the golf shop were dealing with a new computer system and the wait was excruciating. Ive seen people close on houses quicker than that.

Always a fun course to play, but have noticed the course conditions have worsened recently.Tee box’s had not been mowed in numerous days, very long and fuzzy.Not a single bunker had been raked or manicured in who knows how long. Numerous weeds in every single bunker.Crab grass starting to creep in onto the greens.These details may seem minor to some, but in the grand scheme of things they play into the total experience you have at a facility. Hopefully conditions improve, but I don’t see myself returning until they do. A lot of other options in the area with better conditions.

Lincoln Hills Golf Club is definitely not a course for beginners. It is a little difficult because of the elevation changes and some of the water features. The course is well kept, the amenities are clean and the staff is friendly. The price is a little pricey, but worth it. I dont play there often because of the price but worth it when I do.

Played here many times. Everyone very friendly. The course was in great shape and are changing enough for all players young and old

Did like the place . wish I would have played a little better. Would come back to the course. Would have givin a 5 Starr if I would have gotten a free hotdog and a beer.

A continual let-down.... both courses are lots of fun to play and are challenging enough. But everything else is a bummer. The service is really poor. The online deal for $45 is great during the weekday but they require you to put in your credit card information. So instead i figured i would call and make a tee time thinking it would be easier. They still required a credit card number so i said screw it and got the tee time over the phone. What they didnt tell me was it was $10 more over the phone. Really annoying... then all the bathrooms on the course have numerical locks which is understandable... but in a senior community?!?! They didnt give us the combo to the bathroom and when i called they seemed annoyed that i had the stones to ask for the combo... Skylar in the pro shop needs to spend a little bit more time learning about customer service and less time chipping and putting with the clubs in the pro shop...If you come play here, make sure its a 4-some, be patient with the old people in the golf course, enjoy both courses because theyre both great, but pay no attention to the run-around and rudeness the staff puts you through.

Nice wide open golf course. Many different ways to get to the hole.

Was there last Saturday and really liked it nice wide fairways and the greens were in good shape. May be a new favorite for me. The hot links and hot dogs on hold 12 were tasty. May just head back there tomorrow

A amazing golf course. They keep the course in great shape and the views at the course are great. It made for a great relaxy day of golf with family. I would highly recommend playing Lincoln Hills Golf course..

Well maintained. Gorgeous. Cart a must for long distances between some holes. Not many water hazards. Forgiving holes. On the Orchard side.

Really enjoyed this course early on a Thursday morning. I shot one of my best rounds in a long time, from the white tees. Its pretty forgiving- not much treacherous terrain. Its a long, stretched out course. Not for walking, really. Highly recommend.

Golf course is a bit run down. Some greens are really in poor condition. Most holes are still fun to play. I play here once a week so I cant complain too much. The bar is good but a bit pricy, the bar is run by the homeowners.

We played the Hills course last Sunday. This side is fairly open without a lot of trees but still challenging. The par 3s are definitely longer than many courses. At least 2 of them were 170 yards or longer. The course was in great shape!

They were families letting their children pay in the fairways and a group of 5 that parked their golf carts on the green with no one there to enforce the rules making for VERY SLOW play.

Worst experience I have ever had at a golf course I was treated less than the next person that came in. It was my dads birthday we decided to enjoy a day at this golf course I come here 12+ times a year and this is the worst golf course I have ever been to and ever been treated at a golf course. When we paid for golf in the morning they allowed a regular to cut us and when we said have a good day to the people working the desk they just said whatever to us and were very rude. Then when we finished our round they tried to stop us in the golf cart and tell us to give them the cart and they would not allow us to take our clubs to the car. Then they allowed 4 othwr carts to go past to drop their clubs off i was treated like I was less here. I will never spend my money at this establishment again. If you want to be treated like less this is the course for you to come to. I will never reccomed this course to anyone I hope anyone who does come to this course has a better experience but I will not spend my money at a place that treats me or the next person like less. Worst experience ever.

Extremely well kept courses. Great staff, fun for all skill levels. Wide open fairways and some challenging hazard placements.

Good course

The Pro Jason helped me secure a tee time when I could not use the play coupon that I was issued with a charity golf tournament I played in. He was so helpful in accommodating the problems I had with not being able to play Monday- Thursday, and for an upgraded fee was able to allow me to play and experience Lincoln Hills Golf Course. This is a great promotion to allow players to fall in love with the course; and with the great service of the staff, and restaurant, it is an easy course to fall in love with.

My wife and I, together with another couple played in the Cupid’s Cup this past Saturday. Even though the tournament had all the makings of a fun time, I wanted to let you know that we were all disappointed at the events lack of organization. When the alternate shot round ended, we couldn’t find anyone around the pro shop who could tell us about the scoring results or if there were any awards based on the participants performance. We ended up leaving and concluded that it is doubtful that we will ever play in another promoted tournament at Lincoln Hills.

One of the nicest courses around this area.Reasonable green fees.

The Orchard course has fairly open fairways, but there are a few forced layups off the tee that leave lengthy approach shots. Generally the conditions were quite good, especially the greens, but on March 18 some of the fairways are still recovering from the dormant season. Staff was friendly. We finished in 5 hours.

Great course and well maintained. Driving range attendant was very pleasant.

Wonderful golf courses, but just had a bad experience with the pro shop. I just showed up to get a bucket of balls after work @5:36pm. I asked through the glass i could get a bucket and the guy said no, all done for the day. They closed at 5:30. Seems stupid a golf course closes that early when it dosent even get dark until 8-9pm during the summer.

Very nice private but open to public course. With two eighteen hole courses. Reasonable weekend afternoon rate and my twelve year old son played for free with my green fee of 25$ with cart. Great way to introduce your kids to the game of golf.

Just really really slow. No Marshall to speed things up...also sand is completely drenched. Outside of that course is in good shape.

I do not golf but if its the one off the hwy. I wpyld love to go. Tbat wpuld be fun.

I like this pretty course. I like playing orchard side more than hills side because orchard side seems a bit more playable/par-able. It is fair golf, quite playable holes, par 5s reachable with 2 good shots, not too many trees to get boxed in by, pretty wide fairways, not unreasonably hard to make pars like some courses. Unlike some courses which are demoralizing when you are struggling just to make bogies.

Great Pickleball courts n players.Great Clubhouse, pools, weights etc.

Course is in good shape, i have heard that the staff is hit and miss. Ive experienced good staff.

Two 18 hole courses. 9 holes not available. Can not be walked. Hills course is not as challenging, but beautiful. Orchard course is very very challenging and and not as scenic.

I am not someone who usually gives a 1 star review, but I felt that Lincoln Hills Golf Course definitely earned its 1 star.I have been golfing in the Sacramento area for many years, and have in the past enjoyed thoroughly playing at Lincoln Hills Golf Course. Unfortunately after the round my friend and I played on Friday the 13th of September we will never be back.What started out as a normal day ended up being the worst day of golf, thanks to the complete breakdown of customer service and down right human politeness by Mac in the pro shop, and Sean Silva the apparent General Manager. As my friend and I approached the green on the 6th hole, on the Orchard course our golf cart came to a screeching halt going up hill, almost throwing us over the dash board. We thought the battery may have died, but everything was still on we just werent moving.It is no secret that things happen with golf carts when you are golfing all the time, so we decided to use the on board GPS to call for help, and we also decided to make a call to the pro shop just to be safe. After about 9 separate attempts to get someone to answer the phone (they were not that busy) we finally got an answer at 3:17pm. A gentleman by the name of Mac said he would send someone right out (remember we are only on the 6th hole) so it is not that far.At 3:30pm, we were still sitting in the sun on the 6th hole (it was over 100 out) so I called back, and again spoke to Mac who told me and I quote they are on their way over the hill!It is now 3:39pm, and we are still sitting on the 6th hole. at this point we have already been passed by other golfers and we are hot and sweaty. So I called again and this time played with the automated system to get the GM Sean Silva on the phone, I was grateful that maybe someone in charge could help! That was a mistake, all he had to say was he heard the conversation with Mac and like he told me before they are on their way. I of course had to ask why has it been (22) minutes? All he said was sorry, it takes a while to get out their. Really?? To drive a cart 6 holes? I can walk 6 holes a lot faster than 22 minutes.From this point, I decided to just stop calling. So we sat and waited another 15 minutes and finally decided to pack everything up and start walking. It was now 3:54pm. and it was still blazing hot out!When we arrived at the 7th hole, low and behold that cart guy pulled up and was like does someone need a cart? Really? No, not at all! When I asked the cart guy what had happened, he said and I again quote I literally just got the call Are you kidding??This golf course has got some serious issues. To charge us $59.00 each and treat us like we just dont matter is a serious breakdown of just plain old human kindness, I even after all of this was nothing but polite to the people that finally came, because it is the right thing to do.Thats all.

They are not very friendly and they only have golfing and a place to eat. You have to be a member. The restaurant employees are very rude
