Pinball deal to do time play is great, except all machines are thrashed. Some are so far out of level that you cannot make certain shots. Some are just broken so it is impossible to actually hit a trigger, even if you make contact where you should. Examples- deadpool, center drop target broken and wont drop or register. Iron maiden, broken left sling and post. Star wars, pulls so hard to right, ball can barely hit anything on left accurately. Ghostbusters, extra ball scoop broken off and blocking entrance. If you get in, you wont trigger and machine has to do ball find which will then eject you straight down the center. I tried to speak with management there about the playability and was trying to illustrate the issue but they didnt want to hear it and said machines were maintained daily. Dont waste your money if you like pinball.

I honestly dont know what Ive been doing here in Lincoln for all the the past so many years, without Round1... Japan has hit Lincoln by storm! The reason why I say Japan is because Round1 is a Japanese company and oh man, there is so much eye candy!... and eye candy to play with, too! Arcades, billiards, pinball machines, a bowling alley, a game store, table games, party rooms, karaoke, a lounge, a cafe, photo booths, video-style games, wheel games, crane games, games-games... the whole place is lit up n glowing with neon/LED goodness (TV screens included)! Many games have labels saying Straight from Japan! - and it is true, because you wont find many of these games anywhere else but! When I was there this evening, the place was bustling with people, music and fun. I cannot wait until my next visit to Round1 at Gateway Mall here in Lincoln - I totally love it and I guarantee you will too! There is nothing like it between Chicago and Denver - awesomeness to the extreme!!!~

Prime date night competitor. I love taking my boyfriend here after a stop at applebees. I recommend getting their rewards card for the extra credits and the karaoke and bowling discounts. Its so great seeing a fully fleshed out arcade, careful how much you spend but have fun!

Atrocious customer service. Talked to six different employees, four of them said I dont know and either moved on to to what they were doing or other customers. Other two argued and then tried to have a separate person help me only for that employee to never show up.Has newer games from Japan (Beatmania/BEMANI & racing games) but essentially worthless without cards/passes associated with games. Being out of stock is one thing, but the lack of knowledge or even effort to find anything out about them was telling.Avoid unless you like frustration.

This place is an embarrassment to the Round1 Company. The games are all broken and the staff don’t fix them when you ask them and they literally say they will but then nothing happens. I spent $100 and half of the games were off and they say they rotate every day so we came back the next day and it was the exact same. The staff are rude and they all lie. It doesn’t deserve 1 star but it’s the least I can do. I speaked to 3 employees and the manager and they all lied and said they were alternating games closed for distancing but of course knowing this terrible place, they didn’t. This terrible arcade needs to be shut down. All of the reviews that complain about customer service are very accurate. They have the rudest employees I have ever seen in an arcade. I have had 3 employees and the manager lie to me. I will never go back until the employees learn to be normal and they fix their games. Who wants my $100 card?

Complete rip off. I spent over $150 for my family to play arcade games here. We won over 1200 tickets on a game. The game then displayed an error. We went to the customer service counter and they refused to give us the tickets we won. They claim to have refunded the credits we played, but nothingWas added to our cards. What an infuriating encounter. I will never go back.

This place was so much fun to play around in. Bowling was cool, the staff was nice and got it back up and running after it glitched for a moment. The bowling balls are cute and look like basketballs. Interesting to see they also have different sized finger holes for the bowling balls, so you could have a heavier ball while having tiny fingers or a lighter ball with bigger fingers. Super neat they do that. The games were a lot of fun. Got nostalgic with a few games. Was delighted to win a few stuffed animals and see my friends win too. Great place to just take a break and relax from the crazy in the world. If you wanna have fun just blowing off some steam and have the extra few bucks to spend, I suggest coming here because it was totally worth it. Oh plus I liked the bathrooms, very nice and clean when I was there on two different days. So you know they clean it consistently. Thank you for the fun fourth of July. :)

I loved this place when I took my son there. He had a blast! Food service took way longer to make our food then expected. And no trash cans be elevator/escalators to get rid of trash which irritated me. Even seen a guy put his cup on top on machine in front of escalators cuz no trash cans available

It is a fun place and I decided to have a party but I regretted when the information service took more than 25 minutes to see me in the face, the manager stepped in front of me more than 6 times and never asked if I was needing something, it is also unfortunate that a business like that, in a city like this the manager is not trained to provide a quality service unfortunate, visit this place for what there is, and do notexpect much about service, it seems pity that they are obliged. a good manners and service course would be very helpful to this team

Took my face mask off for a few seconds just to take a drink, and a lady who worked there came and yelled at me. Some other people who were there bowling and over heard what happened said that the same thing happened to them. If I’m not allowed to take drinks, why sell me drinks? Horribly rude staff. Never going back.

It’s definitely a bit pricey, but what places like this aren’t? It’s nice to have SOMETHING to do in Lincoln.If you plan on being there after 10pm, make sure you have an ID, and be prepared to show it. Security does checks at 10 and 12 to ensure there are no underage people in after 10pm, and also do ID checks at the door after 10.

Good in theory. Terrible follow through. Lanes not oiled, shorter, not certified. Roll the ball straight down the lane and it WILL go either side without spin. Just watched someone use one of the acclaimed bowling ramps and that happened. Not to mention $20 for 2 alcoholic drinks?!?! Not worth what they charge.

Pros: Great imports, fun redemption games with fair prices. Membership bonuses are definitely worth the price. foods also decent, soda is a bit expensive, especially with the refill price.Cons: The mozzarella sticks are terrible, the cheese inside of them is more like some kind of cheese paste than any sort of cheese stick. No structure to the stick 0/10Im too good at crane games and had the manager following me around for part of the night to make sure I wasnt cheating. Glad to see theyre dedicated to making sure the guests are having a genuine gaming experience.

A few weeks ago I took my daughter to Round 1 to help take her mind off of my son almost dying. He had a few complications at the hospital over the 3 weeks of being there. We went on a date and played a few games. Our last game was a claw machine with a panda pillow in it. We almost had it all the way up then the claw dropped it. One of the managers saw what happened and as we walked away he moved the panda so we could get it. I had just enough on the play card to try one more time. I thanked him after but I dont think he truly knows what it meant for me. I had not been able to spend much time with my daughter since my son was in the ICU. Seeing her smile like that was amazing. Just the night before we spent the night holding hands and prayer for her brothers life so we really needed that smile! Thank you sir for being you!

Not a bad arcade center. Reminds me of a smaller Dave & Busters. Good bored weekend fun in the local mall.

I wish the games area had more variety. Tons of the same claw machines taking up space, limited older games, and kind of expensive from the perspective of an original arcade junkie. It is a lot better than Champions, but I would like to see more in the game area.

This is my favorite thing in Lincoln. Its great for a night out with a bunch of friends, or a date night. This place is huge, and offers a variety of games to play. I love the claw machines, and they actually have really cute prizes that arent garbage. Theyre pretty different from typical US claw machines, but they do work. I actually won a puppy there! The food is good too. They offer a good amount to choose from.

Terrible management. Drinks are extremely over priced and food is mediocre at best. For a great bowling experience, try any other bowling venue in Lincoln.

Love this place. All the games are fun and the prices are good. Just this night a kind man helped my friends and I win some prizes. Will always be coming here for friend outings.

Actually would rate a 0. Had a party there last night. Cost $360. We got food, pizza and wings. The 11 of us barely ate anything, I wanted to take it home. I tt 3 managers there, explaining only 2 of us used the game cards, only did 2 rounds of bowling. They admitted the food would just be thrown away, but in the contract it says you cant take food home. I said I could understand if we had multiple orders of this unlimited food. But we didnt. They threatened to kick me. This was our family Christmas party and my daughters 25th birthday. I made her upset by complaining but was trying to get a little bit of what was paid for by taking home food we paid for. This place gets a big 0 in my book.

I actually really like the place! The bowling prices are reasonable. Can rent a billiard table for an hour at a fairly good price. Music can be a bit loud.

Fair priced for an arcade, but the price of soda is pretty high considering you can walk in with a bottle if you wanted.

Cheap beer. Food prices were decent and the quality was what you would expect from an arcade. Bowling was kind of expensive compared to other places. Arcade has lots of games and decent prices.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. Their customer service is absolute garbage, and I will never be taking my children there again. The manager is incredibly rude and needs customer service training apparently, as well as the rest of the staff members that are openly and blatantly disrespectful. They cannot handle children in the slightest and I will never recommend that anyone go there.

Had a fun afternoon there with our teen and preteen kids. The bowling alley is nice and clean and there is a wide variety of video games. If youre a adult and you want an adult beverage, make sure to take your ID in with you. They card everyone even if you are old parents with teenagers. Better safe than sorry, Im glad they take it seriously.

One of my sons favorite places to go. Hes 10vand really loves pinball. The 90 minute pass is an amazing deal if you like this style of game. The ticket prize games can get pricey but no worse then Dave and busters etc. Food isnt great, not terrible but not good. Drink prices are ok and a plus that they serve alcohol to begin with. One thing to be aware of, a lot of the games are Japanese language but still fun.

Horrible place. Management was rude, games are expensive and foreign. Security is there for what reason? Its a hang out for teenage kids who are dressed like gothic cults and other teens who look gang related. Its not safe to those parents bringing in young children. Perhaps that is reason for security? Too many employees and no one knows what they are doing. Will not return. Id rather spend my money at a local facility in town that this hole.

Wow! What a fun place! So many different and unique games! My girls and fiance loved it!! The ice cream was delicious and only $.99 a scoop! It was just so brightly colored and the music playing was awesome!! Good tunes! Good games! Good ice cream! Good fun!!

This is an interesting place to go. They have a wide selection of arcade games that you fund with a card system, much like how tokens used to work. Theres a fun variety of prices for all ages. Well-stocked bar and decent food selection. Definitely not a cheap visit though

Cash to Credit ratio for games is pretty bad and customer service was well below average. Swiped card to play a basketball game, game didnt work but it took my credits...went to customer service expecting a easy resolution of putting the 8 credits on...she asked me ten questions and said I won 15 tickets, tried explain to her again that none of lights turned on nothing was working, she again asked several questions. Got to the point where it wasnt worth the hassle and walked away.

This could be a 5-star if party prices for kids werent so outrageously high. Read any contract for a party carefully. How much can a 7 year old eat? A lot of fun otherwise!

Love this place! Makes me feel like a kid again. I can drink a beer and not feel like Im in a bar. Lots of games to choose from and the fact that I cant read most of them, doesnt matter. The claw machines look more like baby cranes. Cant wait to go again! Oh, and bring extra money!

Tons of games. Has pools tables, a bowling ally (that needs to be waxed a bit better, and lanes feel shorter then normal) tokens have a fair price. Will not give back change in the form of $10 or $20 Bills. They say its company policy due to the credit machine taking only them bills. This place has some very interesting policies, but it is still enjoyable.

It is a fun place. The pinball machines were what I was after, and they have a great selection. The cranes should be improved to allow more wins. People would be more apt to use them if they could win, which I didnt see very many people playing and didnt see anyone win. The food costs are not bad and I am glad to see something like this in Lincoln.

I love the variety of imported games from Japan, it really does remind me of some the arcades I went to in Tokyo. However, I think some of the employees need a politeness check. I was rudely denied a second drink by a bartender. I had ordered one drink prior and when asked for a second the bartender asked, For you? and just shook her head no at me with no further explanation. If there was a one drink limit, fine, but maybe an explanation would have been better than just a head shake and a glare. There are signs that say they will no longer serve you if you are obviously intoxicated, but that definitely was not the case. The same bartender also rudely told my friend to get in line to order a drink despite there not being a clear line to begin with so she just didnt order anything. It just seemed very unfriendly and made us uncomfortable.

Not enough bar staff on weekend. Takes too long to get a drink. Food is average. Beer and drink selection is great! They have too many working food, not enough on bar. Only one cash register on bar which is part of problem!

It was pretty fun. Wish they served mixed drinks but that is about all I can complain about. Prices are a tad high for some of the bowling. especially when you have multiple people playing on one lane literally each person you add decreases the value for your money.

Food is bad and expensive. Our party ordered pizzas and ut took 25 mins to get our pizzas. Then when we got them, there was paper or tissue baked into the bottom of them. We ordered 2 orders of mozzarella sticks and there was no cheese in the sticks.Fun atmosphere, just dont eat there.

So fun! An honest to goodness real arcade with moden games and other fun activities. Many of the games are Japanese-style, like rhythm games and the fighting games where you sit across from one another. Unfortunately, some are completely in Japanese so are had to figure out if you cant read the text. But I had fun anyway, and there are plenty of games in English!Also, the service was pretty poor while we were there, particularly slow and a but rude at times. Luckily, there were also a few really amazing people. Im sure theyll get the kinks worked out soon. We tried bowling and a bunch of arcade games, and they were all wonderful! Also tried food and bar--this is where the service was lacking. Everything more agonizingly slowly. But again, there were also plenty of helpful employees. The place was packed while we were there, and everyone was having fun. Highly recommend for people of all ages--theres something for everyone.

Rented a private karaoke room. After arriving we were told no alcohol in the room. Alcohol must be left unattended outside the room on a table. We were then told to not congregate around the outside table because our group was blocking the walkway to the restrooms. I dont know why alcohol wasnt allowed in the room, they have cameras in the private rooms.In line for beer as I write this review one beer. 1 bartender working. I 100% do not recommend for anyone over 21.Edit 1: 12min in line for a single beer.Edit 2: 20min in line. Almost to the bar. Moves faster because people left the line.Edit 3: Got beer in 31min. I should probably get back to the karaoke room I cant drink in so I can enjoy our friends birthday party.

If youre looking for the closest thing to a Dave and Busters, this place is fantastic. Game selection is very wide (Maybe even better than D&B). If youre a geek like me, youll love the Japanese games theyve brought over plus they have a bunch of anime items in the prize grabbers (It would be awesome too if you guys could maybe just sell them by themselves!). I havent done any of the bowling yet or interacted too much with the employees, but the security at the top of the escalator can be a little off-putting when youre going in there for the first time. Plenty of parking, and easy to find.The food and drinks are a touch over priced but thats kind of expected for such an establishment, and kind of bowling alley quality.The cash to token ratio seems fair but always could be better. The games to points payout doesnt seem consistent across all the games types. Some award more and some less for the same game with a different name.

Huge arcade is a definite plus.The pricing was a bit confusing as it wasn’t available anywhere online.We bought 2 club cards ($5 each) plus 70 minutes of play time ($10 each) for a total of $30.With the cards, you’re only able to play games with the green pad. So no ticket games and limited arcade games. Our 7 year son was a bit disappointed to not be able to play the big arcade games he was used to playing at the amazing pizza machine or Dave and busters.On the bright side, pricing was cheaper than the places in Omaha, but the limited options were disappointing.Next time we go, we’ll definitely get the credits to play games and see how that goes.

Literally opened up just a few days ago, one of the most entertaining things to do in Lincoln. Largest variety of arcade games anywhere, with a bowling alley, billiards bar and food court all inside.Just a heads up though, the advertised party plans dont become available until later in January, 2019, so until then you will either have to buy individual credits (reloaded onto cards) or one of their smaller, selective plans.Def worth a visit! If youre looking for something to do in Lincoln, one of the most fun things.

Definitely would not recommend if you are planning on having any type of event here. The GM was not helpful at all despite making reservations and plans way in advance. Reading other reviews, it seems as though I’m not the only one that has had a horrible customer service experience. It is very apparent that the staff does not care about the customers experience at all. Save your money and go some place that actually values customers.

It’s a good place to go. One thing I don’t like about it is the section where u win stuff animals. I swiped EIGHTEEN times to try winning one stuff animal for my little cousin. Couldn’t get one. It’s because those black things holding it, make the heads stuck when u press on the tails or stomach. Waste of credits. Also when you go to get your prizes from the little place. I waited about 6 minutes. Waiting for a worker to come and check things out for me. There should be an employee there at all times. The pizza they make there makes me sick and I throw up every time I eat there. Other then that I like everything else.

Do the math. Many local establishments have better rate. A Japanese company which means part of the revenue is going overseas.

Lots of stuff to do but not worth the money. Especially for little kids. We took her over to chuck e cheese for a fraction of the price that suited her needs better.

WHY HAVE ONLY 1 PERSON WORKING THE TICKET COUNTER WHERE YOU TURN IN TICKETS AND THINGS!? they have all the flashing lights and sounds like a casino type atmosphere and yes some fun games but over all its not worth it! ITS VERY LOUD even with a small amount of people loud music blasting over the speakers... Handful of friendly employees but overall younger kids and not the nicest people. Not sure we will be going back anytime soon...

This was hands down the worst customer experience that I have seen in a very long time. Most of the evening was spent waiting in line on a night when only half the lanes were & most games were empty. Their processes are inefficient and the staff is unresponsive. We waited in line for drinks then we waited in line for food and we waited in line for shoes and we waited in line for game cards because of poor planning and procedures. However that would not have been enough to motivate me to complain. As a group of middle-aged people and one teenager, we were treated very poorly while we were bowling. There was some sort of competition during each hour where the person who got a strike during that round would be the winner. The sixteen-year-old with us got a strike and with no explanation was told he didnt win. When we pressed for more information he was told that he didnt get a strike even though it was clearly right there on the scoreboard. When the man running the game acknowledged the strike we were then told there were no prizes. We asked for a specific channel on the TV so we could watch basketball and we were told by the employee that he could ask but management would not care what we wanted. When there was a spill in the seating area near our lane, employees brought napkins to clean it up but when we pointed out that wasnt going to be sufficient somebody brought back a mop head, not a mop just a mop head and swished the spill around the floor. All of this was concerning to me because I want to see businesses in Lincoln succeed and I assumed that things would get better with some employee training. I think I was wrong however. Because when we finished up our two games of bowling we were lingering in our area longer than we probably should have. So the employee came to hurry us along and we did. But when we were just finishing up packing up our things and putting away all of the balls a group of boys who were not with us had left behind they sent security to remove us from the floor. At that point, we asked to speak to the manager and explain to him what happened. We expressed our desire that this new business in Lincoln succeed and he said that was his hope to however he was unresponsive to any of our complaints or suggestions. I gave him my business card and asked for a follow-up email or conversation with him and have heard nothing. Repeatedly we have heard from employees and other customers that this is a foreign run company that is not interested in customer satisfaction, only in the bottom line. I can assure you that this type of mismanagement, the poor processes, and the lack of training support for employees will definitely affect the bottom line. I cannot recommend this business as a good place to spend your time and money in anyway. I am leaving my comment here because there seems to be no effective way to communicate concerns with management staff.

One of the worker was giving me an attitude with my girlfriend. We simply asked her politely if she can reset the claw game for us, she said no and said it was winnable. We didn’t care if it was winnable or not we just wanted the toy to be reset how it is suppose to be. And it wasn’t even winnable when it was stuck. What a nice way to treat your customers when you’re suppose to reset it if it’s not the way how it look in the picture.

Love the games but the place needs more workers

This visit was very disappointing. I really dont know where they get their security guards from... But it is Miss managed to say the least.

Expensive but fun. The claw machines with the arrows are confusing. Ice cream cone for 99 cents is delicious!

We bowled and played pool. I love that the bowling balls are arranged on the stands by size and are color coded. There is also a massive arcade area. They have rooms for karaoke. Its a clean environment inside the Gateway Mall.

Finally, Gateway mall offers a fun place instead of shopping. The place is full of energy! Good prices but the management needs to make odering more efficient. No reason for long lines to order a beer.

I was blown away by how cool this place is, for all ages. So many games to be played on a card-purchase style like Dave and Busters does. They have bowling, pool tables, party rooms, full bar, and food.They really have to get their bar area figured out though. The beer, bottle or draft, is very low priced but they have one person trying to keep up with the entire place. If you’re bowling you better just get a pitcher or the entire lane will be waiting on you for a bottle of beer. It got to the point that when I was half way done I’d just get back in line so I had something to drink while I waited.We bowled, and I understand the lanes are new, but there is either a leveling problem or an oil problem going on. Every ball shot straight to the left in the gutter. It was so bad we spent a whole game trying to see if it was possible to keep a ball on the lane at all. I started asking other lanes and they were having the same problem.

TONS of things to do! Actually, I felt like I got my moneys worth out of the games. It was more play time than I thought, the dancing step games especially!!! The prize items were also more upscale than I would have expected. I take my team here after tournaments as a treat. We could stay here for hours!!!

Really like the place. Like the fact that around 10pm younger kids under 19 cant be there without an adult 25 or older. Then at 12am you have to be 21 or older to be in there. Fun games to play and the bowling is fun, you can pay for just games or you can pay by the hour.

Really overpriced for birthday parties and employees management were very rude. I am very disappointed as I had heard good things about this place. If your kid wants a birthday party here I would suggest booking it somewhere else and cheaper! Over $350 for 11 kids ages 7 and under for a bday party. Outrageous!

The place is cute inside and there are lots of games but the credits are kind of a rip off unless you buy a lot and split a card (which is what we did and saved SOOOOO MUCH money) BUT at 9:55 p.m. I was asked to show my drivers license but I did not have it with me only my student ID from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln which they said was not valid and then asked me to leave as I was in the gift shop section getting ready to leave. Their 18 and over policy after 10 p.m. is honestly ridiculous BUT I would’ve happily complied if the worker who asked me and my friends to leave wasn’t so rude to us. Half of us had Id and they were all 19-20 years old. If you’re going to have a stupid policy that makes people who have spent HUNDREDS of dollars leave then you should at LEAST be nice and understanding not just ask us to leave. I’m so disappointed I will NOT be returning EVER. ALSO IM 19!

Amazingly fun family place for all ages

The setup is nice, but the people and policies aren’t. If it is after 10 pm you must present ID to prove you are over 18 years of age. But not just any ID... it must be a drivers license and that is the only option. With only a student ID with my date of my birth on it, I was kicked out even though my friends and I were all clearly college students and over the age of 18. They will not hesitate to lose business to enforce their policy. The employees were also very unfriendly, and did not create a friendly atmosphere. I will never go back.

Great atmosphere! Definitely a fun time with some friends

We will never return to this place. Customer service is nonexistent. The desk attendant was nice however not too knowledgeable on the different packages. After 5 minutes of walking around looking at the games that could be played with our card, we determined that the $10/hour card was not at all suitable for a 6 year old, as all the games were apocalyptic, shoot-em-up games, so we returned to the front desk to change our package. At first the attendant said she’d be able to change it, but had to call for her manager. The manager could not have been more rude and disrespectful! She refused to exchange our card and apply it towards another package, stating “you knew what you were buying!” and “we’re not here to parent your child” ...Crazy! Complete piece of trash! Absolutely no class and no customer service! This place will not last long.

This place is for every event you can imagine. Whether youre looking for a family night out, girls night out, wanting to catch the game, have a bite, sing karaoke, play pool, the arcade, or bowl, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Robert the bartender is the man. Serves them cold and quick.

Only giving 1 star because I have to in order to leave a review. TOTAL WASTE of money if you are having a kids party there. Suppose to be “all you can eat” they don’t bring food out for an hour after our party started and then shut it down 15 minutes before the party ends. As for the unlimited game time they only have a select few that are included with the package unless you want to pay even more then the 23$ per kid on top of it. Only half of the games are included. Our party “hostess” didn’t even come check to see if we need refills or anything. I had to take care of that myself.

Lots of kids, although thats to be expected. Weird assortment of Asian games

Bs. Went to purchase a second game of bowling. Was told had to purchase at that counter and that guy was gone for more than 15 minutes with no one else covering? Paid for a shoe rental for one game. Had an entire drink before he appeared. Went no one else could help was beyond us.

Took me and the girl friend to check it out. They have green cards and blue cards. We waited 20 minutes in line with 1 couple in front of us while the children played behind the counter. For 8$ you can have a limited time to play all green card games ( some in chinese with no subtitles) obviously the good games are blue. After swiping your card you have to wait a minute before playing your next game. We died in a zombie game and had to wait to use the card to play the next game. We didnt do the blue games because its 2 to 4$ per person per game. This would have been a great spot if it was managed by adults and the prices were reasonable. Will not be returning and this place will fail unless the children working are supervised
