The amount of history with regards to Jack and his wife and extensive hunting career is awesome. A must stop location.

Great detail and fun place to visit, especially if youre a hunter.

My husband and I spent over an hour here. We are avid hunters and loved looking at all the mounts and speaking with Jacks daughter.

They were very welcoming and had knowledge of everything in the museum. The kids loved it.

Lots of taxidermied animals from Jack OConnors many hunting trips.

My father and I really enjoyed our experience there. The volunteer staff were a real pleasure to talk to as well.

Read some of his articles as a kid and books and an adult. Always impressed.

Very cool place for anyone into hunting or hunting related journalism.

Neat history. Be aware that it cost to drive in the park to OConnor but to get into OConnor is free.

The Jack OConnor Center is one of those places that speaks to a specific group of people.... people who remember Jack OConnor as the Outdoor Life writer, big game hunter, and early wildlife conservationist that he was. The center is full of his memorabilia including his favorite hats, guns, writings, and numerous trophies. If you want to revisit days gone by and learn about a true American Sportsman, then I recommend a trip to the center.

This is a nice little museum. Definitely fun for kids to see different animals up close. It is the collection of an avid hunter. There is information to read and learn and books to purchase.

Great collection. Quiet. The back room is a favorite.

Great history and story. Very knowledgeable staff. Only problem I have as an animal and nature lover is the trophy hunting. Can say it was a different era all you want but truth is, humans have devastated animal populations for a long long time before Jack was even born. To think he could be different than any other was his mistake. Now he has the heads of endangered animals on his walls and instead of regretting it they celebrate it. I will never understand how anyone can kill for pleasure.

Surprisingly very good. Had never heard of it until we drove up to it. Very interesting man.
