Great park only wish it was patrolled a little more frequently. There are mass gatherings being held with no one wearing masks, Im talking 50 plus people I believe participating in Religious gatherings but still, we are in a pandemic. That is just irresponsible to me. It makes me stay away.

The park is small but has lots to do packed in, a walking trail surrounds a large open field, a softball field off to a side, 2 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts restrooms, several picnic areas, multiple play places for kids, a rent-a-garden area, parking and restrooms. The park is also pretty well maintained and has deer that come through a few times a day.

Nice walking trail, lots of deer, sometimes I get scared though bc they be looking u down lol smh. Courts are still closed off among with the play area. Always see ppl walking their dogs but it is annoying to see when they do not pick up after them, come on no excuse for one its rude as hell and the park even provides you dogs walkers, bags to pick up the poop!

Great park! We had a picnic under a covered pavilion near a creek bed. There was a nice breeze even in the heat of a hot June day. Lots of BIG mature trees. There was a nice childrens play ground. It was beautifully maintained and had clean bathrooms. There were also sport fields. What a hidden gem in the middle of the city!

The park is very well maintained and is always being upgraded. Has its courses very well measured for tracking your progress. Its playgrounds have been recently shaded and whole new track has been recently added. New picnic tables are being renovated and more trees and park benches have been added. This in addition to the 2 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, 3 soccer fields and 1 volleyball court. Love it.

Love this park! The new shades they added over the playground is great! This park has something for everyone!! Adults can even play and climb on the equipment. This is handicap friendly too as there is a ramp to go up :) They have soccer fields and a couple covered pavillons as well as picnic tables scattered throughout the park. Ample parking and can even park at library and walk across.

I have been going to this park for a while, my earliest memories are when I was about 9 or 10 before they had done any renovations, but anyway I still love it just as much and for people who do not know, the gentleman that actually owned that land that the park is on, there is actually a grave site fenced even through the back trails if you go look for it and even a stream through the further you go. You can even walk to the preserved history on bandera and leon valley. Its just an amazing experience.

Its a very well equip park. It has a little for everyone even a nature trail and community garden. Gets pretty busy on good weather days, most people are polite even though its highly diverse. It is actually a safe and pleasant place to walk. A good mix of sun and shade can make this a prime spot during the summer. There is a playground that even as an adult will make you think Im going to do this. Basketball court and tennis court available. No matter the time of day you can see deer if you venture around and keep a vigilant eye although most times they are pretty darn close.

Really nice park. Literally everything outdoor sporting you can do. They have a track, basketball ball court, soccer, big space really. Playground is a decent size. Only thing for me is, while they do have a little section for the younger children, they will go to the bigger children section and most times the parents arent really watching them to make sure they dont get ran over by the bigger children and just let them sit at the bottom of the slides while the other children are sliding down. So basically play at your own risk and keep an eye out. Other than that its a great park to go to.

My daughter loves this park and I suppose thats all that matters. This is the only reason I visit. Personally, I think the park needs a good upgrade. The benches and picnic tables are worn out, chipped. Other areas on the playground look like theyve been there forever. The bathrooms dont have soap dispensers, that always grossed me out.

Horrible experience at the basketball court at this park. This was my first time here. My kids as well as others wanted to shoot some hoops so I asked the kids who where playing basketball and their parents for permission to use one of the basketball court. The kids said yes but their parents got angry and were disrespectful and rude. They did not want to share the court so that the other kids could shoot hoops. Thank you to the kids that shared the basketball court. They were very accommodating and understanding to the needs of others. The parents of these kids on the other hand can learn a lesson or two about sharing, respect and kindness. Beware on the basketball court in this park.

Huge playground for the kiddos, including a couple taller climbing structures and slides for older kids. My kids couldnt get enough of the merry go round. Several benches around play area to sit as well. Large fields with soccer goals, volleyball net and basketball court. Lots of shaded picnic tables with grills and a pavilion that can be rented with a larger grill. Theres also a trail around the park but we didnt explore it yet. The playground is a little ways away from either parking area and one path goes through the drainage area so not ideal when theres been rain and its not advised to cross if water is flowing through.
