We love staying at Golden Nugget Las Vegas on Fremont Street. We stayed in the Gold Tower 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom and wet bar Parlor Suite. Good choices for food and the gambling allows you to play and the slots are not too tight. Walk right out onto Fremont Street and enjoy the Fremont Street Experience.

I shouldve got a refund. Rooms are stripped, no ice, no convenience machines. So much smoke in the casino its unreal. They are more concerned about your mask being completely covering your whole face then customer service. I will not stay here on my next trip. Their ventilation sucks. They should have the hall monitors work the front desk, that way everyone would know how theyll be treated and not stay.

I only use two players cards in Vegas. One of them is for a group of casinos on the strip, and the other is the Golden Nugget. The Golden Nugget is its own unique hotel and casino that unapologetically doesnt try to be someone else. I feel they are the most well-rounded spot in downtown. Excellent selection of slots, restaurants table games and of course the amazing Shark Tank pool.I prefer the Rush tower when I stay there but in general this is a fantastic spot!

I took my twin sons to The Golden Nugget for their 21st birthday and had an amazing time! We arrived on Halloween 2020 and found complete compliance with Covid requirements to the point of making me feel safe! Take a drink- replace mask- swallow! It’s important and I’ve been tested since our return as negative twice!I’m in greater danger going to a local grocery store in Louisville! This pic was taken at 4 am and bartenders moved far away for 15 seconds so I could get this photo and then the masks went right back on unless we were in our room!(We all live in the same house!)Thx Nugget and we’ll see you again in a couple years!By the way. I’m keeping the $12,000 you kindly gave me at your tables. Thanks for that!Hit 7 numbers on the Roulette table in 9 spins!Dealer was not thrilled when I colored up with $4200 30 minutes after buying in for $200!It’ll never happen again but I’ll try

The Hotel is gorgeous, the pool area is super cool with the shark tank, and the Casino is very nice. My 3 stars is based on the front desk and housekeepings lack of response. The housekeeping staff were just getting back to cleaning rooms by request due to Covid. I followed the instructions daily, but housekeeping never came. On the last day/night of our stay, I placed a call requesting services explaining how we hadnt received any. My call was transferred to literally 6 different people who PROMISED service with apologies. At 6, still no service. Called housekeeping and they said it would take the approval of the front desk. Called the front desk and they guaranteed the room would be cleaned by 8. Well, it was not. Customer Service is severely lacking at this hotel which was very disappointing,

This is our go-to hotel downtown. Its pretty consistent with service and amenities. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and checked in before check in time. It wasnt a problem at the front desk. We were upgraded to the Rush Tower I was happy about that since Ive only stayed in the Carson and Gold Towers. We loved our room! I liked how the Rush Tower is at the back of the casino, so its quiet. The room itself is lovely. I especially liked the bathroom. They do have a Keurig coffee machine in the room, but with Covid, they have removed the K-cups and coffee cups. The bed was only made with sheets, so after the first night, I found a thin comforter in a bag in the closet. That helped a lot with sleep the second night. We couldnt hear any Fremont Experience noise at night at all , which we enjoyed. Speaking of Fremont Experience, not the fault of the hotel, but Im not sure whats going on, but the crowds down there were pretty rough. Weve stayed downtown for years and Ive never felt uncomfortable down there at night. We were honestly back in our rooms at night by 11pm. We just didnt want to be walking around on Fremont.I didnt see any Covid measures being done at GN. No temps taken, except at check in. I didnt see any handwashing stations. Smoking is still permitted in the casino. There wasnt any housekeeping daily. The pool was awesome, as usual. We knew there was going to be a big wait for the pool on a holiday weekend. Also, it was 110 degrees outside. We reserved a Hideout day bed one day and a Hideout cabana another day. Service at the Hideout was amazing! We had a great time being served by Alyssa and Sophie. They were the best! Security was present at the pool to monitor mask compliance and pool capacity. They were nice about it, but very vigilant. There was a guy who explained the mask rules and pool capacity guidelines. I parked my butt in the pool most of the time so I didnt have to wear a mask. It was so hot, why would anyone want to wear a mask at the pool in 111 degree weather. Not me, but I understand, rules are rules.

This Is the classic spot that shows the best of old school Las Vegas fun with every modern comfort. An absolutely wonderful place with some of the best restaurants in the city. The hotel is incredibly well maintained and the accommodations range from the economical to the absolutely over the top elegant. The casino is much larger than you may suspect and is clean and bright - perfect at any hour day or night. The staff is friendly and helpful I am absolutely impressed with everything about the Golden Nugget. It’s a true classic and a hidden gem. Host Charles and team - Thank you for providing such a world class Las Vegas experience! I will certainly be back!

Golden Nugget is one of my favorite go to locations where I find a piece of mind, and can recompose myself. Truly, I feel at home more and more as I return to stay, play, and visit amongst familiar, well meaning adopted family members such as the employees, past and present tend to make me feel. I always arrive to open arms, and a firm shoulder to lean on. Definitely a no brainer when it comes to needing to feel pampered and cared for in an environment that will not compromise in quality and service. I can rest assured that Im in a clean, maintained and modern environment with like minded people who value luxury and a posh place to be entertained. I love you Golden Nugget! Thank you for all the fun times and amazing memories :)

Really great experience at the Nugget for a quick one night stay on the back of a stay at the strip.* We stayed in the Rush Tower. The room was modern, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was particularly nice* Plenty of slot machines and tables* Dining options are more limited than usual due to COVID, however there are still 4 or 5 on-site restaurants. We ate at Claim Jumper. Service was very good and the food, while not fancy, was tasty* The pool area looks awesome with the backdrop of a tank full of sharks and large fish. We did not get the chance to swim but it looked like it was a blast* I felt the GN did a solid job of spacing out the gamblers, cleaning machines, and attempting adhere to COVID-19 guidelinesOne note: The Fremont street area vibe is always energetic. There is no apparent drop in number of people on Fremont now versus pre-COVID. So social distancing is pretty much out the window if you venture out to the Fremont Street experience.

I chose it because it was a 4 star hotel on Fremont Street. We were very disappointed that the beds were a full size not queen. There was no fridge, coffee maker or microwave in the room. Two out of the four elevators worked, but the doors on both elevators would open and close five or six times before finally deciding to close, thank goodness they got that repaired rather quickly. Housekeeping was very quick to respond with any items requested. There is a hair dryer in the room finally found it on the closet shelf. The pool was great, lifeguards were very diligent in making sure people were wearing their masks in this Covid environment.

Have stayed here before on a few occasions and love it! We reserved a room in the Carson Tower and they gave us a complimentary upgrade to the Gold Tower which was really nice! Only downside is they only have ONE parking garage open and the Valet services are shut down due to COVID. I would recommend if you stay here during this time you park in the garage that’s open and leave your car there. We ended up leaving to go get dinner on the strip and when we came back everything was full and we had to pay for overnight parking across the street. Other than that I love it and this hotel gives me an awesome experience every time!!

The Nugget has always been more upscale compared to the other Downtown Hotels while still remaining in the center of all the Fremont Street action. Although they may soon get some major competition in the area, they are still definitely better than other Downtown Properties. The pool is one of the best pools in Vegas especially the Hideaway Pool. At this point the restaurants are limited especially during the week, but hopefully that will change soon. The rooms are clean, and modern, but at a more premium price. All in all you really can’t go wrong at the Nugget.

Loved our stay! Pool was amazing! Our particular room was a long trip from anywhere, but thats no ones fault. Ate at claim jumper twice during our stay. First time was great, the second time I got food poisoning. My girlfriend and I had almost the same exact thing except I had an over easy egg with mine (steak dinner/steak and egg breakfast). Had to have been the egg since my English muffin was the only other variable. But after I ran to our room, leaving my gf to pay the bill and had a miserable two hours.. everything else was amazing. This particular stay was in late August 2020. Stayed in October of 2019 and it was also great then. The bad egg is why 3 stars. I didnt complain or want to cause a problem. Im sure it was a freak occurrence but I still cant think of eggs without getting queasy lol.

This review is for the Golden Nugget Rush Lounge. The service was INCREDIBLE. I’m very particular about how I like my Bloody Mary. The lounge itself did not carry the mix I prefer so our absolutely adorable waitress Jillian (idk if I’m spelling it correctly ) went out into the regular casino to get the mix I like! I had also been suffering from a horrible migraine all day. After a few drinks, I mentioned it to her and said that my fiancé would close the bill because I needed to go lay down. She was so sweet! She immediately gets into her own bag to give me a pre-packaged thing of midol! She said it helped her when nothing else worked. I’ve been complaining about bad customer service everywhere else lately but here at the Rush lounge... that was not the case! The customer service here is...like I said at the beginning...INCREDIBLE! Thanks again Jillian!

Most of the highlights for this hotel were closed or very limited on number of guests . The hot tub, fitness center, Starbucks and few of the restaurants were closed and there was no room service / someone to come clean bring towels unless you were out of room. I had to be on a wait list for pool access and even then they said it would be at least an hour plus wait even for it just being myself entering. In your room there will not be a fridge to keep your food not a coffee maker but they will give bottles of water.Upon checking out I had went to the pool since there was no crowd and opened compared to day before due to it being chilly. The staff said I could not because I was no longer a guest at the hotel. In a matter of a few minutes I was considered no longer a guest. Thought this was rude and disappointing they would consider me no longer a guest and at least let me lay out by the pool when it was a matter of less then an hour. For this reason, my room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke, and overall didn’t feel very welcoming.I understand we are still covid regulations however as a hotel it should be listed on site what the limitations are and what’s no longer available for public use. Not us coming in excited expecting one outcome and upon check in finding out another.

My wife and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary, so I booked a suite on line. The photos of the room I chose were different, they had a microwave and a refrigerator this one didnt, but thats not all, the front desk agent, a disinterested young woman, sent us to the Carson tower, when our room was in the Gold tower. Then after carrying our luggage all over, we reached the right room which if you remember was not the room I chose. We had a beautiful view of the air conditioning duct work. The bath tub drained extremely slowly. We wanted to have a romantic dinner the night of our anniversary in the room, but was not informed that room service was not available. No maid service, not even a coffee maker. Then to top it off, the rooms sound proofing, proved inadequate, especially at 3 in the morning during the week. I chose the Golden Nugget, because of its Image and history. I truly wanted this to be a special occasion, but that ship has sailed. Another icon bites the dust.
