Rock Creek is a very peaceful place. The spirit of the pioneers who died here is strong. It is a great place to go and contemplate
Very special place for the Latter-day Saint history involving the handcart pioneers. I felt peace and enjoyed the beauty while camped here.
A great place for reflection and to remember.
Very beautiful! I could feel the Spirit here. This is a mass grave site. I love this place!
A little tricky to get there, as you have to travel on dirt/gravel roads. A beautiful spot along the Oregon/Mormon Trail. The site has a modest but stirring memorial to Mormon pioneers that died during a winter storm.
Large parking lot, able to accommodate large groups. We stayed in campsite A. Being able to play in the creek was very refreshing after 3 days of trekking the Mormon Pioneer trail. I purposely pitched my tent near rhe creek for the soothing sound of running water as I laid down to sleep.Lots of seating, benches, picnic tables and fire pits. We had about 170 in our group, and we didnt feel crowded.
Special place. Great spirit there.
Amazing spiritual experience. It was great to learn about the faith love and sacrifice of those that came before us.
Beer was warm
