We have been to this place last year n loved it so much that we came here again this labor day weekend. It was a very good experience at Dutch Wonderland. Perfect place for family fun. Kids love it. We were lil hesitant to go because of the virus thing. But they started reserve booking. so no one can just walk in. The staff made sure that the rides were never full. They always maintained distance while going in the rides. Also they made sure that every single person kids or adult use the hand sanitizer before getting in the rides. The bathrooms were very clean n neat. Really happy with the service they provided. They have all kinds of ride n perfect area for waterfun. Just carry good amount of drinking water with you to keep yourself hydrated. Its lil expensive in the park. Sometimes the vending machines might run out of water bottles because its summer n everyone wants cold water! :-) Follow us on Instagram: Sansari2324.

This was my first time taking my children ages4-12 and they all loved it. This place has a lot of different things to do for kids of all different ages. I even enjoyed getting on a couple rides with my teens. The bathrooms were excellent considering it being a busy Saturday. They require you to sanitize before getting on every ride which was a good thing to see. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back next year!

Great place for families with younger children. My parents brought me here many times as a kid so its great that I can now bring my own kids. And even a few of the same rides are still here and running strong! Admission prices are in line with most amusement parks but many times you can find deals to make it very reasonable. You wont find any crazy coasters here, so if youre looking for a coaster lovers heaven, youre better off at Hersheypark, Six Flags or Kings Dominion. This park is definitely geared more toward the younger crowd, but even adults can have fun with most of the attractions as well. Staff has always been friendly and helpful as well as weve never really had a negative experience. Definitely recommend Dutch Wonderland to anyone looking for a great family fun day!

Our 2yr old had a great time at the park. It is open and you are required to wear a mask and sanitize before going on a ride. The exception is the water park which operates without masks. Everyone was friendly and the park was clean. We visited during the week and access to attractions was extremely convenient. Each ride we tried was immediate seating and even though our child was too small to ride the top end rides, we could see that lines were minimal for those too. The age range for the park sides on the younger side as teens will outgrow the appeal of this park fairly quickly. The price range on tickets is fair. I wouldnt say you are getting tons of value, but you dont need to try to hard to get your moneys worth. Concessions were a mixed bag as some food/ drink seemed very reasonable while a cup of fruit was way overpriced.Overall, great experience for kids and they do have an option to apply your admission towards an upgrade to season passes which is awesome if you are testing the waters before committing to 3+ visits a season.

This was a really cute park. We had a great day. My only complaint would be that there wasn’t enough sanitizer around the park. They really only had it as you went on a ride. There should be some at ride entrances, ride exits, and just scattered around the park. Also, the quality of the sanitizer was not good. It was the sticky kind that just caked up on your hands, not sure how much alcohol is actually in that. Again, great park just would recommend fixing the sanitizer situation.

Dutch Wonderland is always I great time, especially for small children. We went when they opened, on a Sunday, and the lines werent bad at all. We started at Dukes Lagoon to ensure we had a spot in the shade. I would skip the monorail and gondola rides on very hot days, as the wait can be long and the monorail has no air or fans, and the gondola is in the sun most the time. My daughter who is 3, enjoys all the rides. Its definitely a full day of fun.

Been going here yearly since I was a child, but had very mixed experiences this season. There were some amazing staff members who went above and beyond to make everyones day wonderful. On the other hand, there were some staff members who were rude and short tempered. I saw one ride operator yelling and rolling eyes at all of the guests. I think Merlins Mayhem passenger count is about 50 people an hour due to the slow slow turnover time. A lot of places are off this season, so I understand some differences, but the negative attitude of some workers really puts a damper on a great park.

This is cute, definitely geared well towards 2-12 yr olds, no major lines, staff is average at best. I like that they let you bring water bottles in and are very family friendly. The games are decent, most all kids win something which is nice and easy. The store for souvenirs is over priced and way out of line with everything else. This isnt Hershey park but the prices at the gift shop think it is. Little bit of rain shut the whole place down just about and that was disappointing. We happened to catch the princess on her way out of the office on her way to story time and the only kids around at the time were mine, youd think shed stop and let them get a pic, nope just kept walking. I find that rude. Never been to a park where the characters dont stop for the kids, even dorney park has nicer staff thats not something to be proud of.I give this park 4 stars because its clean, well maintained for the most part though there were many out of order signs, and the pricing lines up with my expectation as far as the park itself. They lost a star because the gift shop and food was over priced and staff was barely alive, definitely not kid people. This place with proper management could easily be 5 star.Just needs a little tightening up.

We went on Sat. Aug 1st, it was a pleasantly warm, but cloudy day. I was looking to see how well CDC and social distancing guidelines were being followed. There were many rides and attractions that were closed. The rides had the 6ft distance markers on the ground, but I did not see or hear any crew or team members reminding or enforcing it to people that were not following it. There were a few people in the park that were wearing their mask down, I did hear 2 crew members gently remind them to put it up. I did see crew members walking around with a spray bottle and some wiping cloths, but I didnt see anyone using them all day. Every ride had a hand sanitizer dispenser, but no one, NOT ONE crew member told/asked/reminded us to use it. Rides had capacity limits and most had us spaced apart from other families. We went to the water park early, so it wasnt that crowded when we arrived. There were plenty of chairs and space around. Later in the day, absolutely no social distancing with seating or children interacting in the park. I didnt see any capacity limits.I dont recall a temperature check when we entered the park. Overall, for the most part, staff were friendly and welcoming. Remember, most are young and teenagers, so that says alot. Were not to eager to return this season.

Dutch Wonderland is PERFECT if you have young children (2-11). When your kids are too young for Six Flags but love theme parks, Dutch Wonderland is for you. This is our third summer visiting and the park is wonderful. Its never too crowded, its clean, the staff is friendly and best of all- the wait times for the rides are never too long. I couldnt imagine waiting for 30+ with young children at other more crowded theme parks. There is also a splash pad when you need to cool off (bring water shoes for certain slides in the splash area!). Were thinking of visiting again before the summer is out, the kids are begging to go!

To our surprise when we arrived they told us the policy had changed and they will not make any exception for anyone. Not even for a barely 3-year-old with autism. They make a display about donating to autism speaks but when it is time to do something for someone in front of them they reveal themselves as a bunch of phonies.

My group of 7 went to the park on Saturday August 1. Generally the day would have been very enjoyable except for an over zealous male employee at the water park with a clipboard. Not long after arriving at 1030 a m one member of our party commented that she had been approached by the aforementioned employee and was told she needed to wear a mask while in the water area ,even though she was with her 10 year old son and in a bathing suit. A few hours later another member of our party was also approached by the same employee and was also told she needed a mask on in the water park. She too was in a bathing suit and dripping wet and attending to our 3 grandchildren. At 330 p m half of the water park was shut off (no water running) for no apparent reason. One of the aforementioned women in our party was told by another employee at this time that she was not to use the remaining water events. Very disappointing, if Dutch Wonderland is going to restrict the water park for attending adults then they need to fully take responsibility for the children in the water park. If the owners of the park expect guests to wear masks in the water they should change their stated policies. The pools at the state parks allow guests to swim without masks so this has nothing to do with government policy.

So disappointing. AVOID! Way overpriced, many rides closed, incompetent staff. Good for 3-4 year olds max. It is criminal they charge entry fees for adults, who are really nothing more than chaperones here. I couldn’t believe I paid $200 for our family of 5 to visit this place. We were among the first people there at 9:40am arrival on a Monday morning - gates open at 10am. We got in and wandered around for a bit. Some rides were in order, but many many rides were closed (added photos below). One worker at a closed ride said it was broken and didn’t even know if it would be fixed that day (the slow little boats that go around a little lagoon. That was pretty much the theme of the day. Kind of a depressing place. Equally depressing were the empty vending machines that hadn’t been filled in a while and had the nerve to charge $4 for a Gatorade. If you’re coming to swim, forget about it. It’s more of a big splash pad. No pools. Some water toys for kids that spray water. We came with our bathing suits expecting water slides and a pool. Another disappointment.I really don’t know what else to say. The rides were boring for my kids aged 4-9, the food and snack options were ludicrously priced and very limited. Really nothing to see here. We arrived at 10am and were done by noon sharp. Trust me, you are better off to Spend the $200 exploring the rest that beautiful Lancaster, PA has to offer.
