Rideable year round! It can be an ant hill so be nice. Strongly suggest climbing the fire road and descending the single track.

Nice views, relatively mild hiking. No shade. Lots of mountain bikes. Be ware they arent the most mindful about sharing the trails (despite many options here).

Management and Maintenance Staff are above and beyond amazing! I lived here 12 years ago and recently moved back. I have great neighbors still here from 12 years ago, and I instantly made some great new neighbors recently. Highly recommend this living community.

Great views of the city and mountains. Many trails for hiking and biking. Exposed so wear sun sunscreen or long sleeve. Rattlesnake area so keep dogs leashed and be aware.

Great little hike after work. I met lots of very friendly people. Only downside is the number of people hiking and biking these trails.

Great place for an evening hike. Watch out for the bikes behind you in the rain can pick up very quickly so make sure to bring layers. It’s the perfect place for a sunset walk.

Cool vistas and a loop made this a great morning. Would definitely do it again, but would wait for a less soggy trail day! This is a great trail for hiking and mountain biking. Its nice and open so once you get to the top you have views of the surrounding area, including Red Rocks and downtown Denver. Great place to come to and get some exercise in and fresh air!

There arent many trees, and it usually isnt green since its in a semi-arid climate. Its nice to have these trails so near the city, though, and its fun to look out over everything below.

Beautiful easy hiking trail right in Lakewood. Gorgeous panoramic views of Red Rocks and mountain peaks. Would be an awesome place to watch the sunset. Downside is that it does attract a lot of people because its not too far from the city. Good place if youre looking for an easier trail for someone from out of town and dont have to much time on your hands.

Quick hike about 25 minutes to get to the top from trailhead. You should definitely catch a sunrise or sunset especially when sky is crystal clear. Once you get to the top enjoy views of Denver and golden. Highly recommended for families with kids, everyone will have a lot of fun!

Not normally green, but a great place to ride your mountain bike in the winter. The climb to the top and the Box of Rocks trail are good. If youre looking for mountain biking and hiking close to Denver, this is as good as it gets.

Used to be great, hiked here all my life....Much too crowed now. People dont follow rules, dogs off leash, no pickup of waste, bikers dont respect hikers, people cutting trails, leaving trash.....Soo sad.....

Great park for seasonal wildflowers, but it will soon be a whole lot less green. Fantastic views of Denver, Golden, and Red Rocks. As others have said there are almost no trees so protection from the sun is a must. Trail signage could use some work as there are a lot of unmarked trails. There are restrooms at several of the trailhead, and lots of parking with 4 lots.
