Unfortunately, dealing with this “company” has been a horrific experience! I called Mr. Grady and ordered a mount/pole on 3-2. I received the mount (knowingly in a color I did not care for) on 3-7. On 3-14, I still had not received the pole so I tried to contact Mr. Grady with his assurance that the pole would ship the next day (12 days after my order!). I asked him on 3-15 for an update, but I was ignored for most of the day. He eventually gave me a tracking number but when I tracked it, it showed that no package had beef received by UPS. Finally I got in touch with my credit card dispute department to begin the return/refund process and once I informed Mr. Grady of that by email, he promptly replied saying that he expected to be paid in full. After much debate in our house, my better half didn’t feel like fighting such an arrogant and clearly uncaring vendor who would only drag out the return process. So we waited and the pole finally arrived today (3-20), 18 days after my original order. On top of it all, Mr. Grady charged me an extra $10 for a color mount that clearly expressed to him that I didn’t want.I’m not sure how well the product itself works, because the pole didn’t arrive in time for our fishing trip, but the quality does seem to be lacking considering how much it cost. I would avoid doing business with this company at all costs! There are much more cost effective products out there with much higher rating!

There are many systems out there, but I did like the one piece motor mount that can be mounted on either the left or right depending on which one you order. Bolts right up to the existing motor mount, and is ready to roll! Really impressed with the system, was also extremely impressed with the customer service! Mike answered all of my questions and was the deciding factor in going with Dig INs system. The pole also comes with a T handle on top to help dig into some harder sand bottoms. Extremely happy with the purchase!

Extremely satisfied with dig in anchor system. Purchased transom mount and trolling motor mount with a 10 ft pole and 12 foot pole. System works great to anchor my 19 ft ranger bass boat in river current. The 12 foot pole arrived with the adjustable clamp broken and I called dig in anchors and they agreed to mail me a replacement clamp at no charge. Great product and great service. I bought through West Marine in Hampton VA and they also provided great service.

This is a got to have anchor system, QUICK, QUITE and EFFECTIVE for the type of fishing I do. I fish in very skinny saltwater or flats and this anchor and Pin pole allow me to quickly stop my drift when I hit a fish rich pocket or just need to anchor in deeper water very quietly to not spook the Speckled Trout. I never use a metal throw anchor on my boat with this system and never harm the sensitive grass beds like a metal throw anchor can. But what I love is that it is American Quality BuiltClay BaldwinSan Antonio Texas

I purchased a dig in shallow water anchor about two years ago because I could not afford the PP or Talon anchors. But I was surprised at the functionality of this anchor. I usually fish weed lines on the move with the TM, but when I find a place that I want fish and cast over and over again to a certain spot, this anchor helps me do it. Simply slide the pole down the holder and you are there. No ropes and you can concentrate on the target and not the constant corrections with the TM. Great buy!

Mike,Thanks for a great product. I have a small 14 foot pontoon boat I have set up for fishing and could not justify the cost of a Power Pole or Talon for this size of a boat. Your Shallow Water Anchor system was a much more reasonably priced alternative. I was able to use my new Shallow Water Anchors already a couple of times and they held my boat firmly in place, even in very choppy water. Your system is easy and fast to deploy and retrieve and was just what I needed for hassle free fishing.

I have been running these on my Skeeter bass boats for 5 years. They are high quality components with excellent fit and finish, they compliment any fishing boat. They have always held my 20 boat still in any condition. Also if you have a problem or question, you can call and you get the owner, not a recording or help desk operator. Mike is a great guy to deal with. I will not own a boat without one.

I purchased my Dig In Anchor 2 years ago and wouldnt be without them. I love em !! I put both anchors on the stern of my 16 foot Sea King boat which makes it easier and quicker to set or retrieve the poles. I no longer worry about tripping over anchor rope when Im moving around trying to land my fish. If you do a lot of fishing in shallow water, Dig In Anchors are a must have. Jim B in Oregon

I purchased this in October 2015. I use it here in New Orleans, La. We fish in the marshy area - Venice, Lafitte. It works great, because its a 2 part system. Its easy to store in my rod box. I fish in a local Bass club and now all the guys have them, of course I was the first! Mike Champagne

I have a 21 foot shallow sport and fish mostly around the Galveston Bay area. I first bought an 8 foot pole because I was fishing in 2 to 3 foot of water and did not want a lot of extra pole sticking up to snag fishing lines on. I love not pulling in anchor back in the boat and having to shake it in and out of the water to get the mud off! I found that when I was in five or 6 foot of water I was having to sync my pole too far down into the mud. So I bought a 12 foot pole. Now often times I will use the 12 foot pole to anchor the back of the boat and then use my 8 foot pole to position the front of the boat. The 12 footer is also great for anchoring up on deeper oyster reefs in 6-8 feet of water. It is far more environmentally friendly to use my Dig In Anchor than a tradition style that tear up the bottom. I Love my Dig In Anchors!

Love these anchors on my 2003 Tracker. Hold me fast in any windy condition I can fish in! From shallow weedy ponds in New England to huge Army Corp lakes in Indiana these anchors live up to the hype. Thanks Dig In!

We purchased our first DigIn anchor system with a 12-foot pole two years ago. We put it on the back of the boat. We fish the Rim Canal of Lake Okeechobee primarily for bluegills. The 12-ft pole works great because we have varying depths from 4 to 12 ft. With this on the back of the boat, where I fish, it operates very easily. Recently we purchased our second DigIn anchor system and put it on the front of the boat, where my husband fishes. We find that this holds us in position no matter how much wake we get from other boats or in strong winds. The ease with which this system works is unbelievable. We are both retired so it makes for an easy system to use, as opposed to throwing out heavy anchors. We could not be more pleased with our purchases.Weve been very impressed with the people at DigIn and their customer service. Theyve been very helpful and responsive, and when someone says they will call us back, they actually do!

Not to long ago, a buddy of mine and I installed a Dig In anchor bracket on the motor mounts of the 18 foot CC s we use to sight cast to stripers on the flats of Cape Cape in MA. One of the guys in our fly fishing club, who fishes half the year in Florida told us theyre becoming pretty popular down south, and we should give it a try. Up until then, most of the guys were dragging mushroom anchors to hold the boats long enough to get a cast in to cursing fish in shallow waters, sometimes two foot or less. The brackets were installed on both boats in less then fifteen minutes without a hitch. From the first time we sunk a pole into the sand, we knew this was going to be a game changer. Its fast, quiet, inexpensive compared to Talens and Power Poles, and most of all.....they work. Since then, four of our friends have added them to their boats, and as the word spreads, I see this as a must have for shallow water fishermen. The poles are sold separately, and come in various lengths. We choose the eight foot as its meets the needs for the flats in our vacinity. Nice design, great product.Vin Foti -- Board Member of the Cape Cod FlyRodders
