The 1 in Laguna Beach, CA was absolutely phenomenal I love to a customer service was incredible I will only go here from now on! They made my 30th birthday absolutely amazing!

Upscale and a delight. Parking can be challenging so plan ahead. Full bar. Comfortable seating, clean bathrooms. Friendly and helpful staff .Make sure you eat before the show they only offer sweet snacks. Great entertainment and good memories. You will love this place.

There isnt a bad seat in the house. Ok maybe a couple at the balcony. Theater is small, intimate. Shows always seem to provide great actors. Ticket prices are reasonable. So I take a chance on plays I wouldnt normally choose. Ive not been disappointed.

Very pretty theater with lots of great places to eat with in walking distance. The traffic in Laguna Canyon can be bad and parking can be tuff, but there are shuttles you can take. Free parking is available across the street from the theater if you can get to it. The sight lines to the stage are good but there is not much drop between rows in the mezzanine. Make sure the guy in front of you is short. All the plays we have seen there have been very good with great staging.

First rate productions. Ive seen some truly amazing plays here. Great sets. Actors like Melanie Griffith with Dakota Johnson in the Lobby. Cool Venue.

My first time at the Laguna playhouse .... wonderful theater very comfortable very accommodating excellent where ever you sad to see the performance ,,,, “ GIRLS NIGHT”!! I went with one of my friends and all we did was laugh and dance and sing and it was so age-appropriate I would say for like all women especially people 50 and above. It was so nice with this day and age to be able just to be free and able to laugh and smile and leave a performance feeling so good excellent cast great performance the actresses were amazing and I love the story I would definitely go again

The venue is on the smaller side. My HS theater was larger, but that adds a bit to the charm. Because its so small there isnt a bad seat in the house. I was kinda surprised they used stage mics for a play, but being the youngest patron by nearly 20yrs explained it.The drinks and snacks offered are as expensive as going to the LA Opera without being as high quality. And thats why I cant give the venue 5 stars.

This years Christmas panto is Peter Pan like you have never seen before. The story is for the kids but the jokes are for the adults. It has an amazing talented cast and you will get a great show. So groan, laugh, boo the villian and cheer for the hero. It is all about having fun and listen to some good music.

Girls Nite musical. So much fun. Great music. Actresses and hilarious. Small theater all seats are good. Price was right

Great place to watch a play! We have watched several here and every time its been a great experience.

What a gem. This Playhouse offers reasonably priced performances with top notch actors. Many whom you will recognize from TV or the big screen. All seats are “good seats”, really! Parking at times can be a challenge. Arrive early. They have a reasonably priced bar, an outside patio and numerous restaurants serving delicious food nearby.

The show was good Wallie P Blind U its an Amazing being human, and a great actor. I love the fact that he took the time to talk to our kids. We are and come from Human Options a Domestic Violence Shelter and thats all our kids were talking about! Thank you Pirate Wallie may God continue to bless you!

Just saw Lion in the Winter, probably one of the best productions yet. We have a subscription so we are regular attendees and love everything about the Laguna Playhouse.

I saw my favorite band, Rockapella, at this venue. The ushers were attentive, the box office folks were friendly, and they sell refreshments during intermission, which you can enjoy outside on their nice patio or bring it into the house as long as the drink is covered. I hope Rockapella returns to this venue! The band members seemed to enjoy being there.

This playhouse reminds me of the theaters from when I was a kid. The fact that they also host such a wide array acts makes it even better.

Been here twice and had a great time. Saw Aladdin in 2017, and Beauty and the beast this year at Christmas. Actors and actresses are awesome and great at what they do! Will definitely come back!

Cosy venue. Every seat has a great view of the stage.

Wish there was better parking. The theater was nice and the signature drinks for the play were great. The Beauty and the Beast play was so much fun. Kids and adults alike were interactive and fully entertained.

I love the Laguna Playhouse! Ive seen some amazing plays here including the wizard of OZ and the Judy Garland (End of the Rainbow) and they blew my mind. The theater is small and intimate and the people that come are very respectful. Unfortunately no photos for you guys since you cant take any inside!

A large group of us (24)went to see End Of The Rainbow, and LOVED it! Very nice facility, easy to get in and out. The sightlines were excellent. We could see all the action onstage. The raked seating made it so that no one had a problem seeing past the person sitting in front of them.The ushers and staff were all very helpful. The cast was amazing! The band, top notch. We all really enjoyed ourselves!

I never saw another butterfly was one of the most Breathtaking Ive ever seen the actors were fascinating left me in tears

Small theatre (ca. 400 seats) with generally high quality performances, and some intermittent gems. Not a lot of immediate parking. Arrive early for parking immediately adjacent to the venue, or allow time to walk from parking a few blocks away.

Great Tina Turner tribute performance

We have season tickets and normally love their productions. But last night we saw Blues in the Night. What a dissapointment! It was like elevator music version of the Blues. Completely lacking in authenticity or soul. We left at the intermission.

Currently ongoing construction makes this a challenge to navigate from parking to actually walking into the building. Im sure it will be much better once its finished.

Saw Million Dollar Quartet tonight. Not a bad seat in the house. And in the 20 years I have been going there, I dont think I have ever seen a bad show! Small ladies restroom but clean. There is a bar if you want to have a glass of wine or cocktail.

It is big enough to have fantastic, well staged live theater performances, and small enough to be more intimate and close to the action.

Nice place for entertaining

Love this venue for its surroundings and the intimate theater. Every seat has a good view of the stage. Staff are friendly and helpful. They MAY even be volunteers which makes it even better because they love theater and what they do. Prices are reasonable and the entertainment is great. Afterwards you can walk right down the street to the beach...check out the sunset (if you can time it right) or take in one of the many restaurants that Laguna has to offer.

Million Dollar Quartet. So exhilarating! There are no bad seats in the house! Comfortably air conditioned. Park your car North of town, take the free Summer Breeze bus to the Playhouse. Avoid the traffic and either high priced parking, or parking ,who knows where, and walk back to Theater. Marvelous!

Tonights production of Oliver was absolutely smashing! Fabulous ensemble of actors, voice, band and dance. Beautifully directed. Audience from 8-88 was totally engaged and entertained. Dont miss it this weekend.

Outstanding performances and the staff is very accommodating and welcoming. Plan on walking around before or after and enjoying the surrounding area as well.

For years I have bought ticket packages for the Lacuna Playhouse.This year they didnt let me pick seats at the time I ordered - I was suspicious.I got a voicemail today telling me they had SCREWED ME so I called and cancelled!These people want you to pay a year in advance for bad seats!BEWARE THE LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE BAIT-AND-SWITCH!!!Ill be going to the Segerstrom from now on!

Had the great pleasure of seeing Complexions Contemporary Ballet. Beyond description. The playhouse itself is a wonderful venue.

One of my favorite local venues for live performance. Not a bad seat in the house! Parking is convenient out back. You can sign up for email notifications of their season lineup. Keep an eye out for unusual and special performances. I saw Iron Butterfly there once and it was a blast!

The Laguna Playhouse is a smaller venue so it’s almost impossible to get a bad seat. The shows are often outstanding, reasonably priced and sometimes with with well known actors.

I Dig Rock-n-roll was very entertaining. Very talented cast. Excellent musicians.

A Laguna Beach cultural gem, the Playhouse books the best entertaining shows circulating the theater circuit and manages to put on new productions that charm, delight and sometimes take your breath away. Everyone visiting should catch a show, and everyone living in the area should get season tickets. Its that good!

The End of the Rainbow was beautifully portrayed. The Laguna Play House is a lovely place to see a play. It was nice to recieve complemenary gin and tonic upon entry & snacks upon departure.

Every seat is good and the temperature is comfortable. You can park next to the theatre. Some plays are better than others, but overall it is a great value.
