Beautiful location close to the beach. Very nice architectural building with absolutely lovely interior. Really enjoyed the expansive Granville Redmond exhibit. Best Ive ever seen. Usually only get to see one or at best two of his pieces at any one museum. Covers his entire painting and Hollywood film careers. Check out the permanent collection, its great.

Staffs are not goodPainter and painting should be different, I mean artist and paintings should be, every noble has different stories, such a thing I want to see the difference, it is adventure and excitement in my view of galleries in Laguna Beach arts museum. Lack of diversity in the colorful walls and lights the whole wall is beautiful but individual play separately.Indian summer isn’t matter for me but matters are something empty in his painting “ Thomas L. Hunter”.Christmas cards are we see as well as I seeThese paintings are all in one to be impressive but individually investigating isn’t pleasure to watch but definitely in a distance it is pleasure, definitely need a space and distance to read this walls attachments under the lights, taking some times in his painting which understanding of nodding in the afternoon but I still like to see his colors rather than shadows in the flame.I can understand his jobs are matters of colors not the strong strokes on the walls. In the end, it is matters of distance, it is his atmosphere not mine but I could understand what it isIf we see him without eyeglasses, his works are really meaningful, only I can enjoy it but as soon as I got my glasses to see clearly it is disappointing because what it is

This museum was such a delightful surprise! Weve been to Laguna tons of times but had never stopped by. We did on this trip because there was an exhibit we wanted to see and Im so glad we did. All of the art was wonderful and the gift shop had some darling items too - we picked up some holiday presents! The staff were so friendly too when we brought our baby with us.

A great museum with lots of inspiring California works. I take my college age kids to see art every time we get together no matter what city were in. This was icing on the cake for a beach day in Laguna. Staff is super friendly, the museum is bigger than it appears on the outside with lots of art and history.

I was a little bummed that they charge $7 to access the museum. Most art museums in Laguna Beach are free, like the Dr. Seuss Museum. But the gift shop at the Laguna Art Museum had some gorgeous artwork, all handcrafted by local artists. I would say go if you get a chance.

For art lovers this is a great museum to go. This museum art is representing Southern California artists of 20th and 21st century. The most ambient art is by Philip Dike. His art is amazing, you can see different styles from classic to abstract. This is small, but indeed, worth to go place.

Laguna Art Museum is located on Cliff Dr. next to Las Brisas. Its hard to miss! When we went they had the Elizabeth Turk exhibit and Lita Albuquerques particle horizon installation and a collection of California artwork. There are 3 floors to this building but the museum is small. We were done within 45 minutes.I wouldnt go out of the way to come here unless you happen to be in the area.

Review №61

Laguna Art Museum (LAM) appears rather small from the outside, but it houses 3 floors of art. The top floor is very small and you have a view of the entrance and one of the rooms. The bottom floor is dark and the bathroom is located here as well.It was the last day for the Wayne Thiebaud exhibit, so I headed over to view his art pieces before they were gone. They even had a small room with a few chairs to view an interview Thiebaud had about his art and its impact on modern culture. The LAM is very open. Its minimalistic design and 1 center bench in the major rooms makes it feel much larger. The staff is kind and the location is perfect. Keep the museum going and donate.

Came here when it was free admission day and Im glad I did! I wouldve felt a little ripped off if we had paid the regular $7 admission each person but Yelp check-in offers 50% off admission too! This museum is fairly small so thats why I feel the admission is a little high. It is right next to the beach though so its a nice side venture!Parking is almost nonexistent since its at the beach so youll need to park in metered spots which are $1.25 an hour.I would suggest to wait for free admission days which seems like its once a month! :)
