Great place to explore your need for speed! The staff was amazing! They helped me and my team get ready for our race and supply us with everything we need. The lady at the front, Alex, was super nice and accommodating. A great place for competitive friends to gather and see who is actually better! Highly recommend! Will return regularly

Pageant of the Masters was a wonderful magical experience as for the crowd that was in my section, quite precocious if they did not serve alcohol it would go a long ways to improving the atmosphere, therefore making it that much more enjoyable just so you know its not just my own take on it many people around me were talking about how they were put out because of people talking over the music, singing and performance and even the staff having to go after several rude and inconsiderate people taking pictures and videos during the performance which if youve ever been really takes away from the experience which is otherwise quite surreal and captivating

The Pageant of the Masters is one of the most beautiful displays of art I have ever seen. The way the actors bring the paintings and sculptures to life is amazing. I strive to attend every year. The amphitheater is the perfect setting and atmosphere to experience all they provide. Thank you to all involved in the production.

Always was a great event- However customer service is awful. When a refund was owed to us for the 2020 year (cancelled in May) it’s July- no refund and they won’t return an email either. Thank goodness my credit card company let me open a dispute and refunded me while they work out the kinks. We won’t be returning any time soon.

Bring binoculars, warm layers, snacks, and drinks. But not too much to drink. The womens restroom gets so busy that it got sketchy fast. And dont bring young kids. The show doesnt start until after dark at 8:30pm, so there were some tired kids crying before the show even began last night.

Every year is a new theme. This year is Under the Sun Selected works of arts and statues are selected to be part of the show. You have to see it to believe it! No amount of reading or explanation of what Pageant of the Masters is can prepare you for how absolutely incredible this show is. Binoculars are helpful especially if youre in the upper two tiers. You can come early and bring food and drinks to enjoy on the festival grounds; just make sure you bring your drinks in plastic cups once you go into the POTM ticketed venue. Enjoy the show!

Great art and well displayed. Lots of variety and prices. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Most of it is covered, but not the pageant, so be prepared for being outdoors for the part. I highly recommend a sweater and something soft to sit on as the chairs are hard and the pageant is long. You will be very entertained by the pageant though, it is well worth going and soi much fun.

We scored with an amazing parking spot, but had we not been so blessed, we were tipped off to park at nearby Suzi Qs for less. The artists showcased are so well-gifted, and it was nice and comfortable to browse through their boutique booths. We arrived about 7:45 and felt like it was plenty of time, but many arrive earlier to view and experience more fully before showtime (which was 8:30 on our night). The performance was incredibly well-done. We were in the very back but had binoculars for scenes/pieces for which we felt we wanted to see more detail, and it was still a great experience. Amazing the show is so exceptional considering all the performers and art contributors volunteer! We especially loved the Narrator, who performs live with the show each showing. Orchestra was also amazing! We ate our dinner comfortably in our seats before the performance . I was glad I brought TWO jackets AND a blanket (I run cold), but my husband did just fine with a light jacket. Also cool: free water refills! So happy about that! We also had nice conversations and interactions with other patrons. And another bonus: my niece was one of the statues, so it was a lot of added fun. They will offer backstage tours to friends and family, I understand, so jump on that if you can!

Spent the evening sipping wine and enjoying a beautiful live art performance. Each year pieces of art are selected to align with the theme. The art comes to life quite literally as people place themselves within the art displayed and become part of the masterpiece. The talented (still) reenactments and lighting make for an excellent show. If you like art and outdoor venues near the beach, you will have an enjoyable experience. Prior to the show there is an exhibit for those who want to add to their collection.

I have not attended the pageant in over 10 years I was delightfully surprised by all the upgrades not only to the facilities but of the overall presentation of the event throughout. Theres nothing quite like the Pageant and an evening under the stars in Laguna Beach. The art show beforehand featured a varied group of artists and everyone was very friendly and talkative as you walked by. We used the Laguna Beach tram which made getting in and out easier. The afternoon maybe hot going in but definitely dress for cooler weather with lightweight long pants and lightweight jacket. Theres also been an improvement in the food options available.

Laguna Beach is the go to place to experience art of every description. Including the stunning beauty of this treasured beach community. Summertime is by far the best time to drink in the wonders of this Seaside gem. With the Festival of Arts and Pageant of Masters as an absolute must see. Get your tickets early then take in all the exhibits and enjoy a nice dinner before the final delight, the Pageant of Masters. A night to remember. Enjoy a production that will be talked about as the highlight of a midsummers dream come true. California old school artistry is on full display here still spreading good vibes after all these years. Love it and will go again and again when I want to remember the why I love Southern California.

This was my first time at this festival. It was great! I was very impressed by the art outside as well as by the actual show. It was awe-inspiring. I loved it. Parking can be challenging, so give yourself enough time to find a parking spot or to park somewhere where there is a shuttle. I didnt know it was an outdoor theater, and it may be cool at night, so if you get cold easily, take a sweater or a blanket (or both). Also, take binoculars. They rent them there, but it costs $10.

Pagent of the masters is amazing, I didnt realize it really existed until last night. I thought it was a goofy story line made up by the writers of arrested development. Im a charter bus driver who suddenly landed a ticket when one of the senior citizens in my group couldnt make the show. I wasnt sure what to expect, then it blew my mind. I feel like the volunteers should get something for all the time they put in, for that level of professionalism its a shame to send them home empty handed.

A must for everyone. Very difficult to explain in words. It is a theatrical narrative dramatic presentation of living art replication of masterpieces throughout history presented in the most aesthetic form. Pieced together in a story of The Time Machine written by HG Wells. With the last presentation of The Last Supper which if youre an art lover would leave you in tears. After attending you understand how art fits into every area of our lives. You yourself are art. I myself am a personal trainer and help people render the best DNA expression of themselves through exercise and after attending the pageant of the Masters. I feel it has made me a better personal trainer and knowing how to sculpt a human body.

The show is a must see for Southern California in the summer. My advice is to get there early and get a good parking space so you dont get stressed about it. Bring a sweater because it gets chilly at night. Try one of the many restaurants within walking distance. If you buy the closest or midrange seats, you can appreciate the experience a whole lot better. If you are too far back, everything looks like a painting or the statue and you dont get the full effect. During the day and evening, you can also browse the artists wares on the grounds.

Beautiful venue... It lost something... I would love for the administration to offer member or director level membership level, information that they are having private events Came early but no tables were available due to a private party. I would have like to know before hand so I do not have to be blindsided. This was not the first time. Private Supporter like us should not feel this way. Being treated fairly is more important then a luncheon to me. Our opinion of course... I did speak to someone, but no follow up.

The shows are very well thought out and written- a great take on classic art. The only thing that keeps me from giving it that 5th star is lack of diversity. I get that the location plays a role since they probably cast locals, but even the artwork presented was only diverse in that it featured different artists from different time periods. No people of color represented in any way. Id love to see them get a broader palate.

I dont know how its done & Ive been 2 more them a few shows. The scenes r exquisite. The one that will stay with me till the Lord calls me was the dragon Festival. I was mesmerized! They had dragons everywhere. They show u the framed picture, then the artist come out & take there place in the large frame? Turn off the lights so the stage is dark....THEN? On come on the picture lights as if the picture is on a wall....u do not see artist or the picture scene. U see the framed picture on a grander scale. There breathtaking. I love this time of year. Go! U must see this b-4 its 2 late.
