We went to see the Modern Dance Primitive Light show at the theater. We really enjoyed the combination of modern dance, live music, and the venue. Very entertaining evening!

It was a great experience square dancing highly recommend this to anyone who loves to dance second Thursday of each month. if you try it youll love it .

This is an absolutely beautiful building and the sound inside is fantastic. If there were some slightly more comfortable seats I would make this one of my most favorite places in Knoxville to see a quiet and personal show.

Charming small theatre performing in an old church building adjoining the University of Tennessee campus. The sponsoring organization presents mostly folk singing entertainers, with emphasis on programs of historic East Tennessee music and dance.

I attended a Square Dance and a wedding reception here. What a cool space. Knoxville is fortunate to have it.

Sweet spot to hear a variety of roots music in a venue so small that most everyone gets a good seat. Considering their lack of space and tight budget, they do a good job of serving the community.

4-19-2018 Saw Tim OBrien at Laurel Theatre. Great Venue. Unbelievable acoustics. Literally not a bad seat in the room. Very intimate.

Utilized The Laurel Theater as the space for my 88 person wedding ceremony and reception this past weekend. The quirky yet beautiful space could not have suited us as a couple more perfectly. A venue that is thousands of dollars cheaper than almost all other local venues and the money helps them keep the Laurel going.

Beautiful old church in Fort sanders. Lots of events here, a couple of my favorite are the Wednesday swing dance nights, and any Circle Modern Dance performance, light modern dance primitive light.
