A fine example of brutalist architecture complete with more exposed concrete than you can shake trowel at, expressed vertical circulation paths & building systems that are useful illustrations of the building’s guts, and an utter rejection of adornment, both inside and out. It’s a fine place to spend five years learning to be an architect and any visual similarity to a penitentiary is completely coincidental, I’m sure. I know that I speak for every UT School of Architecture grad when I say that we love you A&A building!
