Chefs table was great. They have fun with the food and make it really enjoyable. It is always an experience, new items and specials. I wish I lived closer.

This is one of my all time favorite places. Every meal and there have been many since they have opened has been amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful and are so welcoming you will soon find yourself feeling like you are apart of the Machina family. I talk about how much I love Machina at work, so.much, that my coworkers give me gift cards for holidays, my birthday and nursing week to Machina. I love that they are small plates and farm to table restaurant, which fosters the spirit of community dinning. Their drinks are creative and delicious. I love that they support the local artists in the area and because of Machina, I have been introduced to artist that I would have never known about. I am a southern girl and back home biscuits are almost a religion and the Machina biscuits are like a taste of home. If I am craving biscuits, I just head on over to Machina for my southern girl fix. The best advice I can offer to a fellow dinner is come hungry and always try the specials with at least 2 or 3 other dishes and dont forget the delicious drinks.

Very disappointed with myself for not going here sooner. My wife and I went with another couple. We had a fabulous time! The food was outstanding, the atmosphere is spot on! The wait staff is very friendly. We will definitely be returning for some more delicious food soon.

First time here and it was pretty good. I had a Hawaiian layover? Pineapple refreshing summer drink with peppercorn, very good. We had the scotch egg, duck cassoulet, Korean pancakes, and trout. Overall it was pretty good. The reason why its not getting a five star is because there was a lack of seasoning (salt) on three of our dishes. Service is really good and I like the ambience. We were also at the bar and that was fantastic.

I sat at the bar on their first day open to the public. Pretty busy for a Tuesday night but service was attentive and welcoming. Cool art and great atmosphere. Creative cocktails prepared with attention to detail. They get really fresh seafood, offering oysters on the half shell and rotating types of sushi rolls. I cant wait to try more food. This is high end fare at reasonable prices, will surely become a regular spot for me.I love that they bring the bill in old sci fi paperbacks!UPDATE June 2019: They do seasonal menus. The early summer menu just came out and its fantastic. They have extended hours now, with reduced prices during happy hour 4-6. They also host 7 course themed dinners once a month (I think?) That i hope to try soon. This place just keeps getting better!

Machina is exactly what Keene needs, and continues to provide it during the pandemic. The food menu has new surprises every week while keeping a few old favorites, and the drinks are the best around. The clean, airy feel of the new outdoor seating is refreshing, and the staff continue their fantastic service with good health and safety protocols.

I have been a few times now and think I finally have tried everything on the menu. While I definitely have favorites (that I will miss when their season changes and so does the menu), nothing on the menu disappointed. I have gone with a small group and we split a bunch of items (which is how I was able to make my own sample plate in the picture) and also gone alone to have a snack at the bar before a meeting. Always tasty.While I can’t quite make the same claim on the bar menu I will say everything I have tried was clearly made with care and a high attention to detail. While we are spoiled with a lot of great restaurants in this area, the food is unlike anything else offered in the area and the drinks are without equal.

Staff is so friendly and during covid that is hard to find. Very clean environment. The food was great. Portions are small but there is nothing wrong with that! More opportunity to try more things. The biscuits are amazing and the chicken pot stickers are soooo Good!

Really interesting experience, and one of the best cocktails Ive ever had! They made a real Corpse Reviver No. 2, with absinthe wash and all. The menu was an experimental selection because of the night we chose, and most of it was really good. They are very receptive to feedback. The decor/artwork in the place is great as well!

Party of four ate there last night. Appetizers were on point - potstickers, spring rolls, and the best scallops Ive ever had!! Two of us ordered the Petite Tenderloin which was delicious but way oversalted in our opinions.I do cook at home most nights and Im not afraid to use salt so I trust my palate on this one. The other two people had the Bulgogi Bowl and raved about it. Desserts were the Chocolate Torte(hands down everyones fav),Gooseberry Fool (delish although more of sample than a full serving) and 2 Cauldron Cakes which both people thought were dry. Cocktails were fabulous. Server was very attentive and pleasant. Overall, great experience - four stars because of salt and dry cake.

Fantastic experience! Went on a Tuesday which was their testing menu day. They try new things to potentially add to the menu so the sizes are small, tapas style and very reasonably priced. Can try lots of things like that. Loved the food, loved the service!

Sitting directly under an air conditioner vent made our visit a little chilly, but the ambience is a great change of pace for Keene and the drinks are fantastic. Very much looking forward to multiple return visits.

Everything here is delicious AND healthy. The cocktails are amazing, as is the atmosphere. The lunches are fantastic, too! Hands down, my favorite restaurant in town.

Machina Art Bar in Keene NH is one of the most up and coming restaurant and bars in the area! The atmosphere and people are hip and happening. Drinks are tastefully prepared with locally sourced foods and fresh drink choices, from seasonal specials to tasteful classics. I really enjoyed my visit to this great addition to the local Keene establishments. I’m so glad the Keene area has this venue to go see live performers and smooth moods. 100% effort on this addition to the local night life!!

Really fantastic, the menu is great and the drinks are spot on. Best in town, and no empty tables.This place is well worth a visit or 24. Can’t wait to go back. You’d have to be a complete moron to not live it. Do your self a favor and get in ASAP.

The ambiance in both sides (Kitchen and ArtBar) is really unbeaten in the area. Its upscale yet approachable, draws you in from the street. Service has been excellent. Been in with a few different groups and all were impressed, all expressed definite desire to make it a regular stop. Its just what downtown Keene was missing. Excited to see each seasonal menu and farm to table dinners. The spring crispy potatoes were a total hit.

It was good, but price for everything was equivalent to NYC, but quality more like imitation NYC. Spent $50 on one beer a mussel appetizer and 3 small, mostly fat lamb buttons with mashed potatoes, left hungry. I am glad they are an option in Keene, but will probably only go there iagain if I get sick and tired of everywhere else in Keene. It’s a poor value for what you get. But it is good, which is why I’m torn. Just can’t justify the price for food that is equivalent elsewhere in town.

The food was delicious. The portions are small and the prices are high (about $10-13 for a plate) so plan on getting multiple rounds of food and its definitely not a place for someone ballin on a budget. Worth every dollar in my opinion because the food is that good. Its a great place for a date if youre looking for a relaxed and high class vibe. 10/10 would dine again

Outstanding food, service and atmosphere!

A little post modernist hipster kinda place but manages to have amazing food and solid atmosphere at fairly high prices. You get what you pay for here.

Theres a lot to say here, but Ill stick to the points.Avoid the eggs beni and any egg that isnt basic. The server was probably new to the entire industry, and while fun and pleasant, not very competent. Im talking two tables and two servers, not a busy morning. The food was subpar, and the $3 black coffee came in well loved mugs that should really be replaced. I have little doubt that this will be a nice place in the future to grab breakfast and duck out, but as it stands I somehow spent $30, threw away an entire plate of food, and still had to go home and make breakfast for myself. Good luck, really, seems other people dig the place.

We attended the “Life on the Veg” tasting dinner with wine pairing last night and it was amazing! Fresh, seasonal, innovative, beautiful and delicious, with some real surprises. Highly recommend.

Went to brunch here on Saturday with my wife some friends and their young daughter and had an absolutely wonderful time. The wait staff was tremendous and prompt. They were willing to help with a paper bowl for the little one and very attentive the whole time. We ordered the breakfast tacos, eggs Benedict, Apple pancakes, French toast and brown bread. All of it was great with highlights being the brown bread which was definitely made from high quality ingredients and served hot griddled with an awesome jam a great value at only $4 and the eggs Benedict served over excellent polenta instead of the standard English muffin with pancetta. My wife loved her breakfast tacos and was impressed by the high quality tortillas and black beans. Everything was extremely well executed and I would highly recommend brunch at Machina kitchen!

Machina Arts Kitchen & Art Bar are fabulous additions to the NH Monadnock region. Local sourcing is a great part of their commitment to our community. The food is delectable, and well-presented. The specialty cocktails are outrageously good, and the service is meticulous. Their top shelf is well-stocked, and their menus change with the growing seasons. This spring I had fiddleheads prepared as never before; with only a hint of the bitterness that was characteristic of my previous encounters; they were simply the best Ive ever tasted. Do yourself a favor and drop in to the bar for some small plates, and great drinks. Im sure youll love it.

Great place for date night. The bar is open, friendly and relaxing.The signature cocktails are fantastic! I had the cherry manhatten and the expresso martini. My husband had the mai thai and the painkiller. All were a step above!Our waitress ( I believe was Kristen) was top notch.It was even great to see the chef/ owner come out to help when the bar was really busy.As far as food... The chicken schnitzel was ok...i didnt care for the presentation....you could tell it was made with love and passion. It was pounded out perfectly and breaded nicely. But the black rice mushroom risotto was to die for!!! It was creamy without cheese, percectly cooked rice also it had a little crunch and mushrooms. My description is not doing it justice.Really ....stop by here for your next date night or any night..its sure to have something youll fall in love with.And not to mention the artwork is awww inspiring!

I was lucky to get into the soft opening and you never would have known this was their first night.The staff is very professional and many of them you will recognize as familiar faces from other high end restaurants in keene.The small plates were very reasonably priced and the portions are a good size. All the food I tried was incredible. If you have had Jordans food before you know how good it will be. He brought the same focus on local food to this restaurant as he did to his farm dinners.The cocktails are very good, they are carefully crafted and absolutely awesome.So excited to have this in keene!

Machina knocked my socks off, especially considering theyd only been open for a couple days prior to my first visit. The food is exquisitely creative, well-prepared, and beautifully plated, and the cocktails may prove to be the best in town. Grab a seat at the bar and prepare to be mesmerized by the craftsmanship that goes into the mixology.If youre not sure what to get, try the Confit Duck Cassoulet. Probably the best dish Ive had in the last 12 months.
