This is aura good place to spend time with your friends and homie lol oh sometimes you have to wait in line for about 30 minutes but went you get into the club you have fun it’s a fun time

By far best KC nightclub out there, great service, awesome bottle girls, bouncers are very cool and owner stu is by far the coolest. Highly recommend coming here for an insane and fun experience.

Not a lot of turnout, overly bossy bouncers, and overpriced drinks. If you enjoy having a good night, dont go here. It is not worth your time or your money.

AURA is the premier night club in KC... HANDS DOWN! Security does an amazing job of making sure everyone is safe. The servers are extremely professional and will make sure you have a memorable night. The lighting effects are completely unique. Ive never seen lasers bounce off of balls and cover an entire dance floor. If youre having a night out in the city do yourself a favor and make this the place where you end your night.

Really enjoy coming to Aura!I’ve had some of the funnest and most memorable moments with my girlfriends here. Specially love coming to Latino nights on Thursdays. They bring some of the hottest DJs and play a mix of the latest reggeaton, bachata, few merengue and salsa. Also hip hop!Thursday nights are probably the most diverse crowd. Love seeing people from all ethnicities loving the Latin rhythms! Expect it to be packed but still enough space to dance and have a good time.Environment is dark with lots of bright strobe lights.Recently met the owner of Aura and he is a decent guy. Can definitely tell he cares about this bar, the crowd coming in and employees!We’ll be back!

Aura is amazing. I had my 21st birthday there and the whole staff was very professional and kind! I had called Aura to set this up and they made sure everything was taken care of for me, kept in contact with me until the day after to thank me for coming! Bailey, my bottle girl, was amazing. She gave me her number that way she could be easily reached throughout the night cause it was packed. Very great experience.

No complaints here. If youre a local, definitely go experience this club. If youre a visitor from out of town, stop in and make some memories.

I’ll be honest... I’ve had my share of club days and go more for the music or a particular DJ I’m a fan of is in town. Being around the scene now damn near 20 years from festivals to the old school underground raves.. This place is for the fan and caters to you enjoying your night. Plus the DJ is basically in your face so they tend to get lit .... plus everyone there and the staff is all about good vibes! They do a good job at keeping the negative rift-rat away that you tend to have at a lot of club scenes open to the general public.

Aura is easily my favorite night club in KC! The atmosphere resembles a Las Vegas nightclub, the drinks are on point & the staffs always on their game. I love how the owner is always there & walks around taking high quality pictures and posts online for you to save. Also, there’s a photo booth which is incredible. Overall, would def recommend if you like good music & good vibes!

Unlike some of the other reviews, I have never once had a bad experience at Aura. The sound system is legit, the lighting effects are second to none in KC, and the service is fantastic.Granted, I dont show up trying to negotiate cover charges... I also wear a collar when I leave the house for a night out.The drinks are incredibly affordable here, and bottle service is in line with the market (sometimes better when you behave right and show up with others who do the same).If you cant swing a $6 drink, stay home.If you want to enjoy one of the best dance/EDM clubs in town, try Aura.There is definitely NO RACISM/DISCRIMINATION going on here. Just take a look at the publicly posted photo albums. Plenty of color and orientation abound.Theres a reason why this club pulls some of the best talent, and theres a bunch of KC Nightlife people who understand it.Great job, Stuart. Keep it up.

I live out of town 3 hours away, but I’ve been to Aura a couple times for a concert. Not only were the bouncers/security friendly and professional, but the bartenders and staff inside were as well. It was a little packed but i expected it from The Best Nightclub in KC, and the headliner brought a ton of people in. The owner has done a great job with all the renovations and keeping up the inside of the place!

I have been to Aura Nightclub located in KC, many many times. I have had NO BAD EXPERIENCE! This is a spot that I would bring my out of town friends and family to, with no worries at all. Great spot, great music and great fun!

The salsa night is wonderful. There is a large smoking patio in the back which could be cleaned up. The bathrooms are always clean.

I love going to Aura, I’ve never had bad a experience at this place, everyone that works at Aura are so classy. The owner is so awesome and love meeting attending guests. I can’t wait to be back and rage at this venue.

I was visiting from LA (where we have amazing clubs), and Aura was right up there with them, if not, I would say even better. Great music and vibes. Can’t wait to go back when I visit KC in the summer!!

This is hands down Kansas City’s best night club it brings diversity into the music scene! The bottle service is amazing, the bottle service staff is the best I’ve encountered. But the bartenders if you don’t have a table are super friendly and fun and will be dancing behind the bar with you while slanging the best drinks! Prices are reasonable and affordable. They have the best production in Kansas City hands down. Always an amazing time at aura!

I love the new lighting they installed this year! It’s always super packed and the bartenders are so nice. There’s never a long wait to get in either.

Very rude staff! Wouldn’t let certain people in because of “what they were wearing” but let the next person that had the exact colors on and more of that certain color in the club....I was in this club for 10 minutes and was ready to leave. (Couldn’t due to me being a DD)... The place kept letting people in not sure what the max is.. I could barely move.. The staff would yell out move when they needed to get through the crowd... Very trashy! I wish I could give it no stars..Will not recommend this club to anyone!Both people had the same solid red shirt on..the only difference is the one that got in had a red shirt and red pants on and they were not fitted.... I went in the club and a dress code was definitely not followed! So Mr. Owner save your typing...

Aura nightclub is definitely the place to be for a night out! I’ve been going here for years and am never disappointed. The lights are incredible, staff is always super professional and respectful and make every night a fun experience no matter the occasion. The music is always incredible and play a variety of music for all taste. Saturday nights are especially fun for me cause they bring in amazing DJs from around the world. The bartenders are always super attentive & offer smiles the entire night! I never feel out of place :) I love bringing people to Aura!!

There are a lot of places to go in Kansas City as far as the bar scene goes, but aura has created a name for itself... I always joke and say it’s the new age cheers, “where everyone knows your name” that’s the best way I can describe it :) the lights, the djs, it’s all amazing but to me and to a lot of my friends that go, it’s a place where you go and it doesn’t just feel like a bar/club; it feels like a place to hangout with your friends and family (including all staff and owner) ️ Much love to this place. Hands down the best production in town! The lighting is state-of-the-art, and the sound system is ridiculous! The drinks are fairly priced (especially for a nightclub)! I mean, wells are only $6 and it’s the same in most of Westport. The bottle service makes you feel like a real VIP and the bottle servers are friendly and attentive. This place offers an exclusive VIP experience without feeling stuffy or snobby. Aura has always been my go-to!

I was disappointed by my experience last night. We were treated poorly by staff. It was not worth the $10 cover.

A group of us came down from Nebraska for a bachelorette party. We got a table in the VIP section and instantly got approached by the head of security, Roy, and he told us who he was and to come to him if we need ANYTHING. We felt SO comfortable, safe, and taken care of. He was extremely polite, and I would go back to that club in an instant because of him (along with many other reasons). Great club, great staff all around, and a great night for our bride! Thank you Roy and Aura night club!

Dont spend your money. 10$ cover for friday night and 4 people in the club at 11pm just before the super bowl. Not impressed.

Everything about this club makes it a great place to hang out. Great music, production, management, prices, and security. Whether I have a table, or go in for a chill night out... I always feel safe and have a blast. Thursday is Latin night, Friday is club hits and Saturday is EDM.... EDM is my favorite, and you really cant beat Aura. EVEN OUT OF KC.

My first trip to Aura was an absolute success. It is a fun and up-beat club with a great DJ. The security team was very professional and seemed to be on top of their game. The bartenders are attentive and do well with the amount of people that were requesting drinks. The club has a VIP lounge and a few booths. The girls working there, bring out bottles with sparklers which is a neat touch for celebrations. The dance floor is dead center of the club next to a large DJ booth. There are a couple of platforms as well for women (only) to dance on. It was a good diverse mix of people. Parking can be challenging which is expected.

Great place to have fun let loose and Dance the night away went last saturday when Dj Notaker was there and got bottle service got a vip table a liter bottle of ciroc free mixers(2 curaffes) and 10 people in for free when we booked it total cost after the 18% gratuity was $320 but thats because we chose the more expensive liquor and 6 red bulls .

I had not been to Aura but found them on Google with the best rating of any club in KC so we decided to check it out. I like that the staff are dressed well and professional, you can tell its a well run establishment.There are 3 separate bars inside to get drinks as well as bottle service or table service. We should have called ahead or reserved a table online since the tables were all sold out by the time we arrived but that was simply because I did not know about it. The girls all had fun dancing, I enjoyed the upscale atmosphere and we will make sure to reserve a table for our next visit!

I was recently there to celebrate my 40th birthday with a group of friends. I couldnt have asked for a better night. If you go get bottle service, it is worth every penny and then some. The staff were on top of everything, we wanted for nothing. The DJs were awesome, there was never a time you werent dancing, either in your seat or on the floor! I couldnt recommend this club more! a if I could give more than five stars I would. The owner Stuart, was very easy to work with and very accommodating. The environment will take you straight to a club in Vegas! We always felt safe and well taken care of. Great experience. Will definitely be back! The dress code is much more lax than places Ive been to in Vegas so as long as you dont dress like a hoodlum or lazy college student living in your parents basement youll be fine! Dress to impress, youre not going to Walmart people! And trust me when I say there is no discrimination there, race, age, sex or otherwise. I brought in a group of people of all ages, genders and races and not once have we ever felt discriminated against. Just check Aura out, you will not be disappointed.

Ive been going to aura for years and honestly was not too big of a fan back then.But, ever since Stuart took ownership, I have only seen improvements that have made this club, the BEST in the city with their incredible sound system, and state of the art lighting! I literally notice additional lighting everytime I am up there. I also want to thank Stuart for playing a major part in the EDM scene here in KC! Great club to have national and international DJs drop by with a high caliber production. Overall, always a great experience at this venue.

I’ve been going to Aura since it first opened, and it truly only continues to get better! It’s the only spot that’s a must-do when I come back to visit KC. Classy atmosphere, amazing staff, killer music, and lighting/sound system that is on par with Vegas clubs.
