There must be some reason why I love this park! Mainly its because I got to enjoy the thrills in the Kansas City area through this place. I was left happy when I went there. The food is actually good. Cotton Blossom needs to work on customer service but it still has great food, and I enjoyed earning the gigantic narwhal plush in the balloon dart game and I thought it was awfully cute. Cyclone Sams is the coolest ride and brings a lot of excitement! I go on the ride quite often and never throw up. I also think the Timber Wolf is epic and the Patriot is quite cool too. However, theres one thing missing... bubble tea! Thats the only thing missing. Anyways, this is one of the best thrill parks Ive been too, even if I liked Castles n Coasters better.

EVERYBODY that works there is amazingly friendly! The employees respect as the person I aspire to be and as an Ambassador. Employees get to enjoy the park and its guest as the Ambassadors keep the park safe and sanitary throughout the business hours. Its kinda sad the season has to end Labor Day, but if anytime I guarantee to return and apply to become an Ambassador. I really enjoyed myself and felt blessed to provide services

Lines were extremely long. We were prepared for that being as we went the last day of the season they were open. What we didnt think about was the fact that all of the rides were unable to be filled at capacity due to Covid-19 social distancing standards. We were only able to ride on two rides in 4 hours. They should also install more outdoor fans for people while standing in line. It gets so hot out there with little breeze to help cool you down.

We have come to Worlds of Fun annually with our daughter. This year none of her friends could come so I went. Im very impressed on how they are handling COVID in a large amusement park. They are frequently disinfecting rides which shows attention to their processes. They are constantly reminding guests to wear masks correctly and to social distance in the lines. Given a very difficult year for any social activity, Worlds of Fun and Cedar Fair have really stepped up their game and are still able to provide a high quality experience.Thank you for your time and effort in these trying times.

This place was super fun. I went with a few friends for a day. It was hot as could be, but the lines werent too long. There was a heat advisory and people seemed to be leaving and the lines kept getting smaller. I wasnt complaining. We rode a few roller coasters a few times and it was very entertaining. I have been here once and I will never go back, I will never allow my children to visit and I will never recommend anyone to ever go here. I rarely give. any establishment two stars, Worlds of Fun is different. Despite it even being a classic Kansas City summer activity it brings sadness to my heart to hear about all of the neglect, abuse, and crime that has ridden this park over the years. The management changes have brought about sad outcomes to this parks history and truly if I or my children are in the mood for an amusement park experience we will not go here, rather we will be visiting Walt Disney World in Florida.

Mostly accommodating, some crew seemed to care about enforcing masks and distancing while others not so much. A couple times in a line where someone would be right behind us with no mask on at all. None of us like to deal with this stuff, but the sooner that everyone does the sooner we may see some full trains again. On another note, its the first time I rode Timber Wolf since any of the major work has been done to it, and it definitely seems to be paying off. Could still use it right up to the final brake run though, but I may just be picky

We had a lot of fun at the park today! The employees did a great job with all the new restrictions. However, a small number of the guests (teenagers) were not complying with the masks and social distancing guidelines. It would have been nice if the park had staff would have monitored the longer ride ques (Patriot, Timber Wolf) to ask guests to adhere to the new requirements of the park. But, overall, it was a great experience and look forward to going back soon.

Worlds of Fun features a variety of areas. It has rollercoasters, childrens rides, water rides, fair rides, Midway games, a variety of dining options, and much more. They have an entire land dedicated to Snoopy and his friends. This park is practicing social distancing in lines and on rides. The employees are constantly walking the park to remind guests to wear their mask properly. Also, if anyone in your picture does not have their mask on properly, they will not display your picture. At the time of this visit, they did not sell patches in any of the gift shops we visited. Also, the wait times were not as accurate as some of the other parks we have visited (i.e. the Momba wait said 45 minutes and the actual wait time was 1.5 hours).

With covid going on its really long to get on rides with very little people 45 minutes for the mamba and thats probably average for each ride. The food is crazy high as to be expected. subway is 20$ for a sub and other places like the bbq place you get like 3 small chicken tenders and maybe a small dozen fries for 14.99.. pretty much a kids meal. I would keep food in your car. drinks are not too bad if you buy the day drink for 15.99 otherwise 5.09 average for a 30 oz. Rides are about as Good as any other park - well kept. Right now its every other row. Lots of stuff is closed inside the park, rides and shops included.

This place is amazing! It is the perfect place to visit for people of all ages. Planet Snoopy is a hit for the little ones who can’t yet enjoy the thrill of the big rides and it’s packed full of miniature rides and coasters for kids to enjoy. For the older kids and adults, there are tons of roller coasters to choose from as well as regular thrill rides. During the week, you can expect to wait anywhere from 10-20 minutes for a ride, however, on weekends, you can expect to wait upwards of one to two hours for a single ride. Is it worth it? Of course! In the fall, Halloween Haunt is perfect for those thrill seekers who want to take things to the next level. The park offers all of its regular rides and coasters in addition to numerous haunted houses, scare zones, and spooky decorations. Visiting Worlds of Fun is a no brainer if you’re visiting Kansas City. Tickets are reasonably priced, however, you can expect to pay and arm and a leg for parking, food, and drinks. You’ll definitely want to be coming back for more.

Worlds of Fun is OKAY. Some stuff they get right, and some not so much. The season passes are a good deal. For $125 per person, my family of four gets plenty of value out of our season passes. My wife takes the kids at least 30 times throughout the Spring/Summer/Fall season, and I go with them at least half of that. Then in October they have the Halloween Haunt with about a dozen haunted house attractions. Those are free, so that makes the season passes an even better value. Those attractions are scary enough for my kids to have fun but not so horrifying that they come out crying. The food - not a good value. It is way over priced and mediocre quality. We take a wagon with us, loaded with snacks and go out to dinner after we are done for the day.I think $32 per cup is a bit much for unlimited sodas all year long, but it is what it is. Bringing our own beverages would be too cumbersome. Sure soda isnt FREE, but it costs the park like 2 cents every time I fill up my cup. So each of us gets maybe $5.00 of soda the whole season, and they charge $32 per cup. Id be happier with the cups costing $20, or make them insulated cups so the ice doesnt melt so fast. Insulated cups would cost the park an extra couple of bucks, but then we would refill our cups less often. The park is kept pretty clean, and the staff are friendly. As I said earlier we take a wagon with us everywhere in the park, and not once has someone ever messed with the wagon. The wagon is a must-have for our snacks, plus jackets and stuff in case it rains or the temperature gets chilly after the sun goes down.

Decided to go out one last time (9/6/2020) before the park closed for the 2020 season. We are season pass holders and have gone out every weekend since the park opened late June. I know with this COVID nonsense going on, that the rides would be operating at half capacity. We tried waiting in line at Spinning Dragons. They would have one car on the course at a time. Pathetic. Next we tried Timber Wolf. Slowest operations and were a disgrace. They would not let the next train load of people on until the previous train got back which resulted in that train sitting on the brake run for a good 3 minutes. We timed it. You only have half a train to check due to the empty seats it shouldnt take that long. After a trip around the park it was the same thing at all the coasters. The operations were terrible and a shadow of its former self from when I worked out there in the early 2000s. I blame it on management and lack of training.

I feel as though the best rides and attractions have disappeared to be replaced with an array of tedious, banal rides that no longer makes my stomach rise to meet my throat!Worlds of Fun continues to be a paradise for toddlers and adolescents, most certainly. Camp Snoopy is an awesome land of fun for the little ones. The main attraction was the Halloween decorations! There were trolls, arachnids, Jack-o-lantern, and spider webs galore. There are only 5 real coasters and 2 water rides. Snoopy land is great for kids, but could be expanded with more slightly older rides in between the young kids stuff and the bigger rides our 5, 7, and 10 year old like the same 2 or 3 and the rest are to small and snoopy land and to crazy in the rest of the park.We love oceans of fun, despite the crowds, but worlds leaves some to be desired. Now, for a once a year or once a lifetime park it is fine. Great amount to do in one day if you have older kids and enough to keep younger ones busy as well. Hand sanitizer stations were more than plenteous and we appreciated instructions given both by the employees as well as the written and floor instructions on distancing. The rides were spaced out so that you were never next placed next to anyone. There was always a vacant seat beside you whether on the ride or in the restaurants. I am not sure how packed the park will be but as season pass holders we were pleasantly surprised at how empty the park was. There was limited hot water, but its ok because they have showers in the lodge.Worlds of Fun (the theme park part) was AMAZING! There are rides for everyone including me, someone who doesnt seek too much thrill. My personal favorite was the Prowler, the narrator was funny and the ride was very good. 5/5 would ride 100 more times. If you dont like rough coasters you might not like it that much, but I personally loved it. Most of the lines were short and fast. The themed areas were unique, and all the different shops really added to them. There was a 7:00 show at the theme park, and the dancers were stunning! I had such a great time.Oceans of Fun was pretty cool too. I dont really like water activities, but the slides were pretty nice. It was very crowded though, which is bad because its hard to get around in the pools, but I bet its pretty nice when less people are there. My only complaint with the parks is that the food is suuperr expensive, and it just tasted average. I’ve never had a bad experience here until today. I took my sister to snoopy world to get on the train and as we were leaving snoopy world, the ride attendant accused us of stealing his phone. Being the bigger person, I simply said “we don’t got your phone” and walked away. A few minutes later we were getting off the detonator and there were two of their security guards waiting there to harass us some more. They informed us that the ride attendant had his phone so I don’t understand why they had to harass us more.

Tickets included both oceans and worlds of fun, lots of drink stations, good food, lots of fun. Glad we got fast lane passes so we got to go first on all the rides!!! Wont go back without those passes !! made the whole day much more fun then waiting in line at all the rides!!

Great holiday experience for kids and grownups alike. Beautiful light decorations and lovely live performance entertainment throughout the park. Spectacular costumes and vibrant energy throughout. Not all of the rides were in service (and one was shut down as we got on it), but that didnt diminish our experience. Its no Disneyland, but it doesnt need to be. It has a charm of its own, plus tickets are a third of the cost of Disney. When you have three kids, it matters.

AWFUL. Wish I never wasted my time/money/miles on my car for this trip. There’s wayyy too many people there with oceans of fun closed. Nobody keeps their mask on. Social distancing is not happening. Had to ask several people to step away and they fought about it. Subway sandwiches are $18 for a 6” lololol. Watched someone get arrested. I will never go back. Especially with little kids.

All the employees are really working hard to make sure everyone is following safety standards and I felt very comfortable. I was worried about having to keep the masks on the entire time, but my kids ages 7 and 9 didnt complain once.

Create childhood, teen, family memories here. Provides fun and easy experience. Has added several new themed rides since my first visit in 1995. Kept up with technology by building a full featured app for a season pass holder and information kiosk alternative. 2019 season is under $100. Very affordable. Inside purchases are high. Would recommend they offer free face picture of Mamba, Patriot, Boomerang, Detonator etc. Would recommend they update some of the structures like the restrooms and lines before rides for accommodation of handicap or high volume and impatient children lol. Haunt season is great. Free parking with season pass. $19 per parking$30-75 Avg. regular ticket$3.99-35.99 Average Food

Security guards are rude I was trying to find an exit and they just kept telling me I had to go into metal detectors to leave the park. I’m just trying to find how to leave and it’s confusing because of the covid set up

Went here for the first time yesterday, it was super fun! Rides were great, food was obviously ridiculously expensive but I mean, what do you expect from a fair. Never the less, had tons of fun and will return!

This park was better than expected. I was visiting Kansas and I like theme parks so I decided to give it a try. I visited on July on a week day, no long lines and a lot of rides and parking was easy. Parking has a fee. Boomerang was too much for me, hit my head and ended up with a headache, but all other rides are cool. Wooden coasters are extreme, so prepare for a rough ride. We ate at the dinner, place was a little dirty but food was good. We didnt visit the water park. We enjoyed our day and the park is big so plan to spend the day there, if you go in summer bring sun block.

These guys have put coronavirus safety at the forefront of their operations. The staff kept people socially distanced and was extremely professional in ensuring that guests wore masks. Given the outdoor nature of the park, the high relative humidity of KC and the attentiveness of the staff, I felt very safe. If you are stuck in the house and want a fun activity for the family, WoF is the place to go!
