Came to bestbet with some friends and we had a blast! Super clean area, no smoke smell and tons of options. They have some fun games for beginners and the staff really helps you understand the games and walks you through them. The sushi there is also so good! Definitely would recommend coming here for a girls night out or with your loved one!

Always a great time! Facility is clean. Open on 24/7 on the weekends. They have a wide selection of food - including fresh sushi! The staff is extremely attentive. Meaghan is our favorite cocktail waitress! Chyna at the bar is a multi-tasking ninja! We also have been impressed by Wolfgang behind the bar. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

Ive worked at Best Bet for a little over 11 years and I loved it. Both rooms are clean, friendly, the food is GOOD and I enjoyed the people Ive worked with over the years. I made life long friends in this place! The upper management was always understanding and supportive. Deb, Jessie, Kim Thunberg, Saige, JJ Curran, Dawn Clark, and Tony Anderson were always awesome and professional! I was so sad the day I had to leave but I can honestly say I would highly recommend Best Bet for a workplace or some good ol TEXAS HOLD EM !!

One of the BEST rooms Ive ever played in. Equal to the best Vegas has to offer and better than 90% of the rest in Nevada.Tournaments go flawlessly when offered, food is great, staff outstanding. Im 5hrs away in SC and make the trip to Best Bet 6 plus times a year. One poster stated that a floor manager named Gus was rude. Lol Gus is the easiest to get along with person Ive known in a management position in a casino. My only suggestion is to stop charging for coffee, soda and tea refills. Comes off and a little cheap for a otherwise great operation.

The front desk/list is not helpful at all. I was asking about training tables and she tried to send me to Orange Park location. I ended up playing the 1 card game and they kept switching dealers which I didnt care for. I think it threw my hand off a bit. I dont think Ill go back again.

This isnt a very good area, but the casino itself is pretty decent. They have JSO on staff at the front door and retired police as security which is a plus. Its all poker tables, no slot machines which is different from what Im used to. They have a few food and drink options and it seems like a fun place

Waited on 2/5 transfer list hours to action table. In walks friends of lady host and she put them on it ahead of me. I watched these guys walk in card room. She was rude & sassy about it.

Im not sure how they get the 4 and 5 star reviews. They must pay for them. I played there today and lost $300.00 in an hour playing 3 card poker and deuces wild. I never win here. I do not go in as much as I used to, because its so hard to win there.

The food was very good. Enjoyed the high hand promos that they do. I actually won one for $300 when i hit runner runner quad aces after i went all in after the flop with pocket aces in a 2-2nl game. There was a wide mix of skill level of players. It was actually my first time playing poker in Florida. The parking lot is huge.

There is something fishy going on at this place. Every single time I was all in on a hand I had out played my opponents and was way ahead in the odds, yet every time I ended up losing on the River. The only way I won any money back was by making a few hero calls. And when I say I was way ahead, my opponents normally only had 3 or 4 outs, either they hit a gut shot straight or hit their other card to win the hand. In other words they were down to 7 or 5 percent odds. This happened about eight times. I am going to look at avenues to sue if possible because of this because I have never seen anything like this in my life.

First timer - huge room. Most of the staff were good. There was one cocktail waitress who charged me $2 for a refill on iced tea. Thats pretty much socialism, imho

Fabulous food. Never expected that at a poker room. Professional dealers, great communication from the floor team. Safe and fun atmosphere. Other then not setting a personal loss limit, had a great time.

Not a bad room. Thw dealers are quite professional and the action is great and all that. The one problem I have, and its really head scratching, is the alcohol policy. Beers are like $5, shots are more, and a Long Island iced tea? You dont want to know. Obviously this sucks. But at 2am, they come around and make you shotgun whatever you have left or it gets forcibly thrown in the trash. Completely obnoxious.

This place sucks. I never win here. I dont like the way the staff treats me. I would save my money and go to a real casino. Not some fake joke.

I played a few nights here 2 years ago in 2017 and wrote a recommending review at that time. I am writing now for my recent 2019 visit that this is still a poker room I love to play in! I did not witness any rudeness by any staff at all, only observed some rudeness from a couple of drunk players late, late at night, who I felt the dealers handled with grace despite being directly insulted. I think the dealers are very friendly and efficient here.. as good as any I have played with on the strip in Las Vegas. Food is good, ambience is upbeat and welcoming, are there are many table choices for different types of poker games (no slots and other casino games - only various games of poker).

I no longer work here, Im still bias tho. Was a great place for poker playing and gambling and both. Now I know management doesnt care about the quality of the poker experience they present. They dont need to keep good dealers, they dont need people who know what they are doing. I earned a job as a poker dealer at BestBet and then a week and a half later I am terminated, basically had my job stolen from me, for an arrest with a single charge that Im not even guilty of committing because one person in power said he didnt believe my valid and truthful story of what happened. Im still innocent according to the judicial system, and according to him he said he believes in the innocent until proven guilty concept. He didnt cite any negative professional reason for terminating me. Simply got terminated based on one persons thoughts, one person with no evidence, at all, that my story wasnt true and correct. Therefore he believes Im innocent yet terminated me anyway? Complete nonsense runs the BestBet Jacksonville poker room. Plus they have a $7 dollar rake at $40 pots with pre-flop raking. If youd like to know a complete dirtbag in a position of power at BestBet, just figure out who terminated me. Guy steals from his own employees when he has no evidence to support his claim, yet follows through on terminating me anyways. Great example of someone who should preside over others dont you think?

Im an excellent poker player, but never win here. For some reason I have bad luck here, like nowhere else in the country. They dont have a frequent player reward program. The staff is rude, and mean. Its really not fun at all at this poker room.

Stopped in after seeing T Miles in the 2018 WSOP. Nice card room. Good space, great dealers, fluid play. Lower end tourneys to WPT fun. Ive played poker up and down the east coast, this place did not disappoint. Restaurant is decent for a quick bite. Floor waitresses can be slow. High hand promos are pretty nice. Not so sure about a rewards program. Ample parking. Good location, easy to get to.

Could not get a bet in due too the black women preaching on how to approach the windows. She stayed on her phone neglecting bettors trying to place a wager....I witnessed it over and over.....i refused her widow and then departed. I will not return. Im not up to her commanding standard.

If you like playing the ponies this is the place to do it.

I love this poker room seriously, but what I dislike is the shuffler machine. It takes away from the real poker room style because of high hand qualification for more rake.I prefer we have a hand shuffle option based on ruling from the patrons.

Its so hard to win here, that it has to be rigged. I play perfect. Plus/minus of about -50k. I really havent won anywhere else in the state either. I moved here from Georgia for a poker career, but that I regret. Good luck, but I will stick to online, where at least I have some kind of chance.

The air was clean and pleasant. I didnt get any food but it looked tasty. I love the waitress outfits, I really want it for myself. The manager Matt was so up beat and awesome, his attitude made me want to play more! By far my favorite dealer was Adonis {^_^} very bright and talented. Over all I enjoyed myself, it was my first time ever playing. And my first time ever inside a Bestbet. I cant wait to come back and play. I also cant wait to visit the other location which dwarfs this one in size. I have been told that the view from the inside is glorious. I will have to go find out for myself. Thanks so much for an awesome time!UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!7/10/2019I was treated horribly by two different floor managers. Customer service should be Paramount!I was told by floor manager Gus that even if I complained about how I was treated by him it would not matter and no one would care. Poor customer service. Ive played here around 50 times over the past few years and I have only left with money once and it was a few hundred dollars. I usually play 3 card poker and have tried the flush high game a few times. Its very hard to win anything at Best Bet. I remember I was playing 2 hands on 3 card and had 2 flush hands and the dealer turns over a straight flush. Ive had 2, 4, 7 of different suits way too many times at Best Bet. Ive tried different seats, different times of the day, etc. Im not sure if its the automatic shufflers or what the issue is. Ive seen some dealers come in and just clean the table out. Ive lost $300.00 in an hour here, but I have learned my lesson. Ive had way better luck in Vegas, Tampa and North Carolina.

Best poker room I have ever been to. We came down for the GA-FLA game and wanted to play cards. This place didn’t disappoint. Very clean, organized and well run. The bathrooms are clean and the food was fantastic.

Big, nice, clean poker room. Professional in their operation and they have wonderful too! Kitchen manager even managed to put together an amazing custom Greek salad including lamb and tzatziki!

Best Bet has the BEST SUSHI I’ve ever had in my life. The man makes it right in front of you and you know it’s goint to be fresh. Plus the price is cheap. My husband and I got two sushi rolls for ten dollars. Being from Myrtle Beach..you would think we had good sushi..but Jacksonville Best Bet has the best IVE EVER HAD!

Dealer always win here. I want to dissect one of the shuffle machines. Never again, no fun. :)
