Great little Campground that I would recommend. The staff was friendly, helpful and nice. The grounds are a great place for a walk. I visited in fall and the trees were very colorful and the weather was great. I hiked the multiple trails around the lake and enjoyed the left over Halloween decorations still in the woods.If you are in need of a nice mellow camping experience at family owned place then stay here!

This is an awesome campground. The owners are wonderful. We have been there twice this summer and they welcome you with open arms. Very well kept and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Will definitely plan on using them next summer! Very friendly both full time residents and staff. Thanks for making our camping with you enjoyable. They accommodated my sister and her husband at last minute which meant a lot to us. See you next summer.

Small but nice campground. Wifi. New pool. Dirt roads. Lots of trees. Small lake with a beach area. No sewer on sites. Close to M-66 and I-96. Plenty of shopping and eating opportunities a few miles north.

Excellent campground, all employees that we encountered were super nice and helpful. Showers get nice and HOT! Nice and quiet after quiet time, its really close to the freeway so if road noise bothers you that might be an issue. We really enjoyed it and its really close to where we needed to be fore the weekend. Thanks for a great camping venue!

We LOVED camping at Lakeside. The owners and staff were very nice, helpful and knowledgeableClean bathrooms And laundry area.Quite time was just that... QUITE.. love listening to the cricketsWe plan on going back to Lakeside... real soon.

It is a nice camp ground and they have a private lake a store and they are in the process of adding a pool. I would recommend checking it out.

The fireworks were awesome, the DJ was great too. The trails are really cool, lots to see on them. I havent fished there yet but heard the fishing worth it. Also love the way the camp grounds are set up. Plus everyone is friendly & it is dog friendly too.

The size of the camp site for tents is not very big however the people were very friendly. Theres a ton of campers and RVs all around. Its a little crowded but it is clean.

Nice sized camp sites, a lake that you can fish (with rentable boats) with activities planned, and friendly staff! Great camp ground!

Very well kept up, policed and layed back campground with awesome people surrounding you. Has off road golf cart trails and a lake for extra fun.

Staff, Owners and fellow campers are so great and friendly. This is first summer here and I love it so much that I plan on staying. Plus they have activities and nice beach.

We had a blast. Little swim area but great for kids and clean spring fed. Peddle boat kayak bike trails and clean bathrooms. Owners super friendly.

I love coming out to the camp ground when Im back visiting! They have expanded and added more trailers to go on. I cant wait to see what they do next!

Very pretty, friendly staff and campers. Lots of seasonal campers. Great for families. Nice (small) lake with trails all around. I power walked them most days. Good for 4 wheelers and bikes. Lots of camp fires at night so only 4 stars. I am not much into smoke smell.

Nice the people were pleasant but most of all the bathroom was clean! Very nice.

Hidden gem. Lakeside and wooded. Friendly, attentive, and very kind staff and owners. Highly recommend!

Quite and peaceful

Nice people. Park is nice. Were very nice and accommodating when my family had to leave early because of a family matter. BUTNothing planned for holiday weekend for kids, no pool, no wagon rides. No full hook up sites, no trash cans throughout park. Play areas are not really set up for tiny little ones.

The showers are clean God decent-sized campsites really good profession they got Trails kids or parents can ride their bikes through or electric golf carts haggai 2 playground for kids a swimming area people are really nice and friendly here they do keep up on everything

This is our first day here, we are the first people to camp on the new section the owner come over and introduced himself. Seems like a very nice place.Weve been back several times we love the place.

Very nice campground, there are quite a few seasonal campers but they are very friendly and helpful. We had 3 come over to help us back into our site. Bathrooms are clean and nicely tiled, they also had a laundry room.

Friendly and safe. A peaceful atmosphere. The campground owners are great and they give their ALL to make camping a great experience. Always something fun going on. We have been seasonal for 4 years, no other place compares to LAKESIDE.

Easy to get to, small store, small picnic tables seats 4, at camp sites.

Loved the neighbors And friends and family.

The people here are very polite and the lake is a beautiful thing to see in the morning. Everyone acts like they are neighbors and they go around on golf carts chatting wth people along the way. You can walk around the lake completely and enjoy the wonderful views it provides. I will definitely be back for more fun times.

Great people nice campground with great rates

We’re seasonal campers at lakeside and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The owners go out of their way to maintain the campground and are continually making improvements (thank you Jack,Carol & Mike).

I tried to sleep with low volume music so I could sleep over the loud highway noise and some old guy shook my tent and said all music needs to be turned off.I would have punched him if he was not so old but packed up my things and went back to the peaceful country.Ill never go back again.

We stayed here 2 weeks ago with some friends and had a great time! We have camped in several parks this summer and found this to be one of our favorites. We will be back. The park in well taken care of with lots of flowers and shady grassy sites. It is a mature park with several seasonal campers, but they are very friendly and include you in events.

Awesome place to go for a weekend or for a season. We have been seasonal campers there since 2007. Very happy with all the owners do to try and make it social.

A small group of us camped here recently. Most of the campers on location were seasonal. Some of those were well kept (mostly toward the front of the campground) while others were in various states of disrepair. Some had so much junk and clutter around them that there appeared to be no guidelines as to the maintenance of ones site. Our three sites overlooked some very unkempt seasonal trailers and behind those trailers was an unmowed field with deserted trailers past that. If this campground wants to attract weekend campers, this is not the location to keep campers coming back. The picnic tables were dilapidated and needed painting. We did not use the showers/bathrooms so I cant comment on that. Many of the seasonal campers had dogs. I dont mind the dogs so much as the barking and yipping, especially in the wee hours of the night. Campground rules state that dogs should be on a 6 foot leash. The dogs around us were not always on a leash, let alone a 6 foot leash. The dogs across from us often could be found walking in the road or on our site. One of these dogs actually came over to our site and defecated, leaving one of our group members to clean it up as the owners did not even know the dog was not on their site. The family behind us kept their dog tied up to the picnic table without food or water. In general, this campground was run down and if it wants to attract more seasonal campers, it needs to spruce things up a bit and provide guidelines to the seasonal campers on maintaining their site.
