We had a wonderful excursion on a beautiful day. The people that run it are wonderful and so friendly and nice. you can tell they were very passionate to find the dolphins for us to see, we stayed out for at least 2 hours install lots of dolphins and chased one that were flipping in front of a huge oil rig barge. Highly recommend

Took the girls out to see the dolphins. The day was beautiful and Captain Pat is a great tour guide. He is very knowledge with the area and where to find the dolphins. Took care to not go to fast so the girls could enjoy their first experience and had cold water for us. The new owner Ms. Kelley is very kind and called me the day after to check on our trip. Thank you for that Ms. Kelley and for the memories.

Best $45 I ever spent! My husband and I have been fortunate enough to travel the world and done various whale and dolphin encounters. But this is by far the best one we have ever done. I couldnt even count to say how many dolphins we sore up close playing and ride the surf of other ships.Captain Pat was so knowledgeable and knows everything you can ever imagine about dolphins!I cant say enough good things about Dolphin Connection and the team!Also check out the BBQ place next door for their incredible cheese dip.We will back with friends next year!!!

My wife and I had the greatest experience! Weve traveled the world, explored jungles and national parks together, but our experience with them and the dolphins tops it all. Our faces hurt from smiling and laughing so much. We spent 2 straight hours viewing dozens of dolphins feeding and swimming. What we greatly appreciated was the high level of respect shown for these fabulous creatures, their habitat, and the local boating community. The captain was extremely knowledgeable and really loves his job. We highly recommend!!

If you want to have a private adventure, these folks are the ones to make that happen. With only 6 people allowed on the boat, it kept this very personal and our Captain and First Mate ( the Burnetts) had lots of information to share about the dolphins, very knowledgeable couple. My son was anxious about getting in the boat and they were very accommodating, building his confidence up so much so that by the middle of the trip, he was standing up and enjoying the ride . We came to the coast to celebrate our 17th anniversary and this was the perfect choice. The price is worth the experience. We saw soo many dolphins and we felt like we were out with family.

This was definitely an awesome find! Came for a visit to my mom on the coast and wasnt interested in dealing with the traffic of Port A on a holiday weekend and boy am I glad I branched out. Captain Pat is super informative during the whole trip (he knows a LOT about dolphins) and hes hilarious! The boat is the perfect size and we saw tons of the beautiful creatures! His son Blair brought us alongside a huge ship for a great long stretch so we could watch the 20 or so dolphins surfing the wake and having fun! Its an intimate setting so you wont be overly crowded and its great for small kids! Totally recommend and we will be going back!!!

I can not say enough about the experience we had. This activity is for EVERYONE. Totally loved everything from the friendliest guides you could meet to the boat ride to the main event of the many dolphins you get to witness in their natural habitat. Our guides, Pat and Blair were freakin awesome, very informative and happy to do what they do. YOU WILL SEE DOLPHINS. Would definitely do it again and recommend to anyone. Go yall. 5 stars doesnt seem like enough.

So much fun for the family, must do if in the corpus area. Kelly was very sweet and helpful. The captain Bob was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable in the water and dolphins. Would come again

Sonja was so easy to talk to and you could see how much she loves her job. She wasnt sure if we were going to go on our trip as it was mid February and they were dredging the water and it was foggy. We had a small window where the sun popped up and she said we could go. Part way out the fog came back a little then left. We found dolphins pretty early and they were fun to watch. We ended up watching a dozen or so all around the boat. So cool! Even got a few to surf her wake after a few tries. That was awesome! She said they seemed preoccupied so they didnt come to the boat this time to touch but they were up close to enjoy how beautiful they were. She was a hoot and I would recommend. Not a fancy boat if that is what your wanting, but we wanted the personal experience and a small boat to be closer to them. Loved our trip!

Since their website was unavailable and their phone line disconnected we visited them in person on the way back to Houston. We didn’t find anything resembling the business at the provided address.According to the lady in a nearby restaurant, the place is now closed, the business was sold. So unfortunate, this must have been a great place. :(

A great tour of the coastal waters and dolphins. Our guide was well versed in the dolphins and our surroundings. Our kiddos really enjoy the boat ride and seeing dolphins. This is a must do if you havent done it already!

We brought our 5 and 7 year old out today. Sonja did not disappoint. She was a great guide, very sweet, and gave us some tips about the area. We saw several dolphins and were within inches of touching some. Our kids and us were the only ones on the boat, which was really nice for us. This was one of the best experiences weve had as a family. We would highly recommend!

Sonja is an absolute doll. She stays in touch after making reservations and keeps you posted on weather and any changes needed. She talks through out tour and explains different areas. Genuine and kind with kids too! Highly recommend!!

It was a wonderful experience with the best host imaginable. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about the dolphins. After a brief search for them, we were able to get very close and even at times watch them gliding the sides of the boat. We even got to see some surf along the waves with us as we were speeding around the bay. Truly a wonderful experience and highly recommend to and dolphin lover or a peaceful boat ride.

Nothing short of amazing! We came early in the year, and right after a cold snap, but Sonja made sure we found dolphins!! And not just dolphins swimming 50 yards away, Im talking right next to the boat dolphins. We didnt get them to let us touch them or to surf with us, but seeing them interact in the wild of nothing short of awe inspiring. I cant wait to come back again when its warmer and things are back to normal for them!!

We had SUCH a blast with Sonja during our visit at Dolphin Connection. She had a pure love and excitement for these animals and shared her knowledge with us. Our tour lasted nearly two Hours and we were able to view dolphins up close as they played and far off as the rode the surf from an incoming oil tanker. Such an amazing day!

The lady was super sweet, and we saw a lot of Dolphins. It was just us and her and for the price, you get what you pay for 100%. If you go to the other tours, youll pay less, but youll be stuck on a boat with 30 or more other people.

This is the best kept secret in the Corpus Christi area. The lady that runs this Sonha is extremely knowledgeable and an absolute joy to be around! She know all the best spots to meet dolphins and knows who has new borns. We have gone out with her a number if times with our guests from the Pica Ranch in Hondo Texas and we will go again in the next two weeks. Absolutely worth the money!!!!!!

Grateful. You have a first impression of people when you meet them and the first impression tends to last. I know when we met Sonja she would give us a special experience. The reviews that are mediocre or bad please think through before making a decision. We were on the boat at our scheduled time. She was an amazing person. She was not only full of knowledge but you could tell she enjoyed what she did by how she got excited by what she saw, and how she could identify and interact with the dolphins. We had the chance to see new-born babies, teens, adults playing with babies. We would slap the water and they would slap their tails back at us. They were alongside the boat playing with us. My girls were in heaven interacting with the dolphins, feet or hands in the water watching them swim to us to play . We came out of the encounter with more stories than we could share, and we know she is a genuine person and wish her nothing but the best. Please consider her, Im sure you wont be disappointed. We made sure to go based on all the amazing reviews. It was a bit out of the way of a lot of tourist attractions but we were not disappointed! It was a good as everyone said and we will definitely go again on future vacations. Owner was amazing and really made the trip enjoyable. Interacted with all of us, including the young kids.

What an amazing experience!! We took our two kiddos (8 yrs & 8 months) on this tour & its definitely something our oldest will never forget! The group was small which we loved because it made the experience more personal. We took this tour the day after a major flood so we werent sure if wed get to see too many Dolphins. The owner was very knowledgeable, free spirited, genuine & tenacious! She knows these animals personally & taught us a lot on our tour. We will do this tour many more times!!

It was awesome to watch these dolphins. the first 30 minutes there was not much action but coming to the end they started to show up and put up a show. they jumped, play with each other, watch them feed the baby, came up to you, roll on there back to show there pink belly and when the boat was on the move the dolphins followed. it was a great day and will do it again.

Weve been on several trips with the Dolphin Connection and have enjoyed it every time. On our last trip we actually got to see what must have been twenty or thirty dolphins! This included a new born and several babies. One of the great things about the Dolphin Connection is you get to go on a small boat that isnt cram packed like some of the others weve gone on. Its great to be able to see a dolphin sometimes as close as a foot away from your finger tips. We cant wait to get back and do it again.Sonja is the owner and tour guide, a one person small business and she was just great too! I almost forgot to mention her. :)

We never got to go. Owner was sick our only day. So while we never went, felt we should rate it. I typically find 3 star ratings, they give insight. It was very disappointing. This is the ONLY dolphin tour THIS intimate. We couldve gone on others, but gave up bc this one was the best for us. THIS IS THE ONE YOU SHOULD BOOK. Just didnt work out for us.

The guy that ran this place died. He preached about how aquariums were toilets for marine wildlife through the whole tour. We did get to see dolphins up close. He tried to sell us t-shirts that said Tanks no thanks.
