The food is overpriced. I can always put a pickle on a stick at my house for free. But it is clean but that is not a exuse for the rude staff though.

We have three kids from almost 2 to 6 years in age and there were things for all of them to do. Even the not quite two year found a slide she could get to in the water, climb the steps on her own, and go down. I just waited at the bottom to make sure she didnt wipe out. The lazy river is fun for all ages. We were there on a warm Saturday in July and it was busy but I never felt o overwhelmed like I wouldnt be able to find my kids. We all had a great time, and for the price even if you only stay a few hours (we stayed 3) it still feels worth it.

The young women there seem to have issues with older women who look better than they do. That generation has no sense of decency, just look around America today. They are closed until 2021 but I doubt people will forget. Apologize publicly, and give these employees training on how to act! Management better get them under control or they will not last much longer. Thumbs down from me, I will never go there.

Just remember you MUST wear jeans (no cutoffs or shorts) and a sweat shirt (full sleeves) in the park if you dont want to be kicked out. Dont worry though you will get used to swimming with the extra weight and its a good workout!

Careful I had to use duct tape. Not only are they discriminating against women, but if your junk looks bigger than the male life guards, they will ask you to leave the park

I used to have fun at Adventure Oasis,the fun part was the huge bucket,that would splash you with gallons of water. At this point,im happy that i already have a pool. It just reminds me of the good times at the waterpark.

Very fun, went with my whole family and had a blast. The only thing I have to complain about was the water, it was very hot and it did not cool me off. But besides that it was fun for the whole family!

We attended Adventure Oasis on a family vacation recently and had a blast. It was clean and entertaining for the whole family. Lifeguards were on point with their job and regulating the other children on their misbehavior and/or not following rules, which was pleasant. No deaths, haha. Great place to come and enjoy some water. Wear sunscreen! Youll crisp from the Missouri sun. Hope this helps.

Overall a great experience for the price even driving two hours to get here. My only complaint would be that there were not enough rafts for the lazy river, then being told we cant walk on the grass even though its 95° outside making the concrete extremely hot and not having any sprinkler system covering the walkways. Thats the only complaints Ive got.

Reasonably priced all the way around!!! We spent less than $30 all day and legit got our snack on!!! Facility was clean, staff was super helpful, plenty of parking!!! We were told(by a friend) that we couldnt bring in our own life jackets because they provided them and they were out of my daughters size most of the day. We ended up just hanging out in the kiddie area anyways so it wasnt a problem but I did see lots of kids in outside life jackets so I never got to the bottom of that one.

I love that when they close down the let me bring my doggos :) it is so awesome and they really like it! I love how friendly everyone is and how they help keep all the doggos in line. :)

Life guards were not pleasant. Got pretty crowded. Get there early for a table. We had a nice time. They have a decent price concession stand. The Frozen grapes were life savers to help keep the kids hydrated.

When this park first opened I spent a whole summer here every day all day and had a blast! Im glad I can now take my kids to the same park and enjoy it even more, today with my son was a great experience.

Lots of fun for thr family. Enough to keep you busy all day! For the price its well. Worth it!

It is a circus, run by clowns. Act accordingly.

They only allow certain rafts in the lazy river and they only have 8-10 total. Kids everywhere completely unsupervised but the only thing the life guards are concerned with is making sure no one has a tube from the slide. Not worth ever going back.

We hot there at 11:30, so that we could get chairs, and tubes for the lazy river. As more people show up, you cant get either one! It was good ther they had 2 windows open when we went to buy lunch, but when we went back later for ice cream, they only has one window open so we changed our mind, and just left to find ice cream some where else!

They discriminate against people.

I love this place. My baby sitter takes me here all the time. They have awesome slides a diving board and a large pool. If we ever get tired we just chill on our phones in the lazy river. And this is all very affordable. The food there tastes pretty good and is very affordable as well. The workers are very nice and help with whatever u need. The ground does get pretty hot so I recommend flip flops. But over all this is a fun and affordable water park.

Fun for all ages. Its a good price for a day in the water. The only downside I see so far is the water is ridiculously cold. Even when we were there last August. Its not comfortable to get In or stay in for long.

This was my first time there and I had a blast with my family. We were actually there for a birthday party. The water felt great. It was all good until an incident at the snack stand, which involved terrible customer service. Besides that moment, I still plan on returning.

Great waterpark. Visiting from outta town and this little place is a good price to have a little fun. Lockers are free but if ya want a lock for it itll be $5. However ya get to keep the lock so really not to bad. Id suggest if ya have one just bring with ya. Not to busy at all. Our 8yr old had a blast.

Unfortunately they have went down hill this summer. A total of 6 inflated tubes for the lazy river. I heard a staff member tell somebody what we got is all we got. They have way too many people coming in and out of there to just not replace tubes as needed. Also, it seems they just dont clean the bathrooms anymore. I still enjoy this place but they have lots of room to improve.

This is a nice water park here in Independence Missouri that is ran by the city of Independence not very expensive to go there they have all kinds of water slides to go down but my favorite part of the pool is the lazy river so if youre looking for something to do here in Independence Missouri and its very hot outside and you want to cool off the Adventure Oasis water park is the place to go to

It was amazing the price to get in. For kids it is $6 for 13 and older its $9 and the food is not that bad there and its really fun for kids teens and adults. I rated it a 5 star and think you should too!

This place is an awesome place for the kiddos... But the lazy river my kids said looked like hot dog water. The number doesnt work for direct for adventure Oasis.

Its decent, definitely more for kids than adults but its a nice, inexpensive time. Could use an adults only area but aye. Its clean.

This place is fun and amazing great place for family fun. My family and I enjoy being here and the price is great and cheaper then most places.

Management at Adventure Oasis needs to empower their lifeguards to uphold the pool rules. People were throwing each other, splashing other guests, fighting in the big pool, and shoving people into the pool on to other guests. All the life guards did was blow a whistle and look annoyed.I could not recommend adventure oasis less.

Lifeguards and staff are very respectable and welcoming. They also keep the park well maintenced and encourage the kids to be respectful. Well done

Great place but I drove an hour to swim cause they offer life vest but on this day not 1 vest was available in the lifejacket house or in pool area the workers Saud that the vest were in use but when your walking around park not 1 kid had a vest and every time I spoke to a worker they blew it off like it wasnt a big deal. I could of saved 2 hours of drive time and money by swimming in my own home town.

Fun waterpark to spend a few hours at mid road trip :D.. clean and affordable, a touch too crowded when we went, but from what we heard from locals, is always a popular spot in the summer. Lazy river was nice, big and bendy and the waterfall was super fun!

First time and what a great waterpark very spacious tons of recliners awesome water slides and the main pool has a great water contraption with a huge bucket that dumps every 2 minutes and low price for admission just a great place for the family

Drove 35min to come only to be told at the door that due to mechanical issues only the diving boards and kiddie pools were working. It would great to share this information on the website or on the phone line, both of which I checked, before people load up kids and drive out.

Went today and it was very relaxing and the kids were really having fun. Life guards were friendly and there were plenty of them. Will be going back again

Nice park it’s kept clean and has helpful staff. It gets really crowded sometimes to a point that I would call overcrowded ( no seats or tubes available at all) which makes it not worth going at peak times and is why it only received 4 stars.

We had a wonderful time. There need to be more rafts or somehow closer monitoring of the lazy River because it was impossible to get on and it was kind of nerve-racking we had five small kids with us. There didnt seem to be any way anyone was getting off we had to really move it all the entrances and wait then try to meet up. Also, the pool closed for 30 minutes to kid pool because of contamination. Of course I want it cleaned but I guess it was 30 minutes Beyond when they said theyre 30 minutes because they were still searching and it ended up being like 40 so we just left at the end of the day. The place was clean the people are nice we had a really fun time. Very reasonably priced we live in Blue Springs. Thank you.

Been coming here for the last 6 years. A family tradition for us. We love the lazy river floating and the water slides. They also have a designated area for kids which is so attractive. Definitely worth the visit

Its a fun water park. A few slides and a lazy river. I only wish their deep swimming pool was bigger.

Getting there early is ok however kids are out of control. Seems there is no adult supervision. People swimming backwards off of lazy river. Under my raft. I wish they had an adult only section. I like kids and enjoy watching them have fun. However some rude disrespectful ones not following basic guidelines made it just an ok experience

This review for swiming lessons, I would not not recommend them. I just had a swim instructor dunk my child that is 3 years old in the water. My son kept saying no Im scared and all of sudden literally when he had my son swiming towards me he dunked him under, of course he starts bawling and crying. My son did not want to go after his first lesson and I noticed every single one of the children were scared to get in the water in his class, so I watched like a hawk. I took my son out told the instructor that none of the kids will trust him if he does things without permission and will have a effect of the children being afraid of the water. I will now have to try and we will have to retrain my son. Dont take your kid.

We went to the Adventure Oasis July 1st, 2019 slides lazy river was shut down! There was no room for anyone to do anything. Seems really dangerous to me. We were there 30 mins and left asked for a refund and was told they dont offer refunds. We called earlier in morning to make sure it was open, no one let me know that half the park was Non-operational..!! We drove 45 minutes to get here to learn that half the park is non-operational.

Lifeguards dont watch their water they are too busy watching for a supervisor or another lifeguard to relieve them. Watched one do her hair instead of watching her water in the kiddy area. Lifeguards should never take their eyes off the water.

Very over crowded, not enough intertubes in thw lazy river and too many older children in the kiddie area arounf the littles.

I liked this place. Wear shoes because the pavement is hot. There are lots of lifeguards to keep things safe. The lazy river has a waterfall that is pretty nice. Bathrooms aren’t too bad and lockers are available.

My little boy and I enjoyed it here. There were a lot of dead bugs in the water but that aside it was fun. The splash and play Tuesdays and Thursdays are super affordable.

Not very family...dont expect for your infant to have any flotation other then a life jacket. Managers contradict themselves on their policies. Its clear kids are just dropped off with supervision and the life gaurds are too busy on their phones to pay attention.

I went to Adventure Oasis for an exercise class, but I have been there before to swim. Its a great water park that is very affordable. My biggest issue is that they dont seem to have enough tubes for everyone, largely because many of the tubes are already defective and dont hold air. I know the lifeguards cant keep control of the wild kids that like to mess around in the lazy river, so Im not going to penalize the park for that. Theres a concession stand, and an area for small children, as well as a large pool if you want to swim laps. You can buy a season pass or you can buy a daily pass. Both are very affordable. Water aerobics happened in the evening, and classes, again, are very affordable, and taught by excellent instructors. If you dont choose to go to water aerobics classes, you can just walk the Lazy River for exercise.

Although they could add a few things, its a great place to swim! The water is always really clean and it has enough things to keep the kids entertained all day. I love that the smaller kid zone is separated from everything else, so they can run around without worrying that they can get to the deeper pools. It is also pretty inexpensive for a water park. My daughter and I frequently go for just a few hours after work on weekdays, because they run a discount rate after 5 pm.
