Theater, including restrooms, is always clean.Every other row is blocked to meet Covid guidelines. I feel very safe attending movies here. Dont be afraid to come back to the movies!

We could not have been more impressed with our experience at the State theater the last weekend of September. We saw Skyscraper and loved the setting and the sound of this theater movie room. The concessions have great food options that are very inexpensive!!We highly recommend this for a movie date!!

Great place for when you missed a movie when it first came out or of you want to research a movie really cheap. Tickets only $2.50-3.50 each. Nice staff. Well kept, clean, old theater. I always enjoy seeing movies here with friends or family.

I realize its a discount theater, but the sound system was so bad (we saw Frozen 2), we could barely understand the dialogue. (It sounded like someone holding a hand over their mouth.) Not fun for a musical!

I dont want to buy the theater just borrow it for a cpl hours. Im not one that needs the fancy recliners that I can easily fall asleep in & miss my movie.

I love the State Theater! So clean! So nostalgic! Going to a movie here is more than just entertainment, its an EXPERIENCE! A step back into a bygone era, the popcorn even tastes nostalgic! Do not run new movies, run the ones on the way out. Place is always clean popcorn is good and snacks are priced fairly. Ive never had a bad experience.

Ive been going here since I was little. Always clean. Amazing popcorn. Really good ticket prices (around $3 for adults). The owners are extremely nice and care about their clientele. Plus, the building looks cool on the inside and outside (especially at night if they have the neon lights on). You can also buy authentic double sided movie posters for $10 which is pretty neat if you like getting original movie posters.

This is our go-to local theater. The only thing better than the convenient location & budget pricing are the personable owners...

Hands down, the State Theatre offers the best value in big-screen entertainment. Its always clean, the owners and staff are friendly, and they have the most reasonable concession prices. Ill delay seeing movies first run. Id rather see them at the State Theatre![Do remember that your concession purchases are typically what keep a theater open--tickets typically just cover the licensing costs for showing the films.]

A gem. Standard as well as Healthy and tasty snack choices. Good movies, classic auditorium, super clean, feels nostalgic but doesnt feel dated. After seeing a couple movies this holiday season, we are convinced we need to patronage this wonderful, neighborhood theater more frequently. To the proprietors: Dont change a thing!

Nice theater and all, but not so many movies. I would like to see Deep Water Horizon.. its not there, Finding Dory is still playing. What is this? Theres a lot of great new movies playing but theyre still playing the movies that came out a while ago. Disappointed.
