This is a very beautiful old theater with great shows and performances all year around. I have went to a couple of performances here in the past and have really enjoyed them. The only thing I think the desperately need top do is to replace the current seats as they are far too cramped and uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time, but other than that, its a great place to go see a performance or a show.

Gorgeous Theatre! The restoration committee did a great job. Very opulent. I was there with 4 kids, so I didnt get to actually see the movie. Luckily they have some seating in the up- and down- stairs lobbies (and a fully stocked first aid kit).

This is a beautifully restored theater and is an excellent venue for movies, concerts, or stage productions. There is not a bad seat in the house!

The staff was great. The film had a hard time starting. The temperature was good.

Beautiful restored theater! Great sound for live music! Staff was all super friendly and knowledgeable. Concessions stands sell popcorn, candy, and bottled sodas. They have a separate bar area for alcoholic drinks. Highly recommend!!!

Historic. Cheap movies. Wonderful programs.

Wow, puts it this place in perspective. I watched movies here as a kid which makes it special. But, more then that the refurbish done some 20 yrs again has left this place like a gem. Its beautiful besides being a wonderful venue for plays, dances, movie, concerts or just about anything with an audience. Just love to be in this place.

This has restored completely. The events run from free local events to stage shows usually held at larger venues.The only down side for a large person like me are the seats are replica vintage so narrow.

The renovation is great! The entertainment super! A chance to experience a bit of history & a movie at the same time!

Excellent and gorgeous theatre to see a live show. Movies are great for a date, or to take the kids and let them experience a different atmosphere. Prices are very affordable!

What a great experience. We attended a movie and had a wonderful time. The recent restoration restored this amazing jewel to better than new condition. The staff is friendly and we will definitely be headed back for some other events.

It was my first time going there and I was amazed by the beauty and quality acoustics!

Wonderful place and impressive architecture for a not so large town. The events that I have attended there were also very good. I fully recommend any one take advantage of the offerings from this venue. I do wish, however the restrooms were more favorably located.

It is nice to see this theater in use again. I spent many Friday evenings there with friends watching movies when I was a kid.

This theater was lovely and they seem to be bringing unique acts. In the balcony, there is NO leg room. Im 54 and felt absolutely scrunched.

The Hutchinson Fox is a fantastic grande dame and fine example of pre-war theaters. Warren has tried to duplicate the effect in his modern movie boxes, but you just cant copy the original ambiance. The acoustics are great, sight lines are excellent and the seats are more than adequate, if not quite the sybaritic loungers that Mr. Warren provides. Dont get me wrong, Im not knocking modern theaters. But if youre looking for great architecture, great ambiance, great history and great performances you wont go wrong at the Hutchinson Fox Theater.

You wont find a cooler venue in Kansas to see a show, or watch a movie. Absoutley gorgeous inside and out! Make sure to see it at night when the Marquee and sign are lit up!

Love this place so much. I remember going here for movies when I was a kid, so its always fun.Took in our first movie the other day though. Friends said they had fixed the audio problems from a few years back, but husband and I were totally unimpressed with their stereo sound coming only from the screen (front of the house). Im not hard of hearing, but I missed a LOT of dialog due to that.However, for a live event venue, theres nothing better! Always love going to The Fox. Well just pick more action-adventure or kids type movies from now on.

Seats are super comfortable. That is the only positive thing to say.Hotdogs were old, buns hard.When I asked the man at the register if they offered a military discount he abruptly said no and nobody ever does that anymore. I replied, maybe Kansas doesnt but other states do. I just moved here from Nevada and all theaters did there. I frequently go to the show. I will find another theater to spend money at. Maybe a cashier that smiles or normal colored hot dogs. Oh, and no he didnt have the courtesy to thank me for my or anybodys military service.

The venue is pretty classy old time theatre feel! Bad news is that are not enough restrooms for the number of people when it is close to a full house.

Beautiful art deco theatre, wonderful staff, a real treasure in our community!Where else can you drop $36 for a family of seven to see a newly released movie with five small popcorns and three extra tickets for the next movie!
