Phenomenal experience at Copper Rock. The course is in fantastic shape, extremely fun and has all the views++ Southern Utah golf has to offer. Great service and Friendly staff. Add it to the list of must plays when visiting the St. George area.

The course is in great shape! Looks beautiful. It will all come together in the next year or so when most of the surrounding construction is finished. Had to take a star off for the fact that they didnt have a kitchen to serve their guests. That blew me away when paying $125 for the round. They say its in the works, so I will be back next year to see for myself.

Course was in great shape (should be as its brand new!). Fun hole designs but the course is playable. Greens were very quick. Lots of front to back slope, which I didnt love. We played a sub-4 hour round on a Saturday morning, which was great. Its a bit of a hike to get to the course, but I was pleased. Good rates too. Id play this ahead of the Ledges, Green Spring, and Coral Canyon (condition!), on par/maybe slightly ahead of Sky Mountain, but after Sand Hollow. Course plays pretty short on most holes.#9 and #18 share a green with a sand trap in the middle of it. Staff treated us well. GPS on the carts didnt have the pin placements in the right spot, so our yardage wasnt accurate for our round.

One of my favorite courses in the US. Not too challenging so you can really enjoy the course, the beautiful setup and breath-taking views. Course was in excellent condition when I played (early September). Hats off to the grounds crew and superintendent. At $60 it was a steal. Will definitely be back.

Great Course. Fair layout design. Tough greens. The greens dont always reward a well played shot. You have to be below the pins always. Even then, you may not be rewarded with a good putt. Some pin locations on too much slope.

Went there with a Dean and a Stiff Fantasy Football Championship winner 2017. Course was great. Not built out around. The course is great, views are nice, only thing that would need improvement is the start before the round but I think that will come with time. I recommend it.

I hit my approach on a short par 3 pin high 18 ft from the hole on the first cut. Routine par? Bogey. Each person in my group tried the putt 5 times. Closest was 5 feet. Greens are tough if you are above the hole.

Loved this course. I only played the front 9 due to my schedule but the grass and greens are in amazing condition. Great surrounding scenery. Will definitely play here again.

In my opinion, Copper Rock is a poor course. First of all, the golf carts are inferior. Very slow and noisy- and stiff suspension that causes the cart to bounce on every irregular surface, of which there are many on the unfinished cart paths. And many holes require a 40 to 50 yard walk from the cart path to the green. Many greens are slanted- all putts are either uphill or downhill - annoying rather than interesting. And the 2 blind shot holes are boring. Finally, I think the surrounding views are not attractive- no red rock- all brown and parched. My conclusion is that the course is an afterthought to the residential development priority. In other words, it’s all about selling houses.I do NOT recommend this course, especially when there are so many far superior options nearby.

The greens were absolutely horrible. Payed a bunch of money to play what I thought was a nice course, turns out the greens were all terrible. I even called before and asked what the course condition was. Your money could be better spent playing somewhere else.

Fun course although not as challenging as some of the other St. George courses. Lacks the wow of the back 9 at Sand Hollow and The Ledges. Unfortunately we played not long after the greens were sanded. Mentioned this when returning the cart and was tersely asked by the staff if we had checked the website as it was stated there. I came home and checked out the website which says nothing about it. Nice track but not sure its worth the extra drive time when Ledges and Sand Hollow are closer, in better condition and priced about the same.

Nice new golf course with an interesting layout. Unfortunately the greens and pin placements were ridiculous, which really took the fun out of playing here. I left totally frustrated and wondering why I spent over $100 to play here.

New course in excellent condition. 5 sets of tees so you can make it as hard or easy as you like. Greens in excellent condition. Fair amount of construction going on around the course but was not annoying. We found it to be very enjoyable to play and will likely return. Price kind of high during high season but in the summer of 2020 only $60 including cart.

We played this course on a day where the weather turned for the worse. We came into the clubhouse at the turn and told the employee there that the course was virtually unplayable. His response was basically tough luck. Since we paid such a high price we tried to push on to get what we could out of the day, skipping nearly half of the holes because they were in a dust storm. Afterwards we discover that the people who had left before finishing got a raincheck to come play on another day, something we absolutely would have done if the employee in the clubhouse had told us that was an option. But since we basically finished the course he said there was nothing they could do. Terrible customer service.

Had very high hopes and wanted it to be another great championship course in southern Utah, but it needs help. 9 & 18 need another tee box 50 yards back... both are beautiful finishing holes but confused why it was designed to be so short? Two drivable par 4s on the front is one too many and creates a bottle neck that slows play, and 2-3 greens on the back that slope front to back so severely that they will never receive even a perfectly hit approach shot. Did enjoy the other creative greens and challenging short game shots. Pretty views and nice staff. Has great potential if in the future they add length where needed and fix a few greens to receive shots, if not it’ll remain a great track for the 60 and over crowd.

Wow! What a great course! What a hidden gem.Alright so for the good! This course has a tee box for everyone.Fairways are in great shape. The greens need to grow in because it’s so new but they roll good. Did I mention the views? (See pics below) It’s almost distracting! LolThis place doesn’t have a club house yet but who cares! From the moment you enter the property until you stand on that first tee the excitement is overwhelming. The golf carts are state of the art with Bluetooth and a great GPS system onboard.Over all I give this course a 9! But trust me someday when the club house is in and course is more mature this place will be a 12 just like the speed of the greens.Guaranteed! This is a must play if you’re a true golfer! You’ll use every club in the bag!Have fun and enjoy the journey at Copper Rock!

This course is a great addition to the incredible St George area golf scene. Played it just before its official opening. It was in incredible condition! Fantastic Southern Utah red rock views. It is a good mix of challenge and playability with really unique and fun green complexes that test a golfers creativity and shot making. Fast greens that roll very true. Really fun course!!

This new course in St. George/Hurricane is solid. It’s going to be a great 5-Star track once the grass grows in fully and if they keep the tees and greens in solid shape. Each hole is uniquely different with great green layouts. Some of the pin placements were a bit questionable, but each green offers a variety of options so I look forward to coming back soon! It will be nice once the pro shop is finished, but the service from the staff was great.

Best track in southern Utah!!! A course you want (and need) to play over and over!!! Forgiving fairways, but not overly. The greens are the real deal!! No complaining. Superfast, professional grade, and true-to-the-hole almost everywhere. Cash Kennedy and his team ARE the perfect fit for this course!! Cant wait for a clubhouse and restaurant. I wish the BEST for this course and its future!!

Drive an hour to get there then pay $115 and the greens have rocks on them. What a joke!!!!! I was really hoping to have a great new course with good management in st George but you don’t get that having people pay that much for their first experience and have to putt through rocks and pebbles.

I was golfing this course with some friends. The course was completely empty, zero people behind or in front. We had the Marshall come give us a “warning” that we were 20 minutes behind schedule... again, NO ONE behind us. Then he decided to park his cart next to us and watch us golf. Is a zero star review possible here?

Newest golf course in Southern Utah. Great variety of holes and especially greens. Since course is new fairways and greens are firm. Putting is definitely a challenge and breaks are greater than you think. Pay attention to pin placement and slope of the green on approaches. The staff is awesome. Cant wait to return.

I am a handicap player and had a few issues. Bruce the starter said he did not have any idea how to set the GPS for handicap after assuring us he was the guy. The rock bridge crossing the trench, at some holes, was very difficult to cross and I had to have help. The GPS was not set for hole #10 and we reset ourselves. The golf course is beautiful and challenging. This will not keep us from playing in the future, however, the management needs feed back.

The layout is a really good one. There are two par fours that will tempt you to try and reach but there is danger. The only negative I would offer is the greens are fairly extreme with a lot of undulation and slope. This could lead to rounds taking much longer.

Just recently previewed Copper Rock... we had a foursome go to St. George and play Sand Hollow (twice), The Ledges, Copper Rock, and Sky Mountian. Our group was unamimous that CP was the best course based on condition, green speed and consistantly and spectacular scenery. Not the few spectacular holes found at SH but the overall 18 holes... if going, this track is a must.
